Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of combination of echocardiography with electrocardiography for coronary artery lesions(CAL) in Kawasaki disease(KD).Methods Seventy eight children with KD received echocardiographic and electrocardiographic examination.Seventy eight cases were divided into 3 groups according to the results of echocardiogram. Results CAL was discovered in 45 cases and 32 cases with coronary artery dilation, the other 13 cases with coronary artery aneurysm among them.Abnormal electrocardiogram was found in 16 cases.ratio of abnormal electrocardiogram was higher in CAL group than that in normal coronary artery group(P

Objective To observe the clinical effect of extracapsular cataract extraction and implantation of intraocular lens combined with vitreoretinal surgery by samall incisionto to treat cataract merge vitreoretinal disease. Methods A retrospective study was managed on 18 cases(18eyes). Eyesight and complications after operation was study. Result Follow-up period was from 3 months to 18 months( the 8 months on average). The cases of corrected visual acuity less than 0. 02 was 2 eyes, among 0.02 to 0. 1 was 4 eyes, among 0. 2 to 0.3 was 8 eyes, then more than 0.3 was 4 eyes. The complications of surgery included tunicae uveae reaction, cornea reaction, ocular hypertension, vitreous hemorrhage, retinal detachment. Conclusion Extracapsular cataract extraction and implantation of intraocular lens combined with vitreoretinal surgery by small incision was safe and effective to treat Cataract combined with vitrcoretinal disease. The main factor affected the eyesight retrieval was posterior segment pathology.

Objective:To explore the correlation of stress, coping style and the concentration of dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in umbilical blood between preterm birth and normal birth.Methods:46 with preterm birth and 42 normal birth controls were assessed with Life Event Scale (LES) and Defense Style Questionnaire (DSQ) at 28th-week of pregnancy. The concentrations of DHEA-s in umbilical blood were determined by ELISA for the two groups. Results:Of the scales of malignant life events (frequency: 1.24?0.74 vs 1.04?0.03; strength: 56.21?4.03 vs 44.35?1.06)、immature and middle type defense style scales (4.24?0.13 vs 3.55?0.11; 3.86?0.08 vs 3.64?0.06), and DHEA-s (0.72?0.02 vs 0.33?0.03) there were significant difference between preterm birth and normal birth controls (P

Objective To evaluate the significance to detect the Ryanodine receptor (RyR) antibody in the sera of myasthenia gravis (MG) patients. Methods Sarcoplasmic reticulum abound with RyR was extracted by centrifugation, and levels of antibodies in 66 MG patients with thymoma (MGT),98 non-thymoma MG (NTMG) patients,50 non-myasthenia gravis (NMG) patients and 123 normal persons were examined by ELISA-RyR method. Results RyR antibody positive rate of MGT was the highest among MGT,NTMG and NMG groups ( P 0.05).Ages,clinical scores and levels of acetycholine receptor antibodies of patients with RyR antibody positive sera were higher than those with RyR antibody negative sera ( P

Objective To investigate the effect of muscle fatigue on linear and nonlinear dynamics of sEMG from biceps brachii during maximal voluntary isometric contractions.Method Ten young volunteers subjects performed non-fatiguing isometric contractions with four load levels and fatiguing maximal voluntary isometric contractions.Linear and nonlinear analysis were used to examine the sEMG signals and the changes of sEMG signals when MVC decreased to levels of 80% MVC,70% MVC,60%MVC and 50%MVC compared with the signals of sEMG during non-fatiguing contractions.Result Statistical analyses revealed that AEMG and %DET were significantly higher at fatigue states than those at non fatigue states, while MPF and C(n)were significantly lower than those at non fatigue states. With the development of muscle fatigue,MPF and %DET significantly decreased during maximal effort, while AEMG and %DET stayed stable. The interaction of load level and fatigue state for AEMG,MPF and C(n)were significant. Conclusion MPF and C(n)significantly decrease during maximal voluntary isometric contractions.sEMG dynamics between fatigue state and non-fatigue state is significantly different.

Objective To examine the effects of different compositions of metabolic syndrome [Overweight and (or) obesity, hyperglycemia, hypertension, dyslipidemia] on chronic kidney disease. Methods A total of 1552 health data were collected from the survey of chronic kidney diseases among Uygur adults in Moyu country in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the relationship between metabolic syndrome and chronic kidney disease was analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 software package. Results Before and after adjusting of age and gender, the prevalence of metabolic syndrome was 14.18% and 14.45% (95% CI 14.30%?14.60%). The prevalence of albuminuria (7.27% vs 3.83%, χ2=5.42, P=0.02), reduced estimated glomerular filtration rate (9.55% vs 3.45%, χ2=16.96, P=0.00) and chronic kidney disease(13.64% vs 6.76%, χ2=12.52, P =0.00) increased in residents diagnosed as metabolic syndrome than those without metabolic syndrome. The prevalence of chronic kidney disease increased with the increasing number of metabolic syndrome elements. Conclusions The prevalence of chronic kidney disease is associated with the accumulation of metabolic syndrome compositions. Early intervention on metabolic risk factors may reduce the risk of chronic kidney disease.

0.05). The 5-year survival rates were 77.4% in LS group and 75.7% in OS group for stage Ⅰ/Ⅱ (P=0.626), and 71.8% in LS group and 65.6% in OS group for stage Ⅲ(P=0.517), respectively. Conclusion: Long-term effect of laparoscopic resection is similar to that of open resection for colon cancer, but laparoscopic surgery has less long-term complications.
