Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(05):-
Objective:To observe the ratio of the syndrome of deficiency in origin to the syndrome of excess in superficiality in chronic renal failure(CRF)and co-existent states, and to analyze the relationship between TCM syndrome types and related biochemical indexes. Methods:TCM syndrome differentiation was carried out and related biochemical indexes were determined in 146 cases of CRF.The data were compared and analyzed with single factor analysis of variance between groups.Results:(1)Deficiency of both qi and yin of spleen and kidney was the most frequently-appeared type in the deficiency syndrome, and damp-heat syndrome was the most frequently-appeared type in the excess syndrome;(2)Serum creatinine(SCr)and blood uria nitrogen(BUN)in the patient of damp-turbid syndrome in the excess syndrome were significantly higher than those in the patient of damp-heat and blood stasis syndrome;(3)Fibrin in the patient of blood stasis was significantly higher than that in damp-heat syndrome and damp-turbid syndrome. Conclusion:Generation and development of CRF are closely related with dampness syndrome, usually marked by syndrome of damp-turbid,damp-heat,blood stasis,damp-stagnation,and was mainly related with abnormal renal function and hemorheologic indexes in the biochemical indexes.

China Biotechnology 2006;0(05):-
A simple and effective method for the duplex PCR detection was developed by using sequences of exogenous gene(RDV MP-)and endogenous gene(Zein)as templates for PCR amplification. The results of routine PCR amplification for RDV MP-gene in transgenic maize suggested that RDV MP-gene can stably inheritate in transgenic plants and their progenies; The duplex PCR detection of all negative and part positive samples that obtained by routine PCR amplification confirmed that above negative results were exact, also showed that the quality of extracted DNA can meet the need of PCR amplification. The error ratio of negative samples was 1.4%.The method used in this study was simple and credible and can be used to detect transgenic plants and their products.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(31):5046-5050
BACKGROUND:Knee joint is the most complicated structure of human body, and X-ray is often used to reflect the stenosis of knee compartment. However, radiographs are two-dimensional projection of three-dimensional joint structure. Thus, different joint shooting locations can impact the outcomes of measurement, and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of repeated measurements. OBJECTIVE:To build three-dimensional model of knee compartment, measure the distance and volume, and provide the basis for subsequent models, biomechanics and relevant clinical studies. METHODS:Based on the principle of reverse engineering, using CT images of the knee joint and the software of Mimics, three-dimensional model of medial compartment knee structure was reconstructed. After the model was imported and smoothed, the medial and lateral compartment volumes were finaly calculated by the software of Geomagic Studio. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Three-dimensional model of the knee compartment, including femur, tibia and fibula, was successfuly structured by CT images. The models of knee and knee compartment could be observed at any angle or observed individualy, and could be measured. It was discovered that the volume of medial and lateral compartments of knee is close, although the joint space width of them is different, which ilustrates that the procedure can accurately reflect the degree of knee joint space width in the round by calculating the volume of medial and lateral compartments of knee joint through computer.
6.Comparative study between the Meibomian pulsation system and the warm compress treatment for MGD
International Eye Science 2018;18(7):1324-1328
·AIM: To compare the efficacy and safety of LipiFlow pulsation system and traditional Meibomian warm compress treatment for patients with Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). ·METHODS: Totally 50 patients with MGD were selected, whom were randomly divided into experimental group ( 25 cases ) and control group ( 25 cases ). The experimental group underwent a single treatment with the LipiFlow pulsation system. Subjects of the control group were subjected to a daily 15- minute warm compress treatment, lasting 2wk. Comparative analyses were made during moments before and 4, 8 and 12wk after treatments, according to the evaluation of eight indexes including subjective symptoms, tear film break-up time ( TBUT), tear film lipid layer thickness (LLT), Meibomian deletions etc. Those analyses were made using LSD-t test, to analyze the effectiveness evaluation parameters at different time points. Independent samples t-test was employed to compare those statistic results between experimental group and control group. · RESULTS: Statistically significant differences were observed on Ocular Surface Disease Index ( OSDI), the quality of Meibomian secretions and Schirmer test ( P<0. 05). There were also statistically significant differences on the difference in degree of improvements in OSDI, the Meibomian glands yielding liquid secretion, fluorescein staining score LLT, TBUT between the experimental group and control group (P<0. 05). There were no differences on safety parameters between two groups. ·CONCLUSION: A single treatment with the LipiFlow pulsation system and warm compress treatment are effective and safe for MGD, while the former is better.

Objective To study the methods and results of endovascular treatment of posterior inferior cerebellar artery (PICA) aneurysms. Methods Twenty-one patients with PICA aneurysms were treated with endovascular treatment. The locations of aneurysm on PICA were evaluated through the DSA. Eight patients received single coil embolization, 5 received liquid Glue embolization, 2 received coil embolization combined with liquid Glue, 2 received coil embolization assisted with stents, and 4 underwent ocelasion of the parent PICA. Outcome was evaluated with the Glasgow outcome scale (COS). Results There were complete (100%) occlusion in 5 patients, near complete (>90% ) occlusion in 2, and incomplete (85%) occlusion in 1 in single coil embolization. Seven patients with Glue embolization (n = 5 ) or combination with coils ( n = 2 ) exhibited complete ( 100% ) occlusion. There were near complete ( >90% ) occlusion in 2 cases with coil assisted with stents. Complete occlusion of the parent PICA was achieved in 3 patients, and near complete occlusion of PICA in one case. One patient suffered from new neurological deficits, and one patient treated with coils and stents died. None of the patients suffered from re-bleeding. These patients received follow-up during a mean period of (22±8) months. Overall long-term outcome was good ( GOS score 4 or 5 ) in 17 patients, poor ( COS score 2 or 3) in 3, and fatal ( GOS score 1 ) in one case. Conclusions According to the location of aneurysms on PICA, aneurysms can be effectively and safely treated with endovaecular embolization.
