Objective:To examine the surface of mineral trioxide aggr eg ate (MTA) when treated in different conditions in vitro. Method: Root blocks were prepared. MTA and other three dental materials (Dycal, Dyr act and amalgam) were respectively filled into the root canals of prepared root blocks. The roots with the materials were maintained in distilled water or simul ated body fluid (SBF) at 37 ℃ for 5 days. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) were employed to investigate the mor phological changes and chemical components. Results:There was pr ecipitate of simple crystal units or crystalline structure in the MTA specimens. EDS showed one or two peaks corresponding to calcium or calcium and phosphorus. Conclusions:Apatite may produce and grew by MTA on its surface.

Objective　To study clinical value of ultrasoni c diagnosis in the congenital ureterostenosis. Methods　33 cases of ureterostenosis were measured with B-ultrasonographic examination, the resu lt of B-ultrasonographic examination was compared with the diagnosis of X-ray and surgery. Results　The localization rate and accord rate of B -ultrasonographic examination in diagnosis of ureterostenosis(obstruction) were 93.3% and 81.8% respectively. Conclusion　B-ultrasonographic examination in diagnosis of congenital ureterostenosis possesses greater advanta ge and better clinical value.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the possible effects of meteorological and environmental factors on allergic rhinitis of children. METHOD: Daily numbers of outpatients consulting general practitioners for AR between Jan 1 2007 and Dec 31 2011 were obtained from the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Shanghai Children Medical Center. Daily maximum, average and minimum temperatures and humidity and wind power for Shanghai of the same 5 years were obtained from the Shanghai Meteorological Office. Air Quality data was provided by the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Monitoring Center on daily SO2, NO2 and PM10, the average of O3 per 8 hours. The data was available as average values derived from the data of 6 state comtrolled monitoring stations distributed across Shanghai. Non-parametric generalized additive model (GAM) was used to analyze the highly non-linear or non-monotonic exposure-response relationship between meteorological and environmental factors and daily outpatient visiting for AR of children. RESULT: The daily numbers of AR children in outpatients department in this study were highest in the average daily temperature 11°C and 21°C. It showed two peak. But as the humidity increased, daily numbers of outpatients of AR children went down, indicating that the higy humidity has protective effect. Every 10 microg/m3 increase of environmental pollutants O3, SO2 and PM10 was linked to 1.95%, 1.19% and 0.33% increase in the number of visitors, respectively, suggesting the air pollution may increase the risk of onset of AR in children. CONCLUSION Meteorological and environmental factors have important effects on AR in children.

Objective To explore the feasibility and cosmetic results of video-assisted subcutaneous mastectomy and immediate reconstruction. Methods Two patients who suffered from breast diseases and need to excise the breasts received a video-assisted total subcutaneous mastectomy and immediate reconstruction in our center. Results Both patients felt satisfied on the cosmetic result. According to the operative experience of these two patents combined with review, the key point of the operation was summarized as follows. The incisions on the anterior axillary line were small and concealing. External retraction method was used to establish the working space. Video-assisted operation was combined with euthyphoria. Blunt dissection was combined with electrical surgery unit and ultrasound knife to isolate the breast skin flap. After breast glandectomy was completed, silica gel prosthesis was put into the interspace behind ectopectoralis. Pressure dressing for 3 weeks was done to prevent the prosthesis upward displacement. Conclusion The video-assisted subcutaneous mastectomy and immediate reconstruction is a safe and feasible operation method with the better cosmetic result.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for clinical prevention and treatment of ceftizoxime-induced hemolytic anemia by investigating the situation of ceftizoxime-induced hemolytic anemia. METHODS:Using Chinese and English“ceftizoxime”“he-molysis”and other words as key words,related literatures during 1986-2015 were retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang database and PubMed database. Those literatures were analyzed statistically in respects of general information,clinical drug use and manifesta-tion,occurrence time and outcome,etc. The mechanisms of hemolytic anemia were analyzed to put forward prevention and treat-ment measures. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:A total of 11 literatures were retrieved,including 4 foreign literatures and 7 domes-tic ones. There were 15 cases in total,including 5 foreign cases and 10 domestic cases. According to the patient’s age,there were 7 cases of infants,4 cases of the elderly,3 cases of middle-aged people and 1 case of youth. The hemolytic anemia often occurred on the 2-7 day(8 cases). Most of the patients were improved after treatment,but there were 3 patients who died. The mechanism of hemolytic anemia mainly included the production of immune complex and non-immunologic protein adsorption. It is suggested to investigate allergic reaction history,pay attention to sensitization test on skin,select suitable drug dosage and avoid drug combina-tion. The patient’s medications should be monitored closely. Once hemolytic anemia occurs,it should be immediately stop using the drug and take appropriate measures as hormone treatment,comprehensive treatment,blood transfusion treatment,to avoid en-dangering the life safety of patients.

OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for rational use of analgesic drugs for advanced cancer,moderate to severe pain. METHODS:The data of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs were collected from hospital information system of a third grade class A hospital during 2012-2014,and then analyzed in respects of amount,consumption sum and DDDs,etc. RE-SULTS:The amount of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs kept stable basically,and the consumption sum of them during 2012-2014 was 1 566 289.92 yuan,1 525 220.23 yuan and 1 531 277.44 yuan. The consumption sum of Morphine hydrochlo-ride tablet increased the fastest,increasing by 89.78% in 2013 and 142.81% in 2014,compared with the year before;those of other drugs had negative growth rate. DDDs of Morphine hydrochloride sustained-release tablets were the highest among all the narcotics and first type psychotropic drugs and increased year by year,increasing from 26 848.00 in 2012 to 47 158.00 in 2014. CONCLU-SIONS:The use of narcotic drugs and first type psychotropic drugs conform to the specifications,but they still need strict supervi-sion to promote safe and effective use of them in the clinic.

Objective To study the physiological indicators and arterial blood gas values,and create a reliable data for researchers using beagle dogs.Methods Beagle were sampled before and after Zoletil anesthesia (10 mg/kg) via intramuscular injection.Then aterial blood gas was detected by blood gas analyzer.Then the physiological indicators,including heart rate,blood pressure and body temperature were measured via large animal ECG.Results For blood gas values,the pH value decreased significantly (P ＜ 0.01).pCO2 increased significantly and pO2 decreased significantly,the differences were significantly (P ＜ 0.05).In contrast,levels of Lac and HCO3-remained unaltered,indicating a typical respiratory acidosis.For physiological indicators,blood pressure increased slightly,but not significant.The heart rate increased significantly (P ＜ 0.01) and body temperature decreased significantly (P ＜ 0.01).There was no difference between sexes.Conclusion Zoletil anesthesia causes respiratory arrest and respiratory congestion,which further induced respiratory acidosis.Meanwhile,anesthesia also results in elevated heart rhythm and lower body temperature.These data indicate that warming and airway clear are necessary during anesthesia in Beagles.Moreover,it should be considered about the effects of anaesthetics when comparing differents in animals before and after treatment.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for content determination of the total naphthoquinone in oil/water emul?sion of shikonin by ultraviolet spectrophotometry.METHODS:The content of the total naphthoquinone was counted in L-shikonin,methanol was used as solvent and the wavelength was set at516nm.RESULTS:The concentration of L-shikonin had good linear correlation with absorbance in the range of8.32～41.60?g/ml(r=1.0000,n=5),the average recovery was98.6%(RSD=0.53%).CONCLUSIONS:The present method is simple,precise and replicable resulting in high recovery and accuracy,it can be used to determine the content of total naphthoquinone in oil/water emulsion of shikonin.

Objective To investigate the relationship of insulin resistance and secretion during late pregnancy in women with glucose intolerance.Methods Immunoenzymetric assay was used to measure the fasting serum insulin levels in 122 pregnant women which including of 36 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM),34 pregnant women with gestational impaired glucose tolerance(GIGT),and 52 pregnant women with normal glucose tolerance(NGT).The fasting plasma glucose levels were measured by glucose oxidase method.The insulin sensitivity index(ISI) and islet secretive function index(IFI) were compared between the three groups.Results ISI had an increasing trend from NGT group,GIGT group to GDM group(P

Objective To understand the cue-induced craving, physiological reactions to heroin-related cues, and to explore the factors that impact the cue-induced craving. Methods 369 abstinent heroin addicts were exposed to videotapes of heroin using and simulacrum after the self relaxation. The craving, abstinent symp-toms were measured before and after cue exposures. The physiological reactions were measured by multi-biofeed-back instrument before, during, and after cue exposure. BIS-Ⅱ questionnaire was used to collect information about their impulsive characteristic. Results After cue exposure, the self-reports scores of craving (t=11.24, P< 0.01), physiological index including heart rate((76.6±11.3) beats/min, F=19.23), skin conduct ((7.48± 4.25)μs, F=53.99), pupil size (t=11.73) had significant change in heroin addicts (P<0.01). Logistic regres-sion results showed that the scores of BIS-Ⅱ were related to cue-reduced craving (P=0.001,95% CI: 1.015～1. 065). Conclusions Exposure to drug-related cues can induces craving and physiological reactions in long term abstinence heroin addicts. High impulsive characteristic is a risk factor to induce drug-related craving. The inter-vention strategies should consider the impulsive characteristic and make a comprehensive intervention program to prevent relapse.
