1.Establishment of neuropathic pain model by transection of L_4 spinal nerve in rats

Objective To establish a neuropathic pain model by transection of L4 spinal nerve in rats.Methods Twenty-eight male SD rats weighing 270-310 g were randomly divided into 3 groups: A experimental group (n = 12) received transection of right L4 spinal nerve; B sham operation group ( n = 8) in which right L4 spinal nerve was exposed but not transected and C control group ( n = 8) received no surgery. The paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) to mechanical stimulation was measured by using modified von Frey test. The response to cold stimulation evoked by applying acetone to the plantar region of hindpaw was measured and scored. The threshold to both noxious mechanical and thermal stimuli was measured once a week for 8 weeks. Results In experimental group the pain threshold to mechanical stimuli (von Frey hair stimulation) and cold stimuli (acetone test) on the operated side were significantly decreased after L4 spinal nerve transection as compared to the baseline values before operation and significantly lower than in sham operation and control groups. There was no significant change in the withdrawal response of the hindpaw to mechanical and cold stimuli after surgery on the unoperated side. Conclusion Hyperalgesia to mechanical and cold stimuli develops after L4 spinal nerve transection on the operated side and lasts more than 8 weeks

3.Determination of Thimerosal of Chondroitin Sulfate Eye Drops in Different Packing Materials by Volt-am-pere Polarography Method

Objective:To establish a volt-ampere polarography method for the determination of thimerosal in chondroitin sulfate eye drops, and study the adsorption of thimerosal in different packing materials. Methods:The hanging mercury drop electrode ( HM-DE) in multi-functional electrode was used and the sample solution was added to potassium chloride-hydrochloric acid buffer solution. Nitrogen deoxygenation time was 200 s, the enrichment time was 60 s, and the equilibrium time was 5 s. The potentiometric scan was performed using a two standard addition method. Results:Thimerosal had a good linear relationship within the range of 0. 01-1. 0 mg· ml-1(r=0. 9990). The detection limit was 1. 78 μg·ml-1 and the average recovery was 99. 1% (RSD=2. 7%, n=9). Conclu-sion:The method is simple and accurate, and suitable for the determination of thimerosal in chondroitin sulfate eye drops. Low-density polyethylene and polypropylene both show obvious adsorption of thimerosal,so chondroitin sulfate eye drops should not be packed in the above packing materials.
4.Effect of Bairui capsule combined with azithromycin in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia and its effect on serum hs-CRP, EC and SIL-2R

Objective To study the curative effect of Bairui capsule combined with azithromycin in treatment of children with mycoplasmal pneumonia and its effect on serum high sensitive C-reactive protein, eosinophil, soluble interleukin-2.Methods 86 patients with mycoplasma pneumonia were enrolled from August 2015 to July 2016 in our hospital.According to the order of admission, the patients were divided into observation group and control group.The control group was treated with azithromycin , and the observation group was treated with Bairui capsule and azithromycin.Clinical efficacy,symptoms and signs of disappearance of time, CRP, EC, SIL-2R and adverse reaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group [90.70% (39/43) vs 67.44% (29/43)](P<0.05).The time of disappearance of lung rales, the disappearance time of cough, the time of fever and the recovery time of X -ray in the observation group were significantly shorter than the control group (P<0.05).The levels of serum hs-CRP, EC and SIL-2R in the observation group were lower than the control group (P<0.05) .There was no significant difference in adverse reaction rate between observation group and control group.Conclusion Bai Rui capsule combined with azithromycin in children with mycoplasma pneumonia can effectively reduce the serum hs-CRP, EC, SIL-2R levels, clinical efficacy is good, low adverse reaction rate.
5.Effect of Danshao Shugan granule combined with metformin in treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver and its effects on lipid and uric acid metabolism

Objective To study the effect of danshao shugan granule combined with metformin in treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver and its effects on lipid and uric acid metabolism.Methods 80 patients of nonalcoholic fatty liver who received therapy from February 2014 to February 2015 in our hospital were selected as research objects.According to random number table,those patients were divided into the observation group (n=40) cases in each group and the control group (n=40).The control group was treated with metformin, while the observation group was treated with danshao shugan granule combined with metformin.Then blood lipid level, FBG, FINS, IR, SUA level, SOD, MDA level, therapeutic effect of two groups after treatment were compared.Results After treatment, TG,TC in observation group was significantly less than the control group (P<0.05); FBG, FINS, IR, SUA levels in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group ( P<0.05 ); SOD level higher than the control group, MDA level significantly less than the control group (P<0.05); The total effective rate of observation group was statistically higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Danshao shugan granule combined with metformin is well for nonalcoholic fatty liver,which can improve the glucose, lipid, uric acid metabolism and insulin resistance, and can protect the liver function.
6.Effect of compound rhubarb gallnut gargle combined with periodontal basic therapy on inflammatory factors in chronic periodontitis

Objective To investigate the compound rhubarb gallnut gargle combined periodontal treatment effect on inflammatory factors in patients with chronic periodontitis.Methods 76 patients with chronic periodontitis from June 2014 to May 2015 in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups,given periodontal treatment as control group,compound rhubarb gallnut gargle combined periodontal treatment as observation group,38 cases in each group,two groups were detected after treatment of gingival crevicular fluid levels of inflammation.Results After treatment,the gingival crevicular fluid of tumor necrosis factor-α(alpha TNF-α),high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and interleukin three(IL-6,IL-1 beta and IL-8)of two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the observation group of inflammatory cytokine levels were significantly lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The gingival index(GI)and gingival bleeding index(SBI)of the two groups were were lower than those before treatment,and the GI and SBI in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of chronic periodontitis,compound rhubarb gallnut gargle combined periodontal basic treatment effect,can significantly reduce the level of inflammation.

Thyroid carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor in the endocrine diseases,with a rising morbidity.As more investigations were made,thyroid stimulating hormone receptor is showed up,and it is believed some contacts are existed between thyroid stimulating hormone receptor and thyroid carcinoma.We believe that making sure of these contacts can help patients in diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis.
8.Treatment of special types of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation using microendoscopic discectomy system via posterior interlaminal approach

Objective To explore the feasibility of the treatment of special types of lumbar disc herniation using microendoscopic discectomy system(MED-Ⅱ) Methods Posterior interlaminal approach microendoscopic discectomy using the MED-Ⅱ was employed in 53 cases of bi-interspace lumbar disc herniation,75 cases of central type lumbar disc herniation,and 9 cases of extraforaminal lumbar disc herniation.Results All the operations were successfully completed with an operation time of(60~110 min) (mean,70 min) and an intraoperative blood loss of 50~130 ml(mean,70 ml).The length of hospital stay was 5~19 days(mean,13 days).The stitches were taken out at 12 days after operation and the sutured wound healed by first intention in all the cases.Follow-up for 3~8 months(mean,5 months) showed no complications.According to the Nakai classification,there were 40 cases of excellent results,11 cases of good results,and 2 cases of fair in the 53 cases of bi-interspace lumbar disc herniation.Of the 75 cases of central lumbar disc herniation,53,17,and 4 cases were endowed excellent,good,and fair results,respectively,and 1 case got a poor result.Of the 9 cases of extraforaminal lumbar disc herniation,the numbers were 6,2,and 1,respectively.(Conclusions) Use of the MED-Ⅱ for the treatment of special types of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation is effective.
9.Clinical significance of high sensitive C-reactive protein and immune function in children with Mycoplasma pneu-moniae pneumonia

Objectives To detect the clinical significance of high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and immune function in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP). Methods 103 children with MPP, 47 cases of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS group), 56 cases of non-systemic inflammatory response syndrome (non-SIRS group) were recruited. 26 healthy children served as the control group. ELISA was used to detect the level of serum hs-CRP, immune in-dexes, IgG, IgA, and IgM, Cellular immune CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+. Results The level of serum hs-CRP、IgG、IgM and CD8+in control group were significantly lower than those in non-SIRS group and SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of IgA、CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+in control group were significantly higher than those in non-SIRS group and SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of serum hs-CRP、IgG in SIRS group were significantly higher than those in non-SIRS group (P<0.05). The level of IgA、CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+in SIRS group were significantly lower than those in non-SIRS group. There was no significant difference in non-SIRS group and SIRS group of IgM and CD8+(P>0.05). The level change of serum hs-CRP were positively related with IgG (r=0.66,P=0.001) and were negatively related with IgA、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+(r=0.79, 0.67, 0.82, P all were<0.05) in chil-dren with MPP. Conclusion Children with MPP have Immunity function( including humoral immunity and cellular immunity) disorder which is related to the disease status. The level of hs-CRP could be an anpation index for the severity and immune func-tion of the children with MPP.
