OBJECTIVE:To investigate the preparation technic and method of quality control of Xinyoukexing tincture(XYKX) METHODS:To determine the content of Valaciclovir by spectrophotography,and podophyllotoxin by dual-wavelength spectrophotography RESULTS:In the range of 14 88～34 72?g/ml,the Valaciclovir concentration in XYKX was in direct proportion to the absorption at 310 4nm,C=44 5 905A+1 7 556,r=0 9 998 In the range of 17 50～50 12?g/ml,the podophyllotoxin concentration in XYKX was in direct proportion to the absorption at 292nm,C=97 7 981Ap292+1 3 614,r=0 9 999,AP292=As292-As325 CONCLUSION:The preparation technic of XYKX is simple and the method of quality control is feasible

AIM:To compare the operation effect of 2. 2mm micro incision and 3. 0mm incision coaxial phacoemulsification.
METHODS: Patients with age - related cataract ( 90 cases, 90 eyes) were enrolled in the study from January 2012 to June 2013 in our hospital, and they were randomly divided into 2 groups:2. 2mm incision group (45 eyes of 45 cases), 3.0mm incision group (45 eyes of 45 cases). Corneal tunnel incision coaxial phacoemulsification was performed. At 1d, 1wk, 1, 3mo after operation, the visual acuity, corneal endothelial cell count, central corneal thickness, operation astigmatism were recorded.
RESULTS:One day after operation, the visual acuity of 2. 2mm incision group were significantly improved, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0. 05 ), there were no differences in two groups at 1wk, 1, 3mo after operation. No significant differences between the two groups of corneal endothelial cell counting, central corneal thickness at 1wk, 1, 3mo after operation were observed(P>0. 05). Operation source astigmatism had statistically significant difference at 1d, 1wk, 1, 3mo after operation ( P< 0. 05 ), it decreased significantly in the 2.2mm incision group.
CONCLUSION: The 2. 2mm small incision coaxial phacoemulsification with postoperative visual acuity improved more significantly, can significantly reduce the operation astigmatism.

Objective To evaluate the effect of three diamension-digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA) or computed tomography angiography (CTA) on the patients with ruptured multiple intmcranial aneurysm (MIA). Methods A retrospective study on 21 patients with MIA was performed.After scanning with 3D-DSA or 3D-CTA, three-dimensional reconstruction of MIA was carried out by 3D workstation,then the diagnosis was decided and the treatment plan (endovascular treatment or microsurgery) was selected according to stereoscopic image of MIA. Results (1) 3D-DSA or CTA was performed in 21 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH),it was revealed these patients carried with 48 aneurysms,including 35 small aneurysms (25 mm).Not only miero-aneurysms and small aneurysms could be precisely showed,also the size of aneurysmal neck,the relationship of the aneurysm and the parent vessel and contiguous branches by stereoscopic image.(2) According to the standard of classification,9 patients with MIA for gradeⅠ(42.9%),10 for gradeⅡ(47.6%),2 for gradeⅢ(9.5%),0 for gradeⅣ.Endovascular treatment was selected prior to microsargery for those high grade patients.In this group,17 patients with 40 aneurysms underwent endovascular embolotherapy with GDC coils.Twenty four anemysms were completely occlusioned,12 beyond 90%,4 were left without treatment because of their small size.In microsurgery group,3 aneurysrus were totally clipped,1 could not be found during operation.No any treatment was accepted in 2 patients with 4 aneurysms. Conclusions 3D-DSA or CTA,which is very useful for the diagnosis and treatment of MIA,could improve the accuracy of diagnosis of MIA and clearly show the stereoscopic image of MIA,also the relation of sac and parent artery.For those patients with high grade MIA,endovascular treatment was selected prior to microsurgery,pro re nata,used to combine with mierosurgery.

Treatment based on syndrome differentiation is an essential feature of traditional Chinese medical diagnosis. The interventions based on changes of syndrome types in randomized controlled trials are complicated, leading to the difficulty of blind method enforcement. This article described a double-blind method. It could be used in randomized controlled trials under the condition of different syndrome types and different medications. It numbered drugs in two stages, and in two phases to achieve double-blind. This method not only guaranteed investigators and subjects to be in blinded conditions, but also achieved using different medications for patients of different syndromes. It also caused no drug waste. It was scientific and feasible.

OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Yishen Jiedu Recipe (YSJDR) in retarding the course of chronic renal failure (CRF).

METHODSForty-five patients were divided into two groups, the 22 patients in Group A were treated with low-protein diet and blood pressure controlling therapy only, while the 23 patients in Group B were treated with additional YSJDR. The time (month) for doubling serum creatinine (SCr) level was taken to evaluate the speed of CRF progression.

RESULTSIn Group A, the time for SCr increased from 288.4 +/- 96.7 mumol/L to 586.3 +/- 251.3 mumol/L was 16.7 +/- 5.1 months, while in Group B the time for SCr increased from 291.2 +/- 101.2 mumol/L to 589.6 +/- 257.5 mumol/L was 28.2 +/- 8.7 months. Comparison between the two groups showed significant difference (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONOn the basis of low-protein diet and blood pressure controlling therapy, the additional treatment of YSJDR could markedly retard the progression speed of CRF.

The spores suspension of Streptomyces roseosporus D-38 irritated with 20mW He-Ne laser for 20 min were incubated on G1 medium plates containing 1. 9?g/mL of streptomycin. Ten percent of mutants increased the potency of daptomycin by streptomycin-resistance method, including the mutant LC-54, which could produce daptomycin 81. 2 mg/L, which was 39% higher than that of the beginning strain by flask fermentation.

The secondary structure of the protein of DM0 and DMT in Oreochromis aureus were predicted by the methods of Garnier-Robson, Chou-Fasman and Karplus-Schulz based on the amimo acid sequences of DM0 and DMT. And Hydrophilicity plot, Surface probability and Antigenic index for DM0 and DMT protein were obtained by the methods of Kyte-Doolittle, Emini and Jameson-Wolf, respectively. Combined the results according to these methods, the B cell epitopes for DM0 and DMT protein were predicted. The results demonstrated that there were some centers of?-helix in the DM0 protein' s N- terminal No. 80 - 112, 144 -147, 193- 194, 251 - 255, 260 - 269 and No. 279- 283, and in the DMT protein' s N-terminal No. 61 -86, 98 - 105, 140 - 146, 239 -241 and No. 269 -273. And there are some centers of?-sheet in the DM0 protein' s N-terminal No. 59 -61, 69 -70, 148 - 150 and No. 383 -390, and in the DMT protein's N-terminal No. 125 -129, 207-213, 255-264 and No. 281-284. Furthermore, the DMO protein' s N-terminal No. 40-41,44 -45, 50-51, 128-129, 189-192, 204-207, 216-222, 226-233, 244-246, 298 - 299 and No. 323 -326, and the DMT protein' s N-termianl No. 12 - 13, 26 - 27, 43 - 44, 58 - 60, 93 - 95, 115 - 120, 136 -139 and No. 149 -151 may be the flexible regions. Moreover the B-cell epitopes possibly localized in or nearby the DMO protein's 1 -5, 41 -51, 65-67, 86-89, 98-110, 154-170, 183-203, 205 -248, 258-264, 284 - 291, 293 - 298, 270 - 375, 389 - 392 and No. 402 - 410, and DMT protein' s N-termianl No. 1 - 9, 17 - 28, 77 - 84, 114 - 123 , 131 - 139, 157 - 184 and No. 96 - 207. Theses results are helpful for studies on sex control mechanism of DMO and DMT in Oreochromis aureus.

Objective To establish a method of automatic analysis of iodide in drinking water.Methods In accordance with the principles of the National Standard Methods Standard Testing Methods for Dringking Water (GB 5750-2006),the reagent concentration and the ratio of dosage were optimized; the national standard artificial colorimetric detection of iodide in drinking water was substituted by automatic biochemical analyzer colorimetric analysis procedure; the accuracy and the precision of the new method were observed and compared with the National Standard Methods.Results In determination of iodide in drinking water by using automatic biochemical analyzer,the best linear ranges of the standard curve:low concentrations 0-＜ 50 μg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.999 1,and the detection limit was 0.4 μg/L; at high concentrations of 50-500 μg/L the correlation coefficient was 0.999 3,and the detection limit was 4.0 μg/L.The coefficient of variation was 2.2％-4.2％ and the recovery was between 98.6％-1035％.Compared with the National Standard Methods,the difference was not statistically significant (t =0.97-1.70,all P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions The method of determination of iodide in drinking water by using automatic biochemical analyzer is successfully established.The accuracy and the precision of the method can meet the quality requirements of water quality analysis.

Objective:To compare serum level of β thromboglobulin in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated different complications.Methods:According to their complications,a total of 398 patients with unsta- ble angina pectoris (UAP)were divided into pure UAP group (UAP control group,n=82),hypertension group (n=89),diabetes mellitus (DM)group (n=133)and brain infarction group (n=94).Serum level of β thromboglobu- lin were measured and compared among four groups 6h after onset and before discharge.Incidence of myocardial in- farction within six months were followed up in four groups.Results:On 6h after onset,the serum level of β throm- boglobulin of brain infarction group,DM group,hypertension group,UAP control group was (61.13±3.32)ng/ml,(59.77±3.15)ng/ml,(52.12±3.27)ng/m, (48.55±3.14)ng/ml respectively,in which the level of brain infarction group was the highest,the difference between any two groups were significant (P<0.01 all);Compared with 6h after onset,there were significant reductions in serum levels of β thromboglobulin of four groups before dis- charge P<0.01 all,their ordering and difference significant degree were no change.The incidence of myocardial infarction (MI)in brain infarction group,DM group,hypertension group,UAP control group was 11.7%,6.0%, 3.4%,2.4% respectively,the MI incidence of brain infarction group was significant more than that of UAP con- trol group,the differences among other groups was no significant,P>0.05.Conclusion:β-thromboglobulin level during UAP onset is significant higher than that of remission period,and it rises most significantly in brain infarction group,and in this group the percentage of myocardial infarction occurred within six months is highest
