Objective To study the impact of mindfulness therapy on the surgical stressors of patients undergoing elective surgery. Methods One hundred and twenty patients undergoing elective surgery were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table with 60 in each group. The control group was treated with conventional care intervention and the former with nursing intervention based on mindfulness therapy, body scanning, mindful breathing, mindfulness meditation, walking meditation, mindfulness yoga and mindfulness aspect introspection, besides the conventional one. The intervention effect was compared between the groups by way of the Chinese version perceived stress scale (CPSS), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS). Result After the intervention, the scores of the observation group by CPSS, SAS and SDS were all significantly lower as compared to those of the control group (all P<0.05). Conclusion Mindfulness therapy can effectively reduce the level of perceived stress in patients undergoing elective surgery and relieve their anxiety and depression , which is conducive to the smooth operation and improvement of the operative quality.
3.Application of HVPG in assessment of chronic liver diseases
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;30(7):612-615
The establishment and perfection of the assessment system for chronic liver diseases have a guiding significance for clinical diag-nosis and treatment.Hepatic venous pressure gradient (HVPG)is of great significance in the progression of chronic liver diseases, and it is the only pathophysiological index for treatment independent of etiology. The current methods for evaluation of chronic liver diseases are sim-ply described, and the application of HVPG in evaluation of chronic liver diseases is systematically summarized, including predicting the se-verity of liver cirrhosis, variceal bleeding risk and outcome of portal hypertension, development of cirrhotic ascites, efficacy of drugs for re-ducing portal hypertension and antiviral drugs, and postoperative outcome of liver cancer. It is thought that HVPG measurement plays an im-portant role in the assessment of the progression and prognosis of chronic liver diseases and is an effective predictor of outcome.
4.The application of Lapatinib in breast cancer and its mechanism of drug resistance
Practical Oncology Journal 2015;(4):376-379
With development of molecular biology, breast cancer has entered an era of molecular classifi-cation,thus making biomarker based personalized medicine is the trend of breast cancer treatment.HER2-posi-tive breast cancer of high invasiveness and bad prognosis accounts for 20%~30%.Targeting HER2,trastuzumab is the first humanized monoclonal antibody which can improve the prognosis of HER2-positive patients and it is recommended by guidelines and expert consensus at home and abroad for anti-HER2 therapy in any stage.How-ever,the cardiotoxicity,de novo resistance and acquired resistance of trastuzumab make the clinician to explore the second line anti-HER2 therapy.Lapatinib is the first FDA approved and HER1,HER2 double-targeting tyrosine kinase inhibitor which can be a better choice after failure with trastuzumab. This article reviews the appli-cation,some clinical and mechanism of drug resistance researches of Lapatinib.
5.Downregulation of actin related protein 2/3 complex subunit 5 inhibits proliferation, migration and invasion of lung squamous carcinoma cell line SK-MES-1
China Oncology 2014;(7):529-534
Background and purpose:Actin related protein 2/3 complex subunit 5 (ARPC5) is involved in the packaging of actin, and then affects the mobility of cells. It plays an important role in the formation of invadopodia of cancer cells. This study aimed to investigate the effect of ARPC5 gene-silence on cell proliferation, migration and invasion of lung squamous carcinoma cell line SK-MES-1. Methods:Under the induction of LipofectamineTM RNAiMAX, the recombinant of si-ARPC5 was transfected into SK-MES-1. The experiment set up 3 groups:blank (mock) group, negative control (NC) group and si-ARPC5 transfected group. Cell proliferation, migration and invasion assays were investigated by cell counting kit(CCK-8) method, scratch assay and Transwell Chambers respectively. Results:The result of qRT-PCR and Western blot displayed downregulation of ARPC5 in mRNA and protein level of SK-MES-1 cell. Proliferation rate of SK-MES-1 cells in 72 h after si-ARPC5 transfection was lower than those in mock and NC groups (t=7.993, t=8.681, P<0.05). Compared to the mock and NC groups, the scratch repairing rate of the si-ARPC5 group was lower [(43.32±0.23)%vs (73.11±0.43)%and (76.58±0.88)%] (t=7.348, t=10.614, P<0.05);And the number of penetrating the membrane was signiifcantly reduced [(27±6) vs (101±11) and (92±9)] (t=10.229, t=8.391,P<0.05). Conclusion:Downregulation of ARPC5 gene can inhibit the proliferation, migration, and invasion of SK-MES-1 cell.

10.Role of Mfn2 in cyclosporine nephropathy
Journal of Chinese Physician 2021;23(2):223-226
Objective:This study aimed to investigate the role of mitochondrial fusion protein 2 (Mfn2) in chronic renal injury caused by cyclosporine A (CSA) and the possible mechanism. Methods:The model of chronic CSA nephropathy was established in rats. The rats were divided into solvent control group, CSA model group and normal control group. Serum creatinine and urinary protein levels were detected. The tubulointerstitial injury was observed by light microscopy. The changes of mitochondrial structure were observed by electron microscope, and the expression of Mfn2 was detected by Western blot. Results:The levels of serum creatinine and urinary protein in CSA model group at 2 and 4 weeks were significantly higher than those in control group and solvent group ( P<0.05). In CSA model group, tubulointerstitial injury was obvious, mitochondria swelling and deformation were found in tubular epithelial cells, and ridge disappeared. Compared with normal control group and solvent control group, the expression of Mfn2 in CSA model group was significantly decreased at 2 and 4 weeks ( P<0.05), and the expression of Mfn2 in CSA model group at 4 weeks was further decreased compared with 2 weeks ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Mfn2 may play an important role in the injury of tubular epithelial cells caused by cyclosporine.
