1.Analysis of stability and healing on minimally invasive osteotomy for the treatment of hallux valgus.

To treat hallux valgus, minimally invasive osteotomy on 1st metatarsal neck,immobilization with "8-shape" bandagev was performed, and the effect was definited. The principles of osteotomy stability were analyzed from the osteotomy position, methods, direction and angle. The grinding drill was used to increase friction coefficient between the ends of osteotomy. Correct direction of osteotomy and suitable angle were the key point of stability. The immobilization with "8-shape" bandage complied with the principle of elastic fixation created the conditions for the slight movement of the osteotomy ends. Compared with internal fixation ,it was better on osteotomy healing,and the osteotomy ends were stable and healed with cartilage

2.Effect of hyperoxic liquid on gastric intramucosal pH after myocardial ischemic reperfusion injury in rabbits

Objective To investigate the changes in gastric intramucosal pH(pHi) and the effect of hyperoxic liquid on intramucosal pH(pHi) after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rabbits.Methods Twenty healthy male adult rabbits,weighing 2.3-3.0 kg,were randomly divided into two groups: control group(n=10) and hyperoxic liquid group(n=10).Hyperoxic liquid group received the routine infusion of hyperoxic liquidle of 10 mL/kg for seven days,while control group received the routine treatment infusion of saline instead of hyperoxic liquid of 10 mL/kg.Seven days later,the myocardial ischemic reperfusion model(I/R) was established,and ECG and homodynamic indexes were monitored simultaneously.Hemodynamic indexes and pHi were measured before myocardial ischemia,30 min after myocardial ischemia as well as 1 h and 2 h after reperfusion.Results Hyperoxic liquid could lower ST segment and improve hemodynamic indexes.pHi decreased significantly after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in both groups.Compared with that in control group,pHi was significantly higher at 1 h and 2 h after reperfusion in hyperoxic liquid group(P

Objective To study the protective effect of hyperoxic liquid preconditioning in myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury. Methods Thirty rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: group A undergoing all procedures except ischemia-reperfusion, group C receiving the routine infusion of hyperoxic liquid 15mL/kg for seven days, and group B receiving the routine treatment infusion of saline instead of hyperoxic liquid 15mL/kg. Seven days later, the myocardial ischemic reperfusion model (I/R) was fabricated, ECG and homodynamic index were monitored simultaneously. Dengue virus (DENV) is a re-emerging disease transmitted by the Aedes mosquitoes and has become a major public health problem in southern China. Currently, no antiviral drug or effective vaccine exist to control this disease. The chimeric DENV structural protein vaccine cannot elicit balanced levels of protective immunity to each of the four viral serotypes; therefore, non-structural protein components may be required to construct an effective DENV vaccine. The Dengue virus non-structural 1 (DENV NS1) protein plays a critical role in viral pathogenesis and protective immunity. Therefore, immunity to Dengue 1-4 NS1 subtypes may be crucial for the prevention of severe disease. This review attempts to provide an overview about the structure and function of DENV NS1.

7.Effect of Foreign Plasmid DNA on Material and Energy Metabolism of Spleen in Mice

To study the influence of foreign plasmid DNA on spleen metabolism in immune-stimulated mice via the gastrointestinal tract. Mice were oral administered by pipette with 200?g of plasmid pcDNA3 and spleen were isolated at 4h and 18h after oral administration. Total RNA were extracted from spleen and spleen gene expression profile of Balb/c mice was analyzed by using Affymetrix oligonucleotide genechip after oral plasmid pcDNA3 administration. Functional cluster analysis was conducted by Genmapp and MAPPFinder software. By functional cluster analyzing the genes which were up-regulated more than twofolds, Genmapp results showed that plenty of metabolic pathway were induced in spleen after oral administration of plasmid pcDNA3. These metabolic process included purine metabolism, pyrimidine metabolism, protein synthesis, cholesterol synthesis, fatty acid synthesis, Glycolysis, TCA cycle and mitochondria oxidative phosphorylation pathway. The similar results also took place at 18h after oral administration. The result indicated that foreign plasmid DNA can modulate metabolism process in spleen of mice via the gastrointestinal tract, and may help understand the mechanism of action of foreign plasmid DNA uptaked via the gastrointestinal tract.
8.The effect of gastric intraumucosal pH during orthotopic liver transplantation

Objective To investigate the ch an ges of gastric intramucosal pH (pHi) during orthotopic liver transplantation (OL T) without venovenous bypasss. Methods Twenty patients (14 males and 6 females) aged (46.7 ?4.6) years, undergoing orthotopic liver transplantation without venovenous byp asss, were included in this study. A gastric tube technique was used to draw gas tric juice 3~5 mL to determine pHi and PiCO 2 before OLT, at 20 min preanhep atic phase, 30 min anhepatic phase, 30 min new hepatic phase and at 2 h and 2 4 h after operation. The arterial blood samples collected taken for the measure ments of PaCO 2, PO 2, pH, BE and HCO 3- at the same time point s as above. pHi was calculated through Henderson-Hasselbach equation. 9.Clinical research of fetus distress treated with hyperoxin liquid

Objective To observe the effect of fetus distress treated with hyperoxin liquid and to provide evidence for this treatment.Methods A total of 70 lying-in women with fetus distress during cesarean section were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group was given infusion of hyperoxin liquid by vein and control group was given 50g/L glucose.The blood gas was analyzed in the two groups,and the SOD and MAD of fetus ambilical blood were also tested.The blood gas analysis and the Apgar scoring of neonates were carried out.Results The PaO2 in pregnant and lying-in women and SOD,PO2,SaO2,HCO-3 and BE of fetuses in treatment group were obviously higher than those in control group.The MDA and PCO2 were significantly lower than those in control group.The Apgar score in treatment group was better than that in control group.Conclusion Hyperoxin liquid can improve the anoxia status of fetus distress and save time for further clinical treatment.
10.Etiological analysis of infection after eye surgery and the investigation of drug sensitivity

Background Clinical researches showed that antimicrobial-resistance of bacterium is gradually serious.It is very important to master pathogen distribution and antimicrobial susceptibility after eye surgery.Objective This study was to investigate the distribution and drug sensitivity of pathogenic bacteria from ocular operative infection in 3-year duration to provide a reference for reasonable selection of antibiotics.Methods Sixtyfive positive specimens were obtained from 65 patients due to postoperative infection in Department of Ophthalmology of Shenzhou Hospital and Shengjing Hospital from 2009 January through 2011 December.The pathogenic bacteria were isolated and then the drug sensitivity test of conventional antibiotics was performed.Results Among the 65 ophthalmic specimens,35 strains of Gram-positive bacteria were isolated with the constituent ratio 53.8%,and 15 strains of Gram-negative bacteria accounted for 23.1%.Fungus was found in 15 cases with the constituent ratio 23.1%.Staphylococcus epidermidis accounted for 42.9% in Gram-positive bacteria,and Pseudomonas aeruginosa accounted for 33.3% in Gram-negative bacteria.Aspergillus was the main component of fungus,which accounted for 60.0% of the proportion 3 strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in 8 strains of Staphylococcus aureus,but no vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) and vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus (VRS) were seen.The in vitro drug sensitivity test showed that the main Gram-positive bacteria,Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus,were sensitive to linezolid,vancomycin,levofloxacin and ciprofloxacin with the sensitive rates >50.0%,and these bacteria were lowly sensitive to penicillin and erythromycin with the sensitive rates ≤30.0%.Pseudomonas aeruginosa appeared to be the main Gram-negative bacteria,showing a sensitive rate ≥ 80.0% to tobramycin,amikacin,ceftazidime,cefepime,cefoperazone/sulbactam,piperacillin/tazobactam,imipenem and meropenem.Conclusions Staphylococcus epidermidis,Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Aspergillus are primary pathogens in ocular infection after operation.Antibiotics such as penicillin,erythromycin,levofloxacin,cefotaxime seem to be relatively high resistant to eye infection.To choose sensitive antibiotics timely and reasonably is a key to the prevention and control of ocular infection after operation.
