1.Analysis of non-invasive mechanical ventilation in the treatment of elderly COPD with respiratory failure
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To assess the clinical efficacy of the ventilator treatment of non-invasive mechanical ventilation in the elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) with respiratory failure. Methods:Collected 61 cases from elderly COPD patients with respiratory failure in our hospital,A total of 24 cases for using ventilator-non-invasive mechanical ventilation was the treatment group,A total of 37 cases for not use was the control group,The two groups were similar to medical treatment,Treatment group to the ventilator treatment of non-invasivemechanical ventilation. Results:The outcome of ventilator-non-invasive mechanical ventilation group,20 cases of good tolerance,Only two cases can not be tolerated. After the treatment arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2) and carbon dioxide partial pressure(PaCO2) significantly improved than that before treatment(P0.05);the ventilator-barotrauma or the ventilator-associated pneumonia did not occur. Conclusion:The nasal(facial) mask respirator non-invasive mechanical ventilation is a safety and effective method to treatment of the elderly COPD patients with respiratory failure.

4.The value of oncolysis virus in treating liver cancer

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
The effect of traditional therapy is limited for liver cancer, gene therapy gets more and more recognition in recent years.Oncolysis virus is a kind of conditionally replicating virus, with special reproductivity in cancer cells, and then kills them.Gene agents are usually introduced into tumor tissue by intra-tumor and intra-arterial injection, and the technique of interventional therapy is able to satisfy the demand excellently. So,some breakthrough is expected in treating liver cancer by skillfully combining oncolysis virus and interventional technique
5.Inhibition of human pterygium fibroblasts in vitro by vitamin E succinate
International Eye Science 2006;6(5):984-987
AIM: To study the antiproliferation of vitamin E succinate (VES) on pterygium fibroblasts in vitro and to find a potential agent for prevention and treatment of primary and recurrence pterygium.METHODS: Primary culture and subculture of pterygium fibroblasts were established in vitro ,and different concentrations of VES (0, 10 and 20mg/L) were added to subcultured fibroblasts, respectively. Influence of VES on the growth curve of fibroblast was observed at day 2, 4 and 7 after treatment of VES. 3- [4,5-Dimethylthiazolzyl]-2,5-Diphenyl Tetrazolium Bromide (MTT) assay at 490nm was used to evaluate the effect of the cells proliferation.RESULTS: The addition of VES to culture caused the marked descent of growth curve in comparison with the control group, and the inhibiting rate of 10 and 20mg/L of VES was 33.2% and 46.7%, 67.9%, and 76.8%, 81.7% at day 2,4 and 7, respectively. VES could obviously inhibit the fibroblast proliferation in dose-dependent manner by MTT assay.CONCLUSION: VES can significantly inhibit the proliferation of pterygium fibroblast in vitro.
6.Mental therapy of women perimenopausal period syndrome
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(7):430-431
Objective To observe curative effect of mental therapy on women perimenopausal period syndrome. Methods 100 patients with perimenopausal period syndrome were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 50 cases in each group. Patients of the treatment group were treated by Cryzanolam, Surazepam, etc,and mental therapy was given simultaneously twice one week. Patients of the control group were treated only by drugs. The period of treatment was four weeks. The curative effect was assessed by SCL-90 symptom self evaluation scales. Results Several factors and total average points of two groups' SCL-90 all dropped, and there was significant difference between two groups after therapy (P<0.01). For patients of the treatment group, clinic symptoms were markedly abated after treatment (P<0.05), and average scores of several factors were not significantly different from normal adults (P>0.05). Conclusion The mental therapy can remit symptoms of women perimenopausal period syndrome effectively and improve their healthy.

Objective To explore the effect of osthole on mast cells and expression of STAT5 gene and protein in them. Methods Passive cutaneous anaphylaxis was made in mice to copy eczema model, then the allergic mast cells were separated, and the ovalbumin was used to induce allergy of mast cells. Different concentrations of osthole were used to intervene the sensitized mast cells. Then the sensitized mast cells were divided into blank control group, osthole high-dose group and low-dose group. At the end of the experiment, morphology of the mast cells was detected by immunofluorescence technology.MTT assay was used to detect the influence of drugs on mast cells proliferation. RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the expression of STAT5 gene and protein. Results As compared with blank control group, the number of mast cells in the osthole groups was significantly reduced, cells and nuclei obviously shrank, even apoptosis of some cells could be observed; the inhibition rate of mast cells in osthole groups was significantly increased in concentration-dependent manner ( P<0. 01 ) . As compared with blank control group (2.16±0.57), gene expression of STAT5 was significantly decreased in osthole high-dose group (0.59±0.12) and low-dose group (0.82±0.13) (P<0.01).The protein expression of STAT5 was also significantly decreased in osthole high-dose group and low-dose group as compared with blank control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Osthole can inhibit the proliferation of sensitized mast cells, and reduce the expression of STAT5 gene and protein.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2013;29(12):1018-1020
Twenty-nine thyroid tissue samples were collected from patients with thyroid nodules. The total RNA were extracted, the gene expressions of TFF3,HMGA2,C1orf24,and DDIT3 were detected by RT-PCR.In comparison with normal thyroid tissues, the expression of C1orf24 mRNA was decreased in the follicular thyroid adenoma (FTA) group, but increased in the follicular thyroid carcinomas (FTC) group. The expressions of DDIT3 and HMGA2 mRNA were increased in both FTA and FTC groups, and were even higher in the latter. The expressions of TFF3 mRNA level were decreased in FTA and FTC.The data suggested that molecular markers C1ort24,DDIT3,HMGA2,and TFF3 in thyroid tissue seem to be helpful in the differential diagnosis between follicular adenomas and carcinomas.
