1.Study on the relationship between serum level of leptin, endothelin and different stages of diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes patients

Objective To evaluate the relationship between serum levels of leptin, endothelin and diabetic retinopathy in type 2 diabetes patients. Methods Leptin, endothelia, FBG, PBG, HBA1C, CHOL, TG and other clinical characteristics were tested in 80 type2 diabetes patients and 30 control case. All diabetes patients were divided into three group: non-diabetic retinopathy (NDR), non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) and proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR) according to the examination results of fundus. Correlations between levels of serum leptin and other parameters were analyzed. Results Plasma level of leptin in the type 2 diabetes with PDR group[(17.41±5.81)μg/L] were higher than that in control, NPDR and NDR group (P<0.01). Plasma level of ET in the type 2 diabetes with PDR group[(80.68±13.57)mg/L] were higher than that in control, NPDR and NDR group (P<0.01). The serum leptin levels were positively correlated with BMI(r=0.468,P<0.01). Conclusions Serum leptin and endothelin levels were elevated in patient with diabetic retinopathy as diabetic retinopathy aggravated and serum level of leptin and endothelin raised.
2.An investigation analysis of prophylactic application of antibiotics in ten types of oral and maxillofacial surgery

Objective:To evaluate the prophylactic application of antibiotics in oral and maxillofacial surgery and to provide a scientific basis for its reasonable use .Methods: The use of prophylactic antibiotics in the oral and maxillofacial surgery was conducted in our hospital from January 2011 to August 2013 based on a retrospective survey , and the conditions and affecting factors were analyzed .Results:The utilization rates of prophylactic antibiotics were respectively 98.9%, 61.8%, and 24.6%, showing a downward trend .But the infection rate of surgical site did not significantly increase , and by Fisher ’ s exact test, the difference was not significant (P>0.05).Surgical site infections (SSI) rates did not rise between using and not using prophylactic antibiotics ( P>0 .05 ) .Conclusion: The use of prophylactic antibiotics is greatly influenced by the policy , and along with the decline in antibiotic usage , SSI have not increased significantly .
3.The impact of organizational commitment and leader-member exchange on nurses' organizational citizenship behavior

Objective The study aimed to explore the relationship between organizational commit ment,leader-member exchange and nurses' organizational citizenship behavior based on an empirical study.Methods A total of 264 nurses recruited from four general hospitals were investigated with the Organizational Commitment Scale,Leader-Member Exchange Scale,and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale.Results Affective organizational commitment and leader-member exchange correlated with every factor of organizational citizenship behavior.Both affective organizational commitment and leader-member exchange predicted the variance of identification with organization 0.29,altruism toward colleagues 0.06,interpersonal harmony 0.09,protecting organizational resources 0.12,and conscientiousness 0.28.Conclusions Affective organizational commitment and leader-member exchange had a positive influence on nurses' organizational citizenship behavior,thus,hospital managers should strengthen nurses' affective organizational commitment and leader-member exchange to promote their organizational citizenship behaviors.
4.Determination of Pantoprazole Sodium Bioadhesive Tablets by HPLC

Objective:To establish a method to determine the contents of pantoprazole sodium bioadhesive tablets. Methods:An HPLC method was adopted. The determination was performed on a HYPERSIL ODS-2 (150 mm × 4. 6 mm, 5μm) column with mobile phase consisting of 0. 01 mol·L-1 dipotassium phosphate solution –methanol (60 ∶40) at the flow rate of 1. 0 ml·min-1 . The de-tection wavelength was set at 289 nm, the column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃ and the sample size was 20 μl. Results:The linear range of pantoprazole sodium was 1. 28-20. 60μg·ml-1,(r=0. 999 8) . The average recovery was 99. 52%(RSD=1. 43%, n=9). Conclusion:The method is simple, accurate and reliable, and can be used for determining the content of pantoprazole sodium bioadhesive tablets.
5.Formulation Optimization and Quality Evaluation of Ferulic Acid Ligustrazine Solid Lipid Nanoparticles

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the formulation of ferulic acid ligustrazine (FATM) solid lipid nanoparticles (FATM-SLN),and conduct the quality evaluation. METHODS:Emulsification ultrasonic method was used to prepare FATM-SLN. Using particle size and entrapment efficiency as indexes,amount of glyceryl monostearate,egg yolk lecithin (PC),poloxamer 188 (P188),and sodium stearate as factors,single factor test and orthogonal test were used to optimize the formulation;and verifica-tion test was conducted. The appearance morphology,distribution of particle size,Zeta potential,stability and in vitro release de-gree of prepared FATM-SLN were investigated. RESULTS:The optimal formulation was as follows as FATM of 10 mg,glyceryl monostearate of 300 mg,PC of 200 mg,P188 of 200 mg,sodium stearate of 10 mg,and purified water of 20 mL. The prepared FATM-SLN showed spherical solid particles,appearance morphology was round,distribution of particle size was 40-800 nm,parti-cle size was 106.23 nm,polydispersity index was 0.254,Zeta potential was -34.8 mV,entrapment efficiency was 73.32%,drug loading was 1.20%;the appearance had no obvious changes within 10 d in 4 ℃(RSD<2%). The drug-release in 0.5-1 h was the fastest,the cumulative release degree reached to 60.47%;it tended to be stable after 8 h,the cumulative release degree reached to 93.46%,and drugs were basically released completely. CONCLUSIONS:FATM-SLN formulation is successfully optimized,and the prepared FATM-SLN has small particle size,high entrapment efficiency and good stability.
7.Analysis on employment directions of the graduates majoring in health service management: A case study of Nanjing Medical University

Objective To understand employment directions and levels of the graduates majoring in health service management, so as to provide reference for talent cultivation and employment guidance for future graduates. Methods Collecting the data of employment directions of 244 graduates from 2014 to 2016 majoring in health service management from Nanjing Medical University and analyzing the dynamic trend of employment directions. Data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0. Results There was no significant dif-ference in the employment rate among graduates from 2014 to 2016. The proportion of female graduates choosing to do postgraduate work in mainland China was 19.7%( 34/173), higher than that of male 12.7% (9/71). The proportion of female graduates choosing directly to work was 65.3% (113/173), lower than that of male 76.1% (54/71), and the differences were statistically significant. The proportion of graduates working in upper first-class hospitals was relatively higher 39.1% (45/115), and the employment rate of that working in non-public general hospitals increased year by year. Conclusion In order to effectively ease the problem of employment imbalance, the related departments of the university should strengthen employment guidance, timely update the mentality about employment among graduates, and abandon the inherent employment orientation of large public hospitals and economically developed areas.
8.A cross-sectional study of mental disorders in Ximeng Wa Autonomous County of Yunnan Province

Objective:To describe the epidemiological characteristics of mental disorders in Ximeng Wa Au-tonomous County and explore psychosocial risk factors of mental disorders. Methods:Two thousand three hundred and eighty one residents aged 1 8 years and over were sampled using multistage sampling in Ximeng Wa Autono-mous County in 2013. All respondents were investigated by face-to-face interview. Mental disorders were screened out by using the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ)and diagnosed according to the International Classification of Diseases Checklist (ICD-10-Checklist)criteria. Results:Life time prevalence of any mental disorder was 19. 86%(419/2110). The lifetime prevalence rates of substance use disorder,anxiety disorder,insomnia,mood disorder, schizophrenia were 12. 99%(274/2110),6. 30%(133/2110),2. 94%(62/2110),2. 32%(49/2110)and 1. 00%(21/2110)respectively. Male (OR=0. 43),older age (35 -49 years,OR=1. 78;50 -64 years,OR=2. 59;≥65 years,OR=3. 5 1 ),unmarried and other marital status (OR=0. 3 1 ),non-Wa and non-Lahu ethnic groups (OR=0. 29)were associated with neurotic,stress-related and somatoform disorders. Male (OR=2. 41),older age (35 -49 years,OR=2. 29;50-64 years,OR=3. 20;≥65 years,OR=4. 58),non-farmer and non-self-employed occupation (OR=0. 41),and non-Wa and non-Lahu ethnic groups (OR=0. 32)were associated with psychoactive substance use disorder. Male (OR =0. 35 ) and order age (≥65 years,OR =3. 05 ) were associated with mood disorders. Conclusion:Lifetime prevalence of any mental disorder,substance use disorders and anxiety disorders are high in Ximeng Wa Autonomous County. Measures should be strengthened against prevalence of mental disorders in ethnic minority areas.
9.The total fluids intake among college students from Hebei Province in spring and summer

Objective:
To analyze the total fluids intake and sources of college students from Hebei in spring and summer, and to provide a scientific reference for appropriate fluids intake in different seasons.
Methods:
Subjects were recruited in a university in Baoding, Hebei Province, and investigations were conducted in April and June 2021. The number of people who completed both spring and summer investigations was 80. Quantitative instruments and 7 day 24 h Fluid Intake Questionnaire were used to investigate the total drinking fluids, and it was recorded for 7 consecutive days in spring and summer respectively. The duplicate portion method was used to investigate the water from food. The total fluids intake and sources among subjects were analyzed in spring and summer.
Results:
There was no statistical significance between the total drinking fluids and total fluids intake between spring and summer [1 141(715), 1 176(649)mL/d, (2 496±604)(2 458±554)mL/d] ( F=1.86, 0.59, P >0.05). Spring showed significantly higher water from food compared with summer [(1 318±274)(1 217±302)mL/d]( F=16.63, P <0.05). The proportions of total drinking fluids and water from food in spring were 46% and 54%, respectively, and both were 50% in summer, the differences were statistically significant ( F=12.97, 12.97, P <0.05). There were differences in total fluids intake,total drinking fluids and water from food of different genders in earch season ( t/Z =4.75, -3.63, 3.44; 4.80, -2.91, 4.01, P <0.05). There were differences in total water intake, total drinking fluids, the proportions of total drinking fluids and water from food of different BMI groups in each season ( F/H =8.08, 16.65, 3.03, 3.03; 7.11,17.97, 4.52, 4.52, P <0.05). In spring, only 13.8% of subjects achieved the recommended total drinking fluids of China, compared with 18.8% in summer. In spring and summer, the total fluids intake, total drinking fluids, the proportions of total drinking fluids in the group achieved the recommendation were all higher than those who did not reach the recommendation ( t/Z =6.64, -5.19, 5.79; 8.12, -5.97, 5.70, P <0.05).
Conclusion
Season is a factor that affects total fluids intake, and it should be taken into account when setting the recommendation on adequate water intake.
10.Knowledge, attitude and practice of drinking water among college students in Hebei Province

Objective:
To understand the knowledge, attitudes and practices of drinking water among college students of Hebei Province, to provide evidence for health education.
Methods:
A total of 715 subjects were selected from a university in Baoding City, Hebei Province in March 2017 by random cluster sampling. Knowledge, attitude and behavior of drinking water among college students were investigated by self-designed questionnaires.
Results:
The awareness rate of water consumption of 1 500-1 700 mL was 19.0%, the awareness rate of drinking modes was 95.0%, the awareness rate of suitable drinking time was 30.1%, the awareness rate on drinking water was higher among girls and medical major sutdents (χ2=22.16, 12.49, P<0.05); the awareness rate on the relationship between insufficient drinking water and stroke, hypertension and coronary heart disease was generally low, with sophornore higher than freshman (χ2=11.10, P<0.05). The most common medium for accessing drinking water knowledge among the respondents was network (60.0%), followed by campus publicity/classroom teaching (48.3%). 99.6% of the respondents believed that drinking water was important to health, 98.3% were willing to change their drinking habits, 93.0% were willing to pay attention to drinking water education, and the proportion of female students was higher than that of male students (χ2=5.46, 6.49, 8.01, P<0.05). In real life, 48.4% of the respondents drank water on an empty stomach in the morning and 40.7% before going to bed. 45.5% of the respondents drank water when they thought of it.
Conclusion
College students in Hebei province are generally lack of appropriate awareness on water drinking, which varied in sex, grade and major. While the attitude towards water drinking is satisfactory, drinking behavior need to be improved.
