2.Nutritional assessment of patients with common abdominal carcinoma
International Journal of Surgery 2015;42(4):280-284
It is considered that cancer-related malnutrition is caused by the imbalance of the nutritional consumption of patients, the tumor itself and the nutrient available internal.Patients with abdominal neoplasm have a great risk of getting malnutrition, which is resulting from the changes of their biochemical status, clinical symptoms and the impacts by surgery. In 1980s,people began to realize that it is important to assess the nutritional status of patients and now so do the most of doctors.Until now, there is some acceptable assessment questionnaire,by using which,we find that a large proportion of patients with abdominal cancer have malnutrition, and when it comes to different kind of abdominal cancer, the rate is not same.

4.Effects of Lycii Cortex on express of PI3K/PKB in PCOS rats.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(10):2004-2008
The effect of Lycii Cortex on the PCOS rat model and the mechanism of action were investigated in the present study. The PCOS rat model was induced with Poretsky methods. Then the rats were randomly divided into four groups: the model group, melbine group (0.45 g x kg(-1)), low (2.5 g x kg(-1) and high (10 g x kg(-1)) dosage group of Lycii Cortex. The animals were orally administrated with the drugs for 14 days. In addition, another control group was added in this study. The rats were weighted before and after drug treatment. After 14 days treatment, oestrous cycle of rats were detected; blood serum was separated to determine T and FINS and rat's uteri were isolated. The mRNA and protein (total and phosphorylated) expressions of PI3K and PKB in uteri were measured with Real-time RT-PCR and Western blot, respectively. Compared with the control rats, the body weight gain and serum level of T and FINS were significantly increased. While, the mRNA and protein (phosphorylated) levels of PI3K and PKB were markedly decreased in PCOS group. Lycii Cortex treatment significantly decreased the body weight gain and serum level of T and FINS in a dose-dependant manner. It also markedly increased the mRNA and protein (phosphorylated) expressions of PI3K and PKB. Meanwhile, the melbine treatment also showed the curative effect. Lycii Cortex can relieve the symptoms of PCOS and the mechanism might be related to PI3K/PKB pathway.

International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2009;30(9):838-840
Objective To detect the genotypes of human papillomaviral infection(HPV)in 970 women who were suspicious as HPV infection, and to investigate its clinical significance. Methods Cervical cast-off cells were acquired with the special cervix brush. DNA hybridization technique was applied to detecting HPV genotypes in 970 clinical specimens. Results Totally 390 case(40.2%) were HPV positive among 970 clinical specimens. A total of 12 subtypes were detected. In 390 cases of HPV infection,260 cases (26.8%) were infected with single HPV subtype, and while 130 cases(13.4%) were with infection of two or above HPV subtypes. HPV6 and 11 were the most frequent low-risk sub-types,and in the high-risk subtypes,HPV16,33,52,58 and 18 were dominant. Conclusion The cervix HPV infection rate is considerable in women in Wuxi area. HPV6 and 11 are the most frequent sub-types. The determination of HPV genotypes plays all important role in early discovery, prevention and treatment of gential tract and cervical cancer.

Aim To evaluate the bioequivalence of demestic brodimoprim capsules and imported hyprim tablets and provide experimental basis for clinical application. MethodsA single dosage of Brodimoprim or hyprim was given to 18 healthy volunteers in a randomized 2-way cross-over test and the brodimoprim concentrations in plasma were determined by HPLC with β-naphtol as internal standard. The pharmacokinetic parameters and the relative bioavailability of the two preparations were calculated and their bioequivalence was evaluated. ResultsThe major pharmacokinetic parameters of test and reference preparations were as follows respectively:t1/2(α) (2.1 + 1.0) and (1.9+± 0.9) h, t1/3(β)(43.2±4.8) and (42.4±4.3)h, Tpeak(3.4±1.6) and (3.1±1.5) h,Cmax(5.9+ 0.9) and (5.9±1.0)μg · ml-1, AUC0~132(360.2± 55.3) and (358.7±52.6) μg · h · ml-1, AUC0~∞ (423.8±56.0) and (422.5±51.1) μg · h · ml-1. The relative bioavailability(F) of brodimprim capsules was (99.7± 4.8)%。 Conclusion . The multi-factorial analysis of variance showed that there was no significant difference in AUC0- 132between the test and reference preparations (P> 0.05) . The bioequivalent assumption was proved by further two one-side t-test and (1~2 α) confidence interval analysis in individuals, periods and forms of these two preparations.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(10):-
Objective To investigate the relationship between the impairment of immunity and the level of NO in peripheral blood in patients with persistent vegetative state(PVS) resulting from severe brain trauma. Methods The levels of the cortisol and NO in peripheral blood of 12 PVS patients and the control group were tested respectively by radioimmunoassay and nitratase reducing colorimetic method. The phagocytosis and killing of Candida albicans by monocytes were observed. Results The NO content in peripheral blood of PVS group was dropped obviously, but the cortisol level was basically in normal range. Conclusion The suppression of immunity of PVS patients resulted from severe head trauma is related to the decreasing of the NO content in peripheral blood.

0.15) was 81%(17/21) and the clinical improvement of symptoms was achieved in 95%(20/21) of cases. The 17 cases were followed up for a mean of 15.7 months(range,12~35 months). One patient died of cerebral infarction at 6 months postoperatively. One patient with stent occlusion at 3 months after operation was given an embolectomy(the artery has remained patent for 13 months).Stent occlusion also happened in 2 patients(at 3 and 4 months after operation, respectively),on whom a subsequent infragenicular femoropopliteal bypass was operated, and in 2 other patients(at 8 and 12 months after operation, respectively),on whom a below-knee amputation was operated. At one year postoperatively, the patency rate was 75%(15/20) after primary operation and 80%(16/20) after re-operation.The rate of clinical improvement of symptoms was 75%(15/20).The limb salvage rate in patients with critical limb ischemia was 88%(14/16).Conclusions Primary angioplasty with self-expending nitinol stent implantation is a safe, minimally invasive, and effective method, which can be used as the first choice for femoral arterial occlusive diseases, especially in senile patients who cannot tolerate bypass procedures.
