1.Observation of improved extra panretinal photocoagulation for high risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy
International Eye Science 2016;16(7):1322-1324
AIM: To observe the therapeutic effect and safety of improved extra panretinal photocoagulation ( E - PRP) in the treatment of high risk proliferative diabetic retinopathy (hsPDR).
METHODS: A total of 88 consecutive cases (102 eyes) with hsPDR were diagnosed by fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA) from February 2011 to December 2014 in our hospital . Fifty two eyes had been treated by improved E - PRP with 532nm frequency - doubled laser. Fifty eyes had been treated by standard PRP. All cases were checked by FFA and fundus photocoagulation every 3mo. Patients with persisting neovascularization or non perfusion area were treated with laser again. All cases were followed up 6-36mo.
RESULTS: The postoperative visual acuity had no statistical difference between two groups ( P > 0. 05). In improved E - PRP group, retinal non perfusion area and neovascularization disappeared in 35 eyes ( 67%). Effective rate was 88%. Six eyes (12%) underwent pars plana vitrectomy because of vitreous hemorrhage, fiberosis and stretched retinal detachment. In standard PRP group, retinal nonperfusion area and neovascularization disappeared in 23 eyes ( 46%). Effective rate was 66%. Seventeen eyes(34%) underwent pars plana vitrectomy because of anterior retina bleeding or vitreous hemorrhage. The rate of neovascularization disappeared and effective rate had statistical difference between two groups (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: It is a safe and effective methods to treat hsPDR by improved E-PRP and it was more effective than traditional PRP.
3.Isolation,Identification and Characterization of a Methanotrophic Strain
Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
Strain QJ16,one of some methanotrophic bacteria isolated from soil samples utilizing the separate device designed by our laboratory;was studied in detail and identified as one of the Genus methylomonas through 16S rDNA sequencing and comparison. The culturing and reaction conditions for methane utilization of this strain were investigated. The results indicated that the optimal conditions for the growth of strain QJ16 were methane gas as carbon source and the coexistence of NH4Cl and KNO3 as nitrogen source, the cultivation temperature of 30℃ and medium initial pH 6~7,and the optimal Cu2+ concentration of 15 ?mol/L.

China Pharmacist 2015;18(10):1638-1642
Objective:To explore novel compounds with anti-EV71 activity. Methods: A series of oligopeptides were designed based on the active groove of the EV71 3C protease using molecular simulation technology. Furthermore, some oligopeptides were syn-thesized and tested for the inhibition ability against EV71 in vitro. Results:Pentapeptides had higher binding affinity to the EV71 3C protease than the other oligopeptides, such as compounds 25 and 16. Therefore, compounds 25 and 16 were synthesized and tested in vitro for the anti-EV71 activity, and compound 25 exhibited potent anti-EV71 activity(EC50 =1. 36 μmol·L-1, CC50 =211. 94 μmol ·L-1, SI=155. 84), while compound 16 had no evident effect on EV71. Conclusion: It is worthy of further investigation on com-pound 25 as a novel scaffold of anti-EV71inhibitor.

Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation 2005;0(09):-
Objective To explore the effects of peripheral stem cell transplantation on extremely severe bone marrow form of acute radiation sickness. Methods One patient was radiated aecidently with the radiation dosage of 9~15 Gy and diagnosed as extremely severe bone marrow form of acute radiation sickness.Pretreatment was performed at 4th day after the accident and 3 days later,HLA- matched allogeneic stem cell transplantation on the patient was performed.Graft versus host disease (GVHD) was prevented with cyclosporin A (CsA) and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF).Results The haematopoiesis was recovered at 9th day after transplantation. At 11th day after transplantation, WBCs were increased to 14.74?10~9/L and returned to the normal levels subsequently, number of platelets risen to 51?10~9/L and hemaglobin was over 80 g/L.TRS-PCR and blood type dynamic detection testified that the donor's cells were stably implanted, the chromosome aberration and micro- nuclei disappeared after transplantation, and the patient's blood type changed into the donor's at 27th day after transplantation. But the radiation injury were still getting worse complicated with multiple infections,At 68th day after transplantation (75 days after the accident),the patient was died of mul- tiple organs failure. Conclusion Extremely severe bone marrow form of ARS can achieve hematopoie- sis recovery by allogeneic stem cell transplantation, but only hematopoiesis recovery can not cure the immunodefficiency and the radiation injury of the whole body.

?AlM: To study the correlation between monocular mild myopic juvenile myopia degree and dominant eye.
? METHODS: Totally 158 patients with juvenile monocularly mild myopia in our hospital from December 2012 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed, and cylindrical mirror astigmatism was used for spherical equivalent conversion. On the basis of the myopic degree, they were divided into three groups, 30 cases in group A (-0. 25~-0. 75D), 92 cases in B group (-1. 0~-2. 0D), 36 cases in group C (-2. 25 ~ -3. 0D). The card hole method was selected to measure dominant eye for subjectsat nearly 33cm and 5m. After glasses correction of ametropia, the far and near dominant eyes were received measurement again.
?RESULTS:The monocular mild myopia of dominant eye was compared with the non-dominant eye adjustment function, and there was no significant difference ( P>0. 05 ) . The dominant eye, non - dominant eye mean diopter and other correlations of eyes in the three groups were compared, and there was no significant difference (P>0. 05). The dominant eye of three groups at 5m was compared, and there was significant difference (P<0. 05). The dominant eye of three groups at 33cm was compared, and there was significant difference (P<0. 05). Dominant eye at different visual distance was compared, and there was significant difference (P<0. 05). Monocular uncorrected eye was compared with dominant eye mild afte myopia glassesr, and there was significant difference (P< 0. 05).
?CONCLUSlON: The formation of myopic anisometropia is related to the degree of clearly seeing objects, although glasses correction can improve the clarity and visual, but affect the choice of the dominant eye, because the myopic anisometropia appears most early in the dominant eye, therefore optician correction stage, which should be taken into consideration, and avoid the severity of the adolescent myopia.
