Objective To explore the clinic value of chromosome karyotype analysis of amniotic fluid cells in prenatal diagnosis . Methods 1 466 cases of pregnant women who had the prenatal diagnosis indexes were selected ,and their amniotic fluid specimens were collected through amniocentesis guiding by type‐B ultrasonic around the 16th to 24th week .Amniotic fluid cells were gained after a successful cell culture .G banding was used for the karyotype analysis of amniotic fluid cells .Results The one‐time success rate of cultivation for amniotic fluid cells was 99 .8% .In 1 466 cases of pregnant women ,there were 16 cases of abnormal karyotype polymorphism (including 12 cases of trisomy 21 ,1 case of trisomy 18 ,and 3 cases of Chromosome abnormalities) and 3 cases of chromosomal polymorphism .Conclusion The chromosome karyotype analysis of amniotic fluid cell is still an irreplaceable test in prenatal diagnosis .

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of Yupingfeng powder in secondary immunodeficiency caused by simple nephrotic syndrome(SNS) in children.Methods Seventy-eight cases of SNS patients were divided into 2 groups randomly.One was control group which were treated with immunosuppressant only.The other group was Yupingfeng powder group which were treated with both immunosuppressant and Yupingfeng powder.The morbidity of infection,the relapse rate of SNS,and serum immunoglobulin IgA and IgG and the T-lymphocytes subtype were detected before and after treatment in two groups.Results The morbidity with infection was 55.3% in Yupingfeng powder group,which shows a remarkable decrease compared with control group(85%).The relapse rate of SNS was 39.5% in Yupingfeng powder group which was much lower than that in control group(67.5%).The level of serum IgA and IgG before treatment were(3.88?1.22) g/L and(0.83?0.14) g/L and rose up to(10.06?1.89) g/L and(1.38?0.10) g/L after treatment in Yupingfeng powder group.Whereas the control group with(6.23?1.55) g/L and(0.85?0.13) g/L was remarkably lower than those in Yupingfeng powder group.CD4+,CD8+ and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ were(37.91?3.89)%,(30.69?3.08)% and(1.24?0.49)% respectively before treatment.They rose up to(42.38?4.89)%,(26.01?2.20)% and(1.63?0.41)% respectively in Yupingfeng powder group,while those in control group were(39.87?3.91)%,(29.76?3.55)% and(1.34?0.24)% respectively after treatment.Conclusion It is feasible to treat the Yupingfeng powder to cure the of secondary immunodeficiency caused by SNS in children.

Objective To investigate the influence of Simiao pill intervention on the life quality of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease( CPID) . Methods Eighty-five cases of damp heat and blood stasis type of CPID were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group( n=43) was treated with Simiao pill decoction combined with other Chinese herbs;the control group(n=42)was treated with Fuke Qianjin capsules.Three months after the treatment, clinical efficacy was evaluated and life quality was assessed by WHOQOL-BREF. Results The total effective rate was 90. 70% in the treatment group and 71.43% in the control group(P<0.05).Before the treatment, score of each dimension of WHOQOL-BREF in both groups was not significantly different(P>0.05).After the treatment, score of each dimension of WHOQOL-BREF in both groups were increased, and the total score was(104.21±6.67)in the treatment group and(89.60±7.31)in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Simiao pill decoction combined with other Chinese herbs can effectively treat damp heat and blood stasis type of CPID and improve the life quality of the patients.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of liposome formulation in promoting hepatocytes' uptake of tenofovir and cytotoxic effect. METHODS: The tenofovir cationic liposomes were prepared by tert-butyl lyophilization, and its encapsulation efficiency and physico-chemical property were determined. Using human hepatic carcinoma cells SMMC-7721 as a model to investigate the effect of liposome formulation in promoting hepatocytes' uptake of tenofovir. MTT assays were used to examine the toxicity of tenofovir cationic liposomes in different conditions. RESULTS: The prepared tenofovir cationic liposomes had an encapsulation efficiency of (88.3?1.6)%, a size distribution of (278.4?67.6)nm and a Zeta potential of (31?5)mV. The results showed that the liposome formulations containing galactose and PEG modifying lipids resulted in significantly higher and prolonged drug accumulation inside cells as compared with free drugs. The cell survival rates were above 80% when the tenofovir liposome was at a concentration of 7.5?g?mL-1 and lipids at a concentration of 30?g?mL-1, and little toxicity was noted. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of herbs for replenishing yin to tonify kidney on testicular ultrastructural changes in rats with glucocorticoid-induced kidney deficiency. METHODS: Thirty rats were randomized into three groups: normal control group, untreated group and Erdi Biejia Decoction (EDBJD)-treated group. Kidney deficiency rat model was induced by glucocorticoid. Testicular structure and ultrastructure were observed under the light microscope and the transmission electron microscope. RESULTS: The light microscope revealed the decreased thickness of seminiferous epithelium layer, reduced number of spermatogenic cells, interstitial tissue edema, and a qualitative reduction in the number of interstitial cells and hematoxylin-eosin stained cytoplasm in the untreated group. The transmission electron microscope revealed loose structure of seminiferous epithelium, degenerative mitochondria, and increased amounts of lysosome, presence of numerous cytoplasmic vacuolation and chromatin in interstitial cell cytoplasm in the untreated group. The aggregates of heterochromatin around the nuclear membrane and the shrinkage of nucleus were also observed. Compared to the untreated group, these pathological changes were inconspicuous in EDBJD-treated group. CONCLUSION: EDBJD as replenishing yin to tonify kidney herbs can suppress glucocorticoid induced pathological changes in the testes of rats.
