2.Effects of Zafirlukast on Emotions and Th1/Th2 Cytokines in Asthmatic Children
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(09):-
Objective To investigate the effects of Zafirlukast on emotions and Th1/Th2 cytokines in asthmatic children. Methods One hundred and eight asthmatic children were randomly allocated to 3 groups. The children in group A inhaled Pulmicort aerosol 200 ?g twice every day.On the basis of inhaled Pulmicort aerosol, the children in group B took orally Zafirlukast orally 10 mg once every day.The children in group C only took orally Zafirlukast 10 mg once every day.The course of treatment of all children were 4 weeks.Anxiety, depression status and the levels of IFN-? and IL-4 in blood serum were respectively detected before and after treatment. Results Scores of anxiety and depression after treatment in 3 groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(Pa0.05).Conclusions Zafirlukast or Glucocorticoid inhalation has the same effect on improving emotional status and accommodating disequilibrium of Th1/Th2 for asthmatic children, but effect of Zafirlukast combined with Glucocorticoid inhalation are better.

4.Relative cytokines in uveitis and experimental uveitis
International Eye Science 2015;(7):1172-1175
Uveitis is a group of inflammatory diseases causing serious impairment of visual function. The precise etiology and pathogenesis remain unclear. lt can be induced by infection, trauma, tumor or autoimmune response, of which autoimmune response is the most common. ln recent years, the cytokines in the process of inflammatory autoimmune diseases role has become one of research hot spots, its role in the pathogenesis and the relationship between the disease activity more and more attention. This article reviews the effects of interleukin, tumor necrosis factor, interferon and transforming growth factor-β in the pathogenesis of uveitis.

Objective T o evaluate the application value for the prognosis of m echanical ocular injury cases using ocular traum a score (O TS). Methods Four hundred and eleven cases of m echanical ocular traum a w ere retrospectively review ed. O f the 449 eyes, there w ere 317 closed globe injury and 132 open globe injury. O T S variables included num erical values as initial visual acuity, rupture, endophthalm itis, perforat-ing or penetrating injury, retinal detachm ent and relative afferent pupillary block. T he differences be-tw een the distribution of the final visual acuity and the probability of standard final visual acuity w ere com pared to analyze the correlation betw een O T S category and final visual acuity. T he different types of ocular traum a w ere com pared. Results C om pared w ith the distribution of final visual acuity in standard O T S score, the ratio in O T S-3 category w as statistically different in present study, and no differences w ere found in other categories. Final visual acuity show ed a great linear correlation w ith O T S category (r=0.71) and total score (r=0.73). C om pared w ith closed globe injury, open globe injury w as generally associated w ith low er total score and poorer prognosis. R upture injury had poorer prognosis com pared w ith penetrating injury. Conclusion T he use of O T S for the patients w ith ocular traum a can provide re-liable inform ation for the evaluation of prognosis in forensic m edicine.

· AlM: To explore the correlation of center retinal thickness and axial length in non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( DR) .
· METHODS:A total of 80 cases ( 155 eyes ) of non-proliferative DR patients were divided into three groups according to the axial length, 22~24mm of 27 cases (51 eyes) were normal group, 24 ~26mm of 28 cases ( 55 eyes) were long axis group, >26mm of 25 cases ( 49 eyes) were super long axis group. The center retinal thickness and ocular axial length of three groups were measured and the correlation of center retinal thickness and axial length were analyzed.
· RESULTS:Among the inner ring and outer ring, the center retinal thickness of upper and lower, bitamporal and nasal side of super long axis group was thicker than that in normal group, with statistically significant difference ( P<0.05 ); Among the inner ring and outer ring, the center retinal thickness of upper and lower, bitamporal and nasal side of super long axis group was thicker than that in long axis group, with statistically significant difference ( P<0.05); The DR central macular of retinal thickness was no correlation of the axial length ( P >0.05 ), but retinal thickness get thinning with increased of axial length on the inner ring and outer ring area, showed a negative correlation ( rinner ring =-0.63, router ring=-0.67, P<0.05).
·CONCLUSlON:Center retinal thickness and ocular axial length in non -proliferative DR patients, and center retinal thickness of super long axis patients are thinning obviously.

Objective To establish a rabbit model of lumbar laminectomy and bone grains replantation and provide experimental evidence for the clinical application. Methods Eighteen healthy male New Zealand rabbits were selected and randomly divided into two groups:the control group (n=6) and experimental group (n=12).The rabbits of control group were given general anesthesia, and taking the L5 spinous process as the center to perfom left L5 laminectomy, using a micro lancet forceps to slowly bite the lamina and ligamentum flavum for fenestration and exposed to an approximately 0.8 cm x 0.3 cm sized bone window and then sutured the skin. The rabbits of experimental group were exposed to an approximately 0.8 x 0.3 cm sized bone window as well, and bone fragments were cut into small grains. Then the small bone grains were embedded in medical collagen sponge, to form an arch shape, and replanted them to the site of epidural fenestration.CT scan and histological changes were observed at 4, 8 and 12 weeks after operation. Results At 8 weeks after operation, CT examination showed that in the experimental group, a thin bone plate was formed by the bone grains. At 12 weeks after operation, the bone plate became thicker and was connected with the vertebral bone, and with continuous bone trabeculae. The spinal canal and volume were not obviously changed, and no spinal cord compression was observed. The rabbits of control group showed segment lamina defects, a small scar protruding into the spinal canal, and the vertebral canal was not completely reconstructed. Conclusions The bone grains replantation can effectively promote bone reconstruction in the laminectomized rabbits, and the formed bone plate can prevent epidural scar from intruding into the spinal canal, and can reduce the postlaminectomy adhesion.
