Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2015;29(9):865-868
Whether the sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis has important clinical significance for the therapy and prognosis of tumor. Sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) has became the most accurate clinical method to confirm the status of sentinel lymph node. And the key of the success of SLNB is the localization of SLN. The methods used to locate SLN mainly are blue dye tracer method, radionuclide tracer technique, blue dye tracer method combined with radionuclide tracer technique, indirect lymphography, NIR imaging, and photoacoustic imaging. This article demonstrates the principle, application method and contrast agents of the indirect lymphography and the application in head and neck tumor.

Objective To investigate the positive rates of HBsAg and abnormal rates of Alanine aminotransferase among high school graduates in Jingjiang city. Methods HBsAg were detected by ELISA and ALT was detected by rate assay among 20 988 high school graduates during 2004—2007 in Jingjiang city. Results The HBsAg positive students were 1754.The total positive rate of HBsAg was 8.36%.The positive rate of HBsAg of male(9.46%)was higher than that of female(6.95%).The HBsAg positive rate of rural students(9.44%)was higher than that of urban students(7.28%).HBsAg positive rates of urban students showed a decreasing trend during 2004—2007,the rates were 9.31%,8.08%,6.74% and 5.24%,respectively(P0.05).There were 155 cases(8.4%)with increased ALT among 1754 HBsAg positive students. Conclusion The total positive rate of HBsAg among high school graduates in Jingjiang city from 2004—2007 was 8.36%.The HBsAg positive rate of male students was higher than that of female. The HBsAg positive rate of rural students was higher than that of urban students.8.4% students were found ALT abnormal. We should intensify Hepatitis B vaccine in time to prevent the spreading of HBV.

Objective: To study the mandibular bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) with bicortical screws rigid internal fixation(RIF) with the three-dimensional finite element method, and supply directions for clinic practice. Methods:CT scanned technology and the finite element software (Ansys) were used to establish the three-dimensional finite element model of BSSRO with bicortical screws RIF. The stress distribution of the mandible and the RIF and the displacement of split mandible were calculated under three kind of occlusion situation. Results:Under the same kind of occlusion situation, the stress and displacement of the split mandible with single upper screws fixation was higher than that with the reverse "L" screws fixation, the stress and displacement of the split mandible with 2.0 mm diameter screws fixation was higher than that with 2.7 mm diameter screws fixation. With the same kind of fixation method, the stress and the displacemen of the mandible under the incisor occlusion was the highest. Conclusion:The fixation distance, position, distribution angle of the bicortical screws all have effects on the fixation stability. The patient should avoid the incisor occlusion after the surgery.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(01):-
Objective To study the effects of marrow mesenchymal stem cells on heart functions and ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction in rats. Methods Myocardial infarction model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) in adult SD rats. 4 and 8 weeks after MMSCs implantation, hemodynamic evaluations, left ventricular weight/body weight ratio and heart weight/body weight ratio were determined. HE staining was performed for counting microvasculars and Van Gieson staining was used for measurements and calculation of the myocardial fibrillar collagen. Then we investigated the migration and evolution of MSCs in vivo by fluorescent microscope. Results HR was significantly decreased in transplantation MMSCs group. Eight weeks after transplantation, body weight in transplantation MMSCs group reached that of control group. At the same time,SBP,DBP and MBP were significantly increased in transplantation MMSCs group. HR was significantly decreased in transplantation MMSCs group. Secondly, left ventricular weight/body weight ratio and heart weight/bodyweight ratio were significantly decreased 4 weeks after transplantation MMSCs. Then the ratio was significantly decreased 8 weeks after transplantation MMSCs. Thirdly density of microvasculars was increased at the boundary of infarction site in the animals transplanted MMSCs. Finally, total volume of the myocardial fibrillar collagen was reduced in the MMSCs treated groups after MI. Conclusion Transplanting MMSCs can improve the ventricular remodeling and heart functions in acute MI rat models.

Objective:To study the inhibitory effect of allogeneic natural killer(NK) cells on subcutaneously transplanted human multi-drug resistant nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells(CNE2/DDP) in BALB/c nude mice. Methods:Human leucocyte antigen(HLA) genotypes of CNE2/DDP cells and the genotypes of inhibitory killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor(KIR) in NK cells(isolated from 3 healthy persons by immuno-magnetic microbead technique) were analyzed by PCR-SSP.Twelve BALB/c nude mice were evenly divided into 2 groups:the control group and the treatment group.Mice in the treatment group were injected subcutaneously with 1?106 CNE2/DDP cells together with 3?107 NK cells via the tail veins;mice in the control group were injected with 1?106 CNE2/DDP cells subcutaneously. The tumor formation time, tumor formation rate and changes of tumor size were observed.Three weeks after tumor formation, all the mice were killed and human NK cells in peripheral blood were analyzed by flow cytometry;the tumors were weighed and the tumor inhibitory rates were calculated. Results:The HLA genotypes of CNE2/DDPcells were A2,24,B18,35,Cw4,and 7;the KIR genotypes of the 3 healthy persons were KIR2DL1,KIR2DL3,KIR3DL1,and KIR3DL2.There were mismatches between the KIRs expressed in NK cells and HLA class Ⅰ molecules expressed in the CNE2/DDP cells.NK cells obviously inhibited the growth of CNE2/DDP xenograft in nude mice. The tumor formation periods of control group and NK cell group were(17.17?1.17) d and(24.83?1.47) d,respectively(P

Objective To study the effect of fish oil on calcium oxalate kidney stone formation. Methods The efficacy of unprocessed fish oil in the treatment of 20 hypercakiuric patients with urinary stones was evaluated, after administration of fish oil at dosage of 3000mg daioy of one week. Results Excretion of urinary calcium reduced significantly from (461.37?80.67)mg/d to (312.63?40.57)mg/d.The Mg2+ reduced from (136. 41?56. 12) mg/d to (108.43?18.96) mg/d. The Mg2+ /Ca2+ increased significantly from (0.29?0.08) to ( 0. 36?0.11)-Uric acid remained unchanged. Conclusion Unprocessed fish oil is safe and effective for the reduction of urinary calcium and might be used for the prevention of calcium stone recurrence.
