Objective To investigate the effects of kui-yang-fang on trefoil factor 1 ( TFF1 ) , epidermal growth fac-tor ( EGF) and epidermal growth factor receptor( EGFR) in acetic acid induced gastric ulcers of rats. Methods50 rats were randomly divided into five groups. The rats of the gastric ulcer model were used by the icy acetic acid. After drug treatment for 14 days, the rats gastric mucosa was collected to compare to the ulcer index, then check the content of TFF1,EGF and EGFR with RT-PCR,and observe TFF1,EGFR with immunohistochemical staining. Re-sults Compared to the control, the levels of TFF1 and EGF in model group decreased, and the difference was not statistically significant. The EGFR level of model group was higher than that of normal group with no statistically significant difference. But the increase of kui-yang-fang groups and ranitidine group was more obvious, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). Compared to the model group,kui-yang-fang and ranitidine groups signifi-cantly elevated the level of TFF1,EGF and EFR in gastric ulcer, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.01 ) . Immunohistochemical staining showed that TFF1 and EGFR expression in kui-yang-fang and ranitidine groups were significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01), but the increase of kui-yang-fang of high-dose group was more obvious. Conclusion One of the possible mechanism is kui-yang-fang pro-motes expression of TFF1,EGF and EGFR to protect and repair gastric tissue.

Objective:To construct a canine thoracic aortic dissection(TAD) model for later studying. Methods:The soft tube with graduation and the puncture needle were used to produce the appliance for making TAD model.Under X ray, the appliance was placed into the canine thoracic aortic for elastin enzyme perfusion through iliac arteries or abdominal aorta. Results:TAD were showed instantly,2 weeks and 1 month later by angiography. Conclusion:This appliance can construct a canine TAD model.

Objective To summarize professor Lu Zhizheng's clinical experience in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis,in order to better guide clinic. [Method]By analyzing professor Lu Zhizheng's treatment of two patients with rheumatoid arthritis of the medical record data, it summarized from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and treatment.[Result]Professor Lu argued that invigorating spleen to remove dampness should be throughout the course of the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Two patients can reduce joint swel ing and pain, improve the appetite gradual y,and the symptoms were relieved obviously by replenishing qi and reconciling ying, adjusting ying and wei.[Conclusion]Professor Lu Zhizheng's Chinese medicine treatment of rheumatoid arthritis has significant curative effect,it is worthy of reference study.

Objective To investigate the effect of hypoxia on the e xp ression and function of integrin receptor ? v? 3 of bovine retinal vascular endotheliocytes. Methods Bovine retinal vascular endotheliocy tes in the culture dishes coated by vitronectin was put into the normal and hypo xemic condition, respectively. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay and cel l-adhesion analysis were used to detect the expression and function of integrin receptor ? v? 3 in bovine retinal vascular endotheliocytes, respectively. Results Under the condition of hypoxia, the expression of ? v? 3 increased gradually, and reached the peak at the 48th hour. The expressio n of ? v? 3 at the 60th and 72nd hour in hypoxia group was higher than that in the normal group. Bovine retinal vascular endotheliocytes absorbed more Vn of extra-cellular matrixes (ECM) after cultured under hypoxemic condition for 24 hours. Conclusion Hypoxia may up-regulate the expression of ? v? 3, which promote the adsorbability of endotheliocytes.

Objective To explore the effects of Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb (23C6) on the adhesion and immigration of bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells. Methods The culture dishes coated with vitronectin (Vn) and collagen, assays of adhesion and immigration were performed 60 minutes after different concentration of Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb was added to the bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells. The apoptosis of bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells induced by Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb was detected by electron microscopy. Results Both Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb inhibited the adhesion and immigration of bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells in a dose-dependent manner. The inhibited concentration (IC 50) of Zhaoke defibrase was less than 0.05 ?mol/L, while IC 50 of anti-? v? 3 mAb was more than 2.5 ?mol/L. 81.8% endothelial cells adhering to Vn were inhibited by 0 1 ?mol/L Zhaoke defibrase, while 76.3% by endothelial cells adhering to Vn were inhibited by 10 ?mol/L anti-? v? 3 mAb. Typical apoptosis cells were found in bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells after affected by Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb. Conclusion Both Zhaoke defibrase and anti-? v? 3 mAb can significantly inhibit the adhesion and immigration of bovine retinal vascular endothelial cells to extracellular matrix, and the mechanism may lie in inducing the apoptosis of endothelial cells.

Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)have a unique role in immune regulation and focus to T-cells.In the mixed lymphocyte reactions,MSCs inhibit T-cells proliferation by cycle arrest, but they do not increase T-cell apoptosis and the suppress T-cell activation. In addition,MSCs can reduce CD8~+T cells and Thl cells, and simultaneously increase Th2 cells in the reaction system to suppress the inflammatory response, which may play a therapeutic effect on the T-cells mediated autoimmune diseases.

To explore the clinical characteristic and intervention strategies for pregnancy complicated with heart failure. The clinical data of 67 pregnant women with heart failure during January 1998 to December 2010 were collected and analyzed. The rate of heart failure in pregnancy with heart diseases was 31% (67/216).The causes of pregnancy complicated with heart failure were peripartum cardiomyopathy ( n =33,49% ) and hypertensive disorder complicating with pregnancy heart disease( n =28,42% ).Heart failure in pregnancy appeared at an average of (36.0 ± 2.7 ) weeks. The average terminating time of pregnant women with heart failure was ( 36.5 ± 2.1 ) weeks.Cesarean section was the main safe choice of delivery for pregnant women with heart failure. The average weight of newborns for pregnant women with heart failure was(2517 ±541 )g.The rate of neonatal asphyxia was 22% (11/50).Strengthening routine antenatal examination and treating pregnant complications timely can prevent and reduce the incidence of heart failure.

Objective To analyse the results of Zephir semiconstrained or Window dynamic cervical plates with autogenous cortical bone graft in treating the cervical spondylotic myelophathy(CSM). Methods A retrospective review was performed with 43 patients who underwent anterior cervical discectomy, autogenous cortical bone graft with endplate retaining, fixation with Zephir or Window cervical plates. Follow-up period ranged from 0.5 to 4.0 years (in average of 22 months). The clinical effect, the fusion rate, the intervertebral height and the degeneration of adjacent levels were observed. Results The JOA score after operation was significant higher than that before operation (P
