Objective:To test Jiang Guangrong's(2005)three-dimension model on the depth of counseling process.Methods:In this process-outcome research,28 sessions in a university counseling center were videotaped and coded in terms of the model.Structure Equation Model(SEM)was used to examine the relations between the coding and counselors and clients' evaluation of the session depth.Results:(1)Clients and counselors evaluated differently on the session depth,and clients' evaluation was more positive than counselors' [(4.95±1.12)vs.(4.23±0.94),P<0.05];(2)The model was significantly correlated with counselors' session depth evaluation(path coefficient = 0.55,P<0.01),but not with the clients';(3)The session curves describing each dimension changing over time had different patterns in sessions of different depth level,through which more about the counseling process could be known.Conclusion:The three-dimension model on the depth of counseling process has got some empirical evidences.

This study was set up to observe the changes in stress and immune functions in upper abdominal surgery after general anesthesia.In thirty elective upper abdominal operation patients,general anesthesia was induced with propofol,fentanyl,scoline and maintained with isoflane and atrumium. Catecholamines(CA),cortisol,interleukin-2(IL-2) and soluble interleukin-2 receptor(sIL-2R) were measured before anesthesia,after induction of anesthesia,at the end of operation,and on the first and third postoperative days.The results showed that epinephrine(E),norepinephrine(NE) concentration increased at the end of operation and on the first postoperative day(P<0.01)，Cortisol concentration decreased after anesthesia induction(P<0.05)，IL-2 concentration decreased at the end of operation(P<0.05)，and sIL-2R lever did not change.The investigation suggested that general anesthesia with propofol,fentanyl and isoflane can suppress CA and cortisol increase resulting from induction of anesthesia. There was no change in IL-2 level.However it can not suppress the increase of stress hormones and decrease of IL-2 due to operation.The stress response correlate with immune functions.

OBJECTIVE: Dicerl plays an important role in generation of microRNA, the purpose of this study was to evaluate Dicerl expression and its prognostic value in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). METHOD: The protein expression of Dicerl was examined by immunohistochemistry in 276 NPC specimens, and the mRNA levels of Dicerl were analyzed by qRT-PCR in 56 NPC and 11 nasopharyngitis tissues. Cox regression analysis was used to identify independent prognostic factors, and a prognostic score model was constructed for survival prediction. RESULT: Expression of Dicerl was downregulated in NPC tissues at both the mRNA and the protein levels, and there was a notable positive correlation between the expression levels of Dicerl mRNA and protein. Low Dicerl expression was positively correlated with distant metastasis (P<0. 01) and death (P<0. 05). In addition, low expression of Dicerl was significantly associated with poorer overall survival (HR = 2. 32, 95% CI: 1. 30 ~ 4. 14, P<0. 01) and poorer distant metastasis-free survival (HR = 2. 56, 95% CI: 1. 39 ~ 4. 74, P<0. 01). Furthermore, multivariate analysis showed that low expression of Dicerl and tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage were independent prognostic indicators for NPC patients. A prognostic score model combining the Dicerl expression and TNM stage had a better prognostic value than the TNM stage alone model or Dicer) expression alone model (P< 0. 05). CONCLUSION Dicerl was downregulated in NPC tissues at both the mRNA and the protein levels, and low expression of Dicerl could be served as novel prognostic biomarker for NPC patients.

Objective To analyze the genetic diversity of snail populations from five provinces in China mainland. Methods Genomic DNA was amplified by random primer and the products were electrophoresed by 8% polyacrylamide and stained by 0.6% silver nitrogen. The results were recorded and analyzed. Results The average similarity and match percentage among the nine snail populations were 0. 721 4 and 0. 680 9 respectively. The cluster trees showed that the nine snail populations could be divided into three groups ; snails from Dali of Yunnan Province and Puge of Sichuan Province were the first isolated group; snails from Fuqing of Fujian Province and Dongtai of Jiangsu Province were clustered into the second group; the other four populations from Anhui Province and snails from Yixing of Jiangsu Province belong to the last group. Conclusion There is a large diversity among smooth-shelled snails in China although close relationship exists. The cluster trees gained by different snail populations are basically the same and consistent with the distribution of these populations. However, further study should be carried out on the cluster of smooth-shelled snails from Dongtai of Jiangsu Province.

Objective To evaluate the effects of geraniol(GOH) on neointima hyperplasia in rat carotid artery balloon injury model, and explore the potential molecular mechanisms associated with this effect. Methods Totally 20 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into sham operation group (without balloon injury), control group (with balloon injury), low concentration group (with 50 mg/kg GOH intervention after balloon injury) and high concentration group (with 200 mg/kg GOH intervention after balloon injury). The intima to media (I/M) area ratio of neointima was measured by hematoxylin- eosin (HE) staining. The expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) was measured by immunohistochemical staining at 14th day after operation. As the marker of oxidative stress, the levels of 8-hydroxy-2’-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were measured by enzyme linked inmmnosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The I/M ratio, IOD, 8-OHdG and MDA values were increased in control group compared with those of sham group. The I/M ratio, IOD and 8-OHdG values were reduced in low concentration group compared with those of control group. But there was no significant difference in MDA level between low concentration group and control group. The I/M ratio, IOD, 8-OHdG and MDA values were significantly reduced in high concentration group compared with those of control group, which showed a more significant inhibitory effect than that of low concentration group (P<0.05). Conclusion GOH could attenuate balloon iniury induced neointima hyperplasia, which might be related to its effect on inhibiting expression of PCNA and decreasing oxidative stress.

Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) refers to RNA transcripts with more than 200 nucleotides in length, which plays regulatory roles directly in the form of RNA. Their functions are affected by their secondary structures, post transcriptional modification and so on. LncRNA can be classified to various subtypes with complicated mechanisms. In human-induced-pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and embryonic stem cells (ESCs), dynamic expression of some lncRNAs is detected during the neuronal differentiation, and a series of lncRNAs associated closely with the development process of the central nervous system (CNS) are found. This review summarizes the molecular biological properties of lncRNA and their regulatory functions in the development of the CNS, which is helpful to reveal the mechanisms of the pathogenesis and progression of certain neurological diseases and results in innovation of their diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To investigated the analgesic effect of processed Aconiti tuber(PAT) in rats with a sciatic nerve chronic constriction injury(CCI) .Methods The study was conducted in two parts. CCI model was developed with four ligatures placed around the right sciatic nerve and tied without obstructing the blood supply of the nerve. In part Ⅰ, forty rats were randomly divided into five groups(n = 8) . In group Ⅰ normal saline 1 ml , In group Ⅱ-Ⅴ PAT 0.5 ,1, 2 ,or 4 g/kg was administered orally 14 days after CCI respectively. In part Ⅱ , thirty-two rats were randomly divided into four groups (n = 8) . In group Ⅰ oral normal saline 1 ml, in group Ⅱ oral PAT 2 g/kg, in group Ⅲ oral PAT 2 g/kg + intraperitoneal nor-binaltorphimine (nor-BNI) 2 mg/kg, in group Ⅳ oral PAT 2 g/kg + intrathecal nor-BNI 100 ?g was administered 14 days after CCI. As indicators of mechanical and heat hyperalgesia, the paw withdrawal pressure threshold (PWPT) in response to a graded pressure stimulus with a filament and the paw withdrawal latency (PWL) in response to radiant heat were measured in both hind paws before and after drugs administration.Results In part Ⅰ, in group Ⅲ-Ⅴ PWL was prolonged significantly and in group Ⅳ - Ⅴ PWPT were significantly increased compared with those in group I . There was no significant difference in PWL and PWPT between group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ . In part Ⅱ , in group Ⅲ, Ⅳ PWPT and PWL were significantly lower than those in group Ⅱ . There was no significantly difference in PWL and PWPT between group Ⅰ and group Ⅲ, Ⅳ . Conclusion In rat with neuropathic pain processed Aconiti tuber exerts analgesic effect via the spinal ?-opioid receptor activation.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of mouth three oxide inorganic polymer under a microscope to repair the pulp cavity perforation.Methods 120 patients with medullary cavity perforation, caries origin were selected as the research subjects,they were randomly divided into oral microscope inorganic oxide polymer repair the pulp cavity perforation of the experimental group and the resin inlay repair the pulp cavity perfora-tion of the control group,each group had 60 cases.The postoperative occlusion pain,swollen gums and loose,fistula formation,the incidence of chewing function not completed and X -ray curtate alveolar bone density decrease the shadow changes were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence rates of bite pain,swollen gums, loosening of the observation group were 5.00%,3.33%,6.67%,which of the control group were 11.60%,13.33%, 18.33%,the differences between two groups were significant (χ2 =5.49,P <0.05;χ2 =4.76,P <0.05;χ2 =4.23, P <0.05).The fistula formation,chewing function not completed,X -ray curtate alveolar bone density to reduce shadow expand of the observation group were 3.33%,5.00%,5.00%,which of the control group were 10.00%, 30.00%,40.00%,the differences between the two groups were significant (χ2 =5.34,P <0.05;χ2 =4.12,P <0.05;χ2 =4.56,P <0.05).Conclusion The clinical curative effect of oral three oxide inorganic polymer under a microscope to repair the pulp cavity perforation is outstanding,compared with the resin inlay repair the pulp cavity perforation has many advantages,it can be used as a kind of ideal method used in the clinical work.
