4.Potential targets prediction of apigenin via virtual screening
Chongqing Medicine 2016;45(27):3821-3823
Objective To predict the potential targets of apigenin by virtual screening .Methods The targets preliminarily forecast by PharmMapper ,were validated by associating data mining and Autodock Vina in PyRx 0 .8 .Subsequently ,receptor‐ligand interactions were analyzed by Discovery Studio 3 .5 .Results The virtual screening by PharmMapper indicated that apigenin coupled well with the disease‐related targets including insulin receptor ,estradiol 17‐beta‐dehydrogenase 1 ,and cathepsin K .According to the data mining ,insulin receptor was found in related experimental researches ,while the other two had few reports previously .And then ,the interactions between apigenin and the target proteins were analyzed by Autodock Vina and Discovery Studio Visualizer 3 .5 ,involving hydrogen bonds ,electrostatic forces ,van der Waals forces etc .Conclusion The most potential targets of apigenin were insulin receptor ,while 17‐beta‐dehydrogenase 1 and cathepsin K were also possible .
5.Laparoscopic cholecystectomy combined with endoscopic sphincterotomy for treatment of gallstones with com-mon bile duct stones:retrospective clinical analysis of 621 cases
Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2014;(1):58-59
Objective To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of laparoscopic cholecystectomy ( LC) combined with endoscopic sphincter-otomy ( EST) for treatment of gallstones with common bile duct stones. Methods Clinical data of 652 patients who were treated by LCs and ESTs were retrospectively analyzed. Results ESTs were successfully accomplished in 634 patients (97. 2%), and LCs were successfully ac-complished in 621 among the 634 patients (97. 9%) after ESTs. The mean length of hospitalization after LCs was 4 days (2~15 days). In all 652 patients, there were 233 cases of acute pancreatitis, including 171 cases before ESTs and 62 cases (13. 1%) after ESTs, and they were all cured after ESTs. In 621 patients after LCs, bile leakages occurred in 8 patients (1. 2%) and they were cured with intraoperative drainages. Local fluid accumulations occurred in 120 patients (19. 0%), and 118 cases of them healed without management, and the other 2 cases were cured with percutaneous tube-placement drainages guided by ultrasonography because of abscesses. Conclusion It is safe and effective to treat gallstones with common bile duct stones by LC combined with EST because of its high success rate, short hospital stay and mild complications.
6.Effect of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure in the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Hypopnea Syn-drome Complicated with Coronary Heart Disease
China Pharmacist 2016;19(6):1105-1107
Objective:To explore the application value of continuous positive airway pressure ( CPAP) in the treatment of obstruc-tive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS ) complicated with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods:Totally 50 patients with OSAHS complicated with CHD from June 2012 to June 2014 in our hospital were randomly divided into the control group and CPAP group with 25 ones in each .The patients in the control group were treated with the conventional drug therapy for coronary heart disease , while those in CPAP group were treated with CPAP additionally .After 6-month treatment, PSG index, clinical symptoms, arrhythmia and ischemia electrocardiogram changes of the patients in the two groups were compared .Results:After the 6-month treatment , AHI and oxygen desaturation index in CPAP group were significantly decreased when compared with those before the treatment , and the min-imum value of SaO2 and the average value of SaO 2 were higher than those before the treatment (P<0.01), and the above indices were better than those in the control group (P<0.01).The incidence rate of chest pain and chest tightness , arrhythmia, times of myocardi-al ischemia in a day and time of myocardial ischemia in a day were decreased after the treatment (P<0.01), and the decrease in CPAP group was more notable than that in the control group (P<0.01).Conclusion: CPAP combined with the conventional drug therapy for coronary heart disease can improve the oxygen concentration and reduce the incidence of arrhythmia and myocardial ischemia in the patients with OSAHS with CHD , which can be widely used in clinics .
7.Inhibitory effects of melatonin on breast cancer
Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2017;42(3):346-351
Melatonin has a significant inhibitory effect on various cancers, especially on breast cancer. In estrogen receptor (ER)-positive human breast cancer,anti-cancer effects ofmelatonin on breast cancer cells and transplanted tumors mainly achieve by suppressing ER mRNA expression and ER transcriptional activity via the MT1 receptor. In addition, melatonin regulates the transactivation of other members of the nuclear receptor super-family,estrogen metabolizing enzymes, and the expression of related genes.Furthermore, melatonin also suppresses tumor aerobic metabolism, critical cell-signaling pathways relevant to cell proliferation, survival, metastasis, and drug resistance.Melatonin demonstrates both cytostatic and cytotoxic activity in breast cancer cells that appears to be cell-type specific.Studies on animal and human models indicate that disruption of the circadian nocturnal melatonin signal promotes the growth, metabolism, and signaling of human breast cancer, resulting in invalid hormone therapy and chemotherapeutic resistance in breast tumors.

9.Recent research advances in the relationship between caffeine intake and atrial fibrillation
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2017;37(3):411-413
Atrial fibrillation is one of common arrhythmias and can significantly increase risks of stroke and heart failure with high rates of mortality and disability. The incidence of atrial fibrillation increases year by year due to aging population, high incidences of coronary heart disease and hypertension, and lifestyle changes. As one of widely consumed drinks in the world, coffee affects the daily life of modern people. The intake of caffeine, which is the main ingredient of coffee, can influence the incidence of atrial fibrillation, but the relationship between them is still controversial. Most studies deem that the intake of caffeine is negatively correlated with the incidence of atrial fibrillation. This paper reviews current studies in China and abroad on the relationship between the intake of caffeine and the incidence of atrial fibrillation.

Chinese Journal of Information on Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(4):41-43
Objective To analyze the composing principles of the prescriptions for Lijie disease by using The Prescription of Traditional Chinese Medicine Dictionary. Methods The prescriptions for Lijie disease in the book of The Prescription of Traditional Chinese Medicine Dictionary were collected. Database was established by using TCM Inheritance Support System (V1.1). Medicine using frequency, composing principles, and composition of new medicine were analyzed through association rules and entropy clustering method. Results Based on the analysis on 187 cases of prescriptions, 42 Chinese herbal medicines were with the frequency of 42 times and Angelicae Sinensis Radix was the core herbal medicine. 69 core combinations with three to four herbal medicines and 6 new prescriptions were obtained through evolution. Conclusion According to the analysis of composing principles and clustering new prescriptions of Lijie disease, the treatment for Lijie disease is toning liver and spleen, and nourishing liver and kidney.
