Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2020;18(1):53-58
Objective: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of tuina plus cupping on chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Methods: A total of 100 CFS patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group according to the random number table in the sequence of visit, with 50 patients in each group. The treatment group was treated with tuina plus cupping therapy, 3 times a week. The control group was given oral tablets of wild American ginseng lozenges. After 3 months of treatment, the score of fatigue questionnaire scale (FS-14) was observed and the efficacy was evaluated. Results: The total effective rate was 92.0% in the treatment group, versus 76.0% in the control group and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the FS-14 scores of the two groups decreased, and the intra-group differences were statistically significant (both P<0.05). The change of FS-14 score after treatment in the treatment group was more significant than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Tuina plus cupping is effective for CFS, and can improve fatigue symptoms significantly.

Objective:In order to detect blood oxygen saturation timely, accurately, and conveniently,a wireless blood oxygen saturation detection module has been developed. Methods:Based on wearable monitoring technology and ZigBee wireless communication technology,we designed a blood oxygen saturation module of finger cuff type. This system is composed of photoplethysmography detection micromodule,ZigBee access terminal, and data analysis program, which realize the functions of waveform display,SpO2 calculation, wireless date transmission and so on.Results:The results show that detection accuracy of photoplethysmography is 98%,and calculating error of SpO2 is less than 8.8% satisfying the performance index of blood oxygen saturation detection.Furthermore,ZigBee wireless communication technology and light source regulator can reduce energy expenditure effectively. Conclusion:With the characters of wireless, low power consumption, miniaturization, and high performance,it can truly reflect physiological condition of patients, and remove lines on them, which make it possible for mobile monitor.

Objective To investigate the mental status and influential factors of female patients with malignant tumor.Method Self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) were to investingate 57 female cancer patients. Results The scores on depression and anxiety were(56.35±12.9)and(46.11±10.91),both significantly higher than the norms(all P<0.01). The factors influencing their extents of depression and anxiety included tumors in the reproductive system, breast cancer, poor economic condition,no spouse and multiple hospitalizations. Conclusions The female cancer patients suffer from many mental problems. The influential factors are the reproductive system, breast cancer, poor economic condition,no spouse and multiple hospitalizations, which needs clinical interventions.

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of local immune regulation therapy of thyroid disease. Methods Totally 110 patients with confirmed diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease were recruited. All patients received thyroid local immune regulation therapy with glucocorticoids 1~3 courses of treatment and followed up for 2~3 years, each being taken good care of during the whole observation. Results About 94.0% of the patients had significantly improved their subjective symptoms, such as pain, fatigue, and lethargy.About 67.7% of the cases had reached normal or markedly improved thyroid function after thyroid local immune regulation therapy.About 92.0% of the volumes of thyroid were reduced.Serum antithyroperoxidase antibody levels were decreased from(338.2?43.2)mU/L to(266.9?42.2)mU/L(P

A volunteer was scanned by spiral CT,the Dicom format images were imported into Mimics software to reconstruct 3-D mandibular model, then optimized by Geomagic and meshed in Ansys software. A good geometric precise three-dimensional finite element model was constructed. The displacement of dentition was similar with clin-ical situation by computer.

Objective To explore the mediation role of university graduates' core self-evaluation played between perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. Methods 200 university graduates were investigated by Chinese frost multidimensional perfectionism questionnaires, core self-evaluation scale and self-rating anxiety scale with convenience sampling method. Results ①Job-selecting anxiety had no distinct differences in gender, residence and the aspects of only-child(P>0.05),but in different subjects,it was different(science and technology(1.79±0.49),culture and history(3.21±0.50),t=-4.38,P<0.01).② University graduates' positive perfectionism was positively correlated with core self-evaluation (r=0.31,P< 0.01),while negatively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r=-0.35,P<0.01).University graduates' negative perfectionism was negatively correlated with core self-evaluation(r =-0.35,P< 0.01),while positively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r =0.42,P< 0.01).Simultaneously core self-evaluation was negatively correlated with job-selecting anxiety (r=-0.46,P< 0.01).③ Core self-evaluation played a part of the intermediary role between negative perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. The mediating effect was 30.0% of the total effect.Core self-evaluation played a part of the intermediary role between positive perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. The mediating effect was 34.5% of the total effect. Conclusion Perfectionism as a personality trait can calculate the level of job-selecting anxiety.Core self-evaluation plays a part of the intermediary role between perfectionism and job-selecting anxiety. It is helpful to the working tactics of university graduates.

Objective To analyze the clinical and endoscopic characteristics of fundic gland polyps (FGPs).Methods A case-control study was carried out at the Afifliated Beijing Shijitan Hospital of Capital Medical University from 2008 to 2015. The patients who accepted an upper endoscopy and found the gastric polyps for the ifrst time (diagnosed by pathology) were included in the study. Then, we analyzed the clinic and pathological characteristics of FGPs and non-FGPs.Results During the study period, 867 patients were enrolled, and 319 (36.8%) patients had FGPs. Compared the cases with the controls, the size of FGPs was smaller, an average is (0.40 ± 0.15) cm, single accounted for 67.7%, and 88.1% of FGPs were located at fundus and body. Helicobacter pylori infection of the cases detected was found in 6.1%, less than non-FGPs. There were statistically signiifcant differences observed in these aspects. From 2008 to 2015, the proportion of FGPs in gastric polyps and the detection rate of FGPs are both gradually elevated. Conclusions FGPs are the common gastric polyps, and its detection rate is gradually elevated. Most of the FGPs are mainly located at fundus and body, and single. Helicobacter pylori infection detected in the patients who have FGPs is rare.

Objective To investigate the value of colonoscopy with narrow band imaging (NBI) in predicting the histology of colorectal polypoid lesions. Methods A total of 173 colorectal polypoid lesions from 125 patients were included in the study. The lesions were diagnosed as neoplastic (adenoma or cancer)or non-neoplastic based on pit patterns and/or capillary patterns (CP), which was compared with the results of pathology, and the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of each method were evaluated. Results In differentiation between neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CP (94. 83% , 91. 23% and 93.64% , respectively), and those of CP combined with pit patterns (95. 69% ,96.49% and 95. 59% , respectively) were significantly higher than those of conventional colonoscopy (80. 17% , 84.21% and 81.50% , respectively, P<0.05). In differentiation between adenoma and cancer, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of CP were 86.90% , 100.00% and 87.93% , respectively. Conclusion NBI is superior to conventional colonoscopy in differentiation between neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions, as well as in differentiation between adenoma and carcinoma.
