Optical positioning system has a wide range of application in many fields. This paper presents an optical positioning method which combines linear and plane cameras. 1-D image signal of linear camera is used to get 1-D coordinates of the targets, which can be processed quickly. We can use it to assist processing the 2-D image signals of plane camera under some constraints. Linear camera can reduce the amount of position searching and calculation in coordinates extracting of targets in 2D image, and it can also help identify multiple targets. The results showed that our method could reach an accuracy of 1.608 mm, which was about one thousandth of the measurable range, and the reconstruction time for 4 targets without geometric constraints is 23.87 ms, namely 41.9 fps.

Objective To discuss the relativity between serum procalcitonin(PCT) level and renal impairment (RI) in critically ill patients. Methods A perspective study was performed in 60 critically ill patients. They were divided into 2 groups on the serum PCT level within 24 h: abnormal group (PCT ≥ 0.5 μg/L,38 cases) and normal group(PCT < 0.5 μg/L,22 cases). The serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were observed. Acute physiology and chronic health evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ ) of the patients were recorded. Calculated the sensitivity and specificity for prediction of RI as well as acute renal dysfunction (ARD). Results SCr [(188.91 ± 199.48) μmol/L]and BUN [(13.03 ±9.19)mmol/L]in abnormal group were significantly higher than those in normal group [(67.40 ± 15.35) μ mol/L and (6.91 ± 2.06) mmol/L](P< 0.01). The sensitivity of PCT forecast RI was 71.79%, and specificity was 52.38%. The sensitivity of PCT forecast ARD was 91.67% , and negative predictive value was 95.45%. Conclusion Serum PCT level has an important value for judgement of RI and ARD in critically ill patients.

Objective To explore the maternal toxicity and offspring's neurobehavioral effects in Wistar rats induced by exposure to methylmercury during pregnancy. Methods Methylmercury were continuously orally perfued with different doses of 0.00, 0.01, 0.05 and 2.00 mg/(kg?d) to 52 pregnant Wistar rats during the 6th～9th day after conception. The toxicity to maternal rats was observed and general teratology test were carried out. The parameters of physical and neurobehavioral develpment at early stage of 205 offspring were measured and the operant behavior test of 32 offspring was carried out at the age of 10 weeks. The brain's morphology and the levels of monamine neurotransmitter were tested in 24 maternal rats after 5 weeks of the delivery and 24 offspring in 10 weeks old. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of levothyroxine on the follicular helper T lymphocyte level of patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. METHODS:51 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis were selected as levothyroxine group,and another 30 healthy people were control group. Levothyroxine group was orally given 25-50 ug Levothyroxine sodium tablet,once a day,the dose was adjusted based on thyroid function,and the dose maintained when thyroid function turned normal,for continuous 90 d. Free triiodothyronine(FT3),free thyroxine(FT4),thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)and the percentage of Th17 cells account-ed for peripheral blood CD4+ T cells(Th17/CD4+)in levothyroxine group before and after treatment were observed and compared with control group,the correlation of Th17/CD4+ and thyroid function. RESULTS:After treatment,Th17/CD4+ level in levothyrox-ine group were significantly lower than before and higher than control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). TSH in levothyroxine group were significantly lower than before,FT3 and FT4 were significantly higher than before,the differenc-es were statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with control group,the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05). Th17/CD4+ showed positive correlation with thyroid function in levothyroxine group. CONCLUSIONS:Levothyroxine can signifi-cantly reduce the Th17/CD4+ and TSH,increase FT3 and FT4,and Th17/CD4+ is involved in the occurrence and progression of Hashimoto's thyroiditis.

Based on M9 culture medium,the concentration of ingredients of culture medium was optimized for the fermentation of pNSR32/BL21(DE3),the engineering bacterial with spider silk protein,and lactose as an inducer.The condition of optimum culture medium was obtained for the expression of the high molecular weight recombinant spider silk protein by using orthogonal and individual factor experimental design.The result was showed that the optimum culture medium was consisted of 0.3% glycerol,3% yeast,0.75% tryptone,0.05%(NH_4)_2SO_4 and a little inorganic salt_.It was confirmed that the optimum culture medium will benefit the growth of bacterial and expression of recombinant spider silk protein.The production level of propose protein will attain at 20% of the total proteins in the fermentation.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of repeated endoscopic sclerotherapy injection(ESI) and endoscopic variceal ligation(EVL) in eradication of esophageal varices among patients who survive an episode of first variceal hemorrhage with a high risk of rehaemorrhagia and death. Methods The correlated literatures were identified from Medline,Embsae,the Library Cochrance,PubMed and CNKI.RevMan 4.2 Software provided by the Library Cochrance was used for data analysis. Results A total of 4 randomized controlled trials were included.It was demonstrated that there was no significant difference in the esophageal varices eradication rate between repeated ESI and EVL(OR=0.75,95%CI: 0.48-1.15;P=0.19).However,the rehaemorrhagia rate of EVL after emergency hemostasis was significantly lower than that of ESI(OR=2.19,95%CI:1.44-3.31;P=0.000 2).Meanwhile,there was no significant difference in mortality between ESI and EVL(OR=1.34,95%CI:0.82-2.17;P=0.24).Little publication bias was found with funnel plot analysis. Conclusion EVL outperforms ESL in prevention of rehaemorrhagia in treatment of esophageal varices,while does no better than ESL in eradication of esophageal varices and mortality.

BACKGROUND:Spiral acetabular prosthesis has good stability during total hip arthroplasty.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the early therapeutic effect of Zweymüler spiral acetabular prosthesis in total hip arthroplasty for patients with developmental dysplasia of the hip.
METHODS:Totaly 38 patients (48 hips) with developmental dysplasia of the hip received total hip arthroplasty with Zweymüler spiral acetabular prosthesis from January 2011 to June 2013 were selected. The clinical effect was observed after the operation.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: A total of 38 patients were folowed up for 21-46 months (averagely 42.3 months). One case suffered from deep venous thrombosis. Harris scores and Charnely scores apparently increased after surgery compared with that before surgery. The mean length of the osteotomy was 2.42±0.48 cm, and the mean extended length of the affected limb was 4.58±1.15 cm. X-ray films showed that there was no disunion of the osteotomy, no subsidence and loosening of prosthesis. The position of the acetabulum was suitable. The healing time of bone graft was 3-11 months (averagely 5.3 months). The coverage of the acetabular component was 92.5%, with a good initial stability, and the excelent rate of the operation was 90%. The satisfaction rate of patients was 84%. These results indicate that the Zweymüler spiral acetabular prosthesis has the advantages of reasonable design, good initial stability, low loosening rate and high satisfaction degree. However, the number of cases of this study was relatively smal, the folow-up time was short, and only the short-term effect was evaluated. Thus, the midterm and long-term effects need to be observed by the folow-up evaluation.

Platelet function testing is essential for the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke.Only simple and convenient method of platelet function testing can become the conventional detection method for patients with ischemic stroke and can be used to the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke in clinical practice.
