3.A study on new cell-cycle inhibitors from the metabolites of marine-derived Streptomyces flavorectus
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Aim To explore the antitumor active metabolites of marine-derived Streptomyces flavorectus Z4-007. Methods The separation procedure was guided by a flow cytometric bioassay using tsFT210 cells to examine cell cycle inhibitory activity, and various column chromatography using silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, and ODS were employed for the isolation and purification of bioactive compounds. Chemical structures were investigated by spectroscopic methods and biological activities were evaluated by flow cytometry using mouse cancer tsFT210 cells. Results Four bioactive compounds were isolated from the fermentation broth of Streptomyces flavorectus Z4-007, one of them had been identified as 1-(2,4-Dihydroxy-3,5-dimethyl-phenyl)-hexa- (E,E)-2,4-dien-1-one (1) and the other three compounds were considered to be peptide, Compound Ⅰ inhibited the cell-cycle of tsFT210 cells at the G_0/G_1 phase at higher concentrations, while at the lower concentrations compound Ⅰ inhibited the cell-cycle mainly at the G_2/M phase, accompanied with induction of apoptosis in the tsFT210 cells. Conclusion Compound Ⅰ was isolated from the metabolites of the genus Streptomyces for the first time and provided as a new cell-cycle inhibitor.
4.Clinical evalution of a new ICH Score
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To assess clinical value of grading scale for intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH).Methods:By using the grading scale for ICH suggested by Hemphill and colleagues, 205 patients with acute ICH presenting to our department during 2000~2001 were studied retrospectively.Results:Thirty-mortality of ICH patient increased steadily with ICH Score. Conclusion:The grading scale for ICH is a simple amd reliable method of ICH score, worthy of clinical application.
5.Effect of acute hypoxia with simulated high altitude on expression of orexins in rat hypothalamus
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(05):-
Objective: To study the effect of acute hypoxia with simulated high altitude on the expression of orexins in rats hypothalamus. Methods: Rats were exposed to different high altitude(3 000 m,(4 000) m,5 000 m and 6 000 m for 8 h daily) in a hypobaric chamber. The expression of orexins in rat hypothalamus was determined by immunohistochemistry and the pathology changes of rat hypothalamus was observed with transelectricity. Results: The number of orexin-A immunoreactive positive cells in hypothalamus decreased obviously with hypoxia for 1 day(P
6.The clinical study of febrile convulsion.
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(S1):-
Objective To study the differences of electrolytes,C-reactive protein in different type, gender and recur- rent of febrile convulsion. Methods 174 cases of children febrile convulsion were collected. We detected the electro- lytes,C-reactive protein respectively and analyzed their relationship. Results In children febrile convulsion, the lev- els of the electrolytes,C-reactive protein had nothing to do with the type, gender and recurrent of the febrile convul- sion. Conclusion We should treat routinely the children who suffered from febrile convulsion without considering the type, gender and recurrent.
7.Relationship between HCV chronic infection and expression of IL-8,IP-10,Mig
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(13):-
Objective To study the relationship between HCV chronic infection and expression of CXC chemokines mRNA.Methods The levels of IL-8,IP-10 and Mig mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) of chronic hepatitis C patients were detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) before, and 3,6 months after combined therapy of interferon-?(IFN-?) and Ribavirin. The rate of chemokine/GAPDH was regarded as the extreme level of chemokine. Results The mean level of HCV-RNA and expressive levels of IL-8,IP-10,Mig mRNA in peripheral blood of HCV chronic infection were 2.09?10~(6)copies/ml,and(1.243 7?0.071 2),(0.682 8?0.073 8),(0.668 3?0.075 4),with significant difference with those of normal controls(P0.05).Conclusion The expressions of IL-8,IP-10 and Mig mRNA in PBMC are high in patients with chronic hepatitis C,and associated with the replication level of HCV,and less associated with the gene type of HCV.IFN-? can effectively restrain the replication of HCV and down-regulate the levels of IL-8,IP-10 and Mig mRNA near to normal level in patients with chronic hepatitis C.IFN-? plays an important role in down-regulating inflammation response and controlling the development of the patients' condition.
8.HEPATITIS B ASSOCIATED WITH GLOMERULONEPHRITIS IN CHILDREN——REPORT OF 24 CASES
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Hepatitis B associated with glomerulonephritis (HB-GN) has been increasing year after yea-r Tehispaper reports 24 cases of HE-GN treated between 1979 and 1984 whose clinical manifesta tion(?)the laboratory data confirmed the diagnosis. Our observations show that HB is mor often associated with extrahepatic lesions, sometimes appearing as the initial disorder or syndrome, including glomerulonephritis, carditis, arthritins, gastrocntentis and/or serum sickness, etc. HB-GN is also a kind of immune complex GN, whose pathogenesis is usually associatede with chronic active hepatitis, especially a decrease in the immune function of the Patient. Complex treatment, including liver Protection and immune stimulant treatment (blood and/or Plasma transfusion, thymosin, or levamisole)could give a better therapeutic effect.
9.Nutritional therapy of gestational diabetes mellitus and impaired glucose tolerance
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 2004;0(05):-
Objective:To study the nutritional therapy of GDM and IGT.Methods:50 g glucose challenge test was done 610 in patients at examination in our hospital. The oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was performed in glucose challenge test positive patients to diagnose GDM and IGT.The blood glucose of fasting and postprandial 2h,perinatal mortality, incidence of large neonates were observed after treatment with nutrition in the GDM and IGT patients. Results:There were 15 cases of GDM and 61cases of IGT during the 140 cases of GCT positive patients. After nutritional therapy, the GDM's fasting and postprandial 2 h blood glucose decreased significantly(P
10.On the Management of Safe Drug Use in View of 6 Death/Disability ADR Events
China Pharmacy 2007;0(31):-
OBJECTIVE: To remind the concerned party of the importance of safe and rational use of drugs and the reevaluation of drugs after they have been put into market. METHODS: To analyze the occurring process and the treatment of six death/disability cases related to adverse drug reactions in Ningxia area as well as the problems existed in the management on safe drug use and the solutions. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Management on safe drug use should be reinforced within the system of health and drug administration, and great importance should be attached to the reevaluation of drugs after they have been put into market to ensure safe and rational drug use.
