1.COLOR AC-PDP ENHANCEMENT OF LOW LEVELS IMAGE QUALITY WITH DYNAMIC MODIFYING SUB-FIELDS CODE
Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2006;18(2):126-130,145
Based on the "Grayscales average distribution" method which equally distributes the input gray levels to output gray levels, three improved methods named: "Reduce the gray range expressed by the less significant subfields", "Low levels preset" and "Modify the exponent of inverse-gamma function" are proposed in this paper. Using these methods, the inverse-gamma relation subfields code can be obtained easily which can improve the low level expressions of AC-PDP. And a program, "gray scales distribution validate program", which can enhance the expressions of the demanded gray levels range, is also proposed in this paper.

Objective: To study the mandibular bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) with bicortical screws rigid internal fixation(RIF) with the three-dimensional finite element method, and supply directions for clinic practice. Methods:CT scanned technology and the finite element software (Ansys) were used to establish the three-dimensional finite element model of BSSRO with bicortical screws RIF. The stress distribution of the mandible and the RIF and the displacement of split mandible were calculated under three kind of occlusion situation. Results:Under the same kind of occlusion situation, the stress and displacement of the split mandible with single upper screws fixation was higher than that with the reverse "L" screws fixation, the stress and displacement of the split mandible with 2.0 mm diameter screws fixation was higher than that with 2.7 mm diameter screws fixation. With the same kind of fixation method, the stress and the displacemen of the mandible under the incisor occlusion was the highest. Conclusion:The fixation distance, position, distribution angle of the bicortical screws all have effects on the fixation stability. The patient should avoid the incisor occlusion after the surgery.

5.Analysis of stability and healing on minimally invasive osteotomy for the treatment of hallux valgus.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2016;29(3):228-231
To treat hallux valgus, minimally invasive osteotomy on 1st metatarsal neck, immobilization with "8-shape" bandagev was performed, and the effect was definited. The principles of osteotomy stability were analyzed from the osteotomy position, methods, direction and angle. The grinding drill was used to increase friction coefficient between the ends of osteotomy. Correct direction of osteotomy and suitable angle were the key point of stability. The immobilization with "8-shape" bandage complied with the principle of elastic fixation created the conditions for the slight movement of the osteotomy ends. Compared with internal fixation ,it was better on osteotomy healing, and the osteotomy ends were stable and healed with cartilage

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(39):6286-6290
BACKGROUND:Hip arthroplasty is an effective means currently in repair of femoral neck fractures. With the increased in the amount of surgery, surgery failure rate also has increased. In particular, prosthesis loosening and fracture are very common after replacement.Qiangguyin can promote the formation of osteoblasts, resist osteoporosis, inhibit osteoclast activity, and increase bone density. Drynaria invigorates the kidney, strengthens the bone and tendon and relieves pain, and has bidirectional regulatory effects on promoting bone formation and inhibiting bone resorption.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate effects ofQiangguyin on periprosthetic bone density in patients with femoral neck fracture after hip arthroplasty.
METHODS:96 patients with femoral neck fracture were equaly divided into observation group and control group based on the random number table. Both groups were given selective joint replacement. Patients were implanted with femoral head made by US Stryker Corporation, and fixed with bone cement. After replacement, patients in the control group were treated with calcium D3 tablets and capsules alfacalcidol. On this basis, the treatment group was given theQiangguyin oral drug intervention for a month. Bone density surrounding the prosthesis was observed in both groups. Alkaline phosphatase and tartrate-resistant hydrochloric acid phosphatase activities were detected. Repair effects were compared.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The surgery was successfuly completed in al patients. No infection or loosening of the prosthesis occurred. Ambulation time and healing time were significantly less in the observation group than in the control group (P < 0.05). No significant difference in bone density surrounding the prosthesis was detected between the two groups before medication, and an obvious increased trend was found after medication (P < 0.05). Bone density was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group after medication (P < 0.05). Serum alkaline phosphatase activity was significantly higher in the two groups after medication, but tartrate-resistant hydrochloric acid phosphatase activity was significantly decreased, which showed significant differences as compared with that before medication (P < 0.05). Simultaneously, significant differences in serum alkaline phosphatase activity and tartrate-resistant hydrochloric acid phosphatase activity were detected between the observation and control groups after medication (P < 0.05). At 6 months after replacement, the excelent and good rate of joint function was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (94%, 79%,P < 0.05). These results indicate that Qiangguyin could resist bone resorption and suppress excessive bone turnover, improve bone density around the prosthesis, and restore joint function after hip arthroplasty.

Objective To biomechanically study the fixation stability of different numbers and shapes of the titanium miniplates (L-shaped and straight four-hole miniplates) in the treatment of maxillary LeFortⅠ fracture by using three-dimensional finite element method so as to provide reference for clinical treatment of the fractures. Methods Three-dimensional finite element model of maxillary LeFortⅠ fracture was established with four kinds of rigid internal fixation (RIF) methods to calculate the stress of the maxilla and the RIF as well as the displacement of the fracture segment under three kinds of occlusion. Then, the fixation stability of different methods was compared. Results Under the same occlusion condition, the decreasing order of the displacement of the fracture segment was the L-shaped plate fixation at both buttress of the maxillary and nasal maxillary zygomatic, the straight four-hole miniplates fixation at both buttress of the maxillary and nasal maxillary zygomatic, the L-shaped plate fixation at the zygomatic maxillary buttress and the L-shaped plate fixation at naso-maxillary buttress. Under the same fixation method, the decreasing order of the displacement of the fracture segment was molar occlusion, premolar oeclusion and incisor occlusion. Conclusions The fixation stability of the L-shaped plate fixation is better than the straight four-hole miniplate fixation for the treatment of LeFortⅠ fracture. Fixation at the zygomaticmaxillary buttress is better than at the naso-maxillary buttress. Use of only two miniplates to fix the LeFort Ⅰ fracture may not be stable. Molar occlusion is not good for fracture healing.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2010;09(5):353-356
Objective To investigate whether emodin enhances chemosensitivity of pancreatic cancer cells and the mechanism. Methods Normal human skin fibroblasts and pancreatic BXPC-3 cells were divided into control group, cisplatin (5 mg/L) treatment group, gemcitabine (0.5 μmol/L) treatment group, emodin (50 μmol/L)+ cisplatin (5 mg/L) co-treatment group and emodin (50 μmol/L) + gemcitabine (0.5 μmol/L) co-treatmentgroup. The cell viability was detected by MTT assay, the cell apoptosis rate by flow cytometry, the expression of the multidrug resistance-associated protein 1 ( MRP1 ), MRP2, breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) and P-glycoprotein (P-gp) mRNA in different cell lines was determined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. All data were analyzed using the t test. Results The cell viability and apoptosis rate of pancreatic BXPC-3 cells after treatment were 62.44% ± 3.42% and 27. 10% ± 4.24% in the cisplatin treatment group, and they were 30.53% ±0.05% and 66.33% ±9.37% in the emodin + cisplatin co-treatment group. There were significant differences in cell viability and apoptosis rate between the two groups (t = 13.20, 5. 35, P < 0.05 ). The cell viability and apoptosis rate of pancreatic BXPC-3 cells after treatment were 79.82% ±2.83% and 13.48% ± 1.65%in the gemcitabine treatment group, and they were 45.65% ± 2.46% and 62.74% ± 10. 18% in the emodin +gemcitabine co-treatment group. There were significant differences in cell viability and apoptosis rate between the two groups (t = 12.89, 8.28, P < 0. 05 ). There was no significant difference in the viability of normal human skin fibroblasts between the cisplatin treatment group and the emodin + cisplatin co-treatment group, and also between the gemcitabine treatment group and the emodin + gemcitabine co-treatment group (t = 2. 08, 0. 64, P >0.05 ). Expression of MRP1 mRNA was detected in pancreatic BXPC-3 cells, whereas the expression of MRP2,BCRP and P-gp mRNA was undetectable. The expression of MRP1 mRNA in pancreatic BXPC-3 cells was significantly down-regulated in the cisplatin treatment group, and cisplatin + emodin co-treatment had an additive effect on down-regulating the expression of MRP1 mRNA. Conclusion Emodin may enhance chemosensitivity of pancreatic cancer cells to cisplatin by down-regulating the expression of MRP1 mRNA.
