The effects of ultrafine grinding on the dissolution rates of the effective components in Sanjie Zhentong capsule (SZC) were studied in this experiment. Fine and ultrafine powder of SZC intermediates were made by ordinary grinding and ultrafine grinding technology, and then granulated by wet granulation. SZC were prepared by fine powder, ultrafine powder and ultrafine granules, respectively. With resveratrol and loureirin B as investigated indexes, dissolution rates of the four intermediates in SZC were determined by cup method and HPLC. The dissolution rates of resveratrol in SZC prepared by fine powder, ultrafine powder and ultrafine granules were 26.11%, 63.27%, 67.49%, respectively; and the dissolution rates of loureirin B were 7.160%, 20.29%, 23.05%, respectively. The dissolution rate of resveratrol and loureirin B in SZC prepared by ultrafine granules was the best. D90 size of ultrafine grinding was 13.221 μm and could improve the dissolution rates of resveratrol and loureirin B in SZC.

7.Cellular fibrous histiocytoma: a clinicopathologic analysis of 27 cases.
Chinese Journal of Pathology 2013;42(3):153-157
OBJECTIVETo study the clinicopathologic characteristics of cellular fibrous histiocytoma (CFH) with emphasis on diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
METHODSClinical and pathologic features were reviewed in 27 cases of CFH (encountered during the period from 2008 to 2012) along with outcome analysis. Immunophenotyping was performed with EnVision method.
RESULTSThe patients included 13 males and 14 females. The age at presentation ranged from 15 to 61 years (mean, 34 years; median, 32 years). The tumor occurred in the extremities (n = 14), head and neck (n = 7), and trunk (n = 6). Histologically, the tumors were located in the dermis. Some cases showed wedge like extension into the subcutaneous adipose tissue. On high power, they consisted of dense fibroblasts and myofibroblasts. Other cell components such as psammoma-like histiocytes, hemosiderin-containing macrophages or touton-type giant cells were rare. The spindled tumor cells were arranged mostly in intersecting fascicles. Focal storiform architecture was not uncommon. In addition, a few cases showed prominent hemangiopericytoma-like pattern. There was no prominent cellular atypia but increased mitotic figures were not difficult to find. Two cases exhibited necrosis. By immunohistochemistry, the tumor cells showed variable expression of alpha smooth muscle actin. CD34 positive cells were present in some cases, but were distributed mostly in the periphery or bottom of the lesions. They were all negative for desmin, h-caldesmon, S-100 protein and cytokeratin. Follow-up in 19 cases revealed local recurrences in 5 cases and bilateral pulmonary metastases in 1 case after repeated recurrences.
CONCLUSIONSCFH is a cellular form of benign fibrous histiocytoma which has a risk for local recurrence after incomplete excision. Distant metastasis can occur in rare examples. However, there were no morphological parameters predicting the risk of recurrence or metastasis. Increased awareness of the clinocopathological features and immunophenotypes of CFH is helpful in avoiding misdiagnosing the disease as malignant tumors, especially dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.

Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of compound gastritis mixture (CGM) in treating precancerous lesions of gastric carcinoma (PLGC).Methods Totally 85 PLGC patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group took CGM and the control group took Vitacoenzyme tablets. One therapeutic course was three months, and the treatment lasted for two courses. The clinical symptoms, electronic gastroscopy presentation, and pathological tissues before and after treatment were observed, the clinical efficacy was evaluated. Results There was statistical significance in TCM syndrome between the two groups (P<0.05), and the effective rate in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group (P<0.01). The symptoms of the two groups were significantly improved (P<0.05,P<0.01), but the improvements of the main symptoms in the treatment group were superior to those in the control group (P<0.05,P<0.01). The total effective rate of electronic gastroscopy presentation was 80.0% (36/45) in the treatment group, which was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Pathological curative effects of chronic atrophic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia, and dysplasia in the treatment group were also better than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion CGM has definite clinical efficacy in treating PLGC.

Objective To analyze the clinical and pathological characteristics of children with lupus nephritis(LN).Methods Ninety-one children with LN were diagnosed from 1993 to 2005,according to the clinical literature and renal pathology and the data were retrospectively summarized. Results Within the cohort of 91 children, there were 69 females and 22 males(female to male ratio 3.1).Most of the sick children were at the school age ranging from 6.0 to 15.5 years old.Nephrotic syndrome(44.0%) was the most common clinical manifestation.Fifty-nine renal biopsies were performed.Class Ⅳ LN(59.3%) was the most frequent pathological findings."A full-house pattern" on immunofluorescence was found in 72.0% of biopsies. The clinical and pathological manifestations of some children were atypical. There were 3 patients characterized by predominant deposits of immunoglobulin M(IgM),1 patient with predominant deposits of IgA,and 2 children with pauci-immune LN.Three children with class Ⅱ LN in our study presented with nephrotic syndrome.LN was initially controlled by aggressive treatment in 93.7% of thse patients.Relapses of nephritis covered 27.1% of them, mostly caused by the intermittent treatment. Conclusions The clinical and pathological manifestations of LN were variable. Some atypical LN was considered to be associated with the distinct pathogenesis. Most of LN could be controlled by aggressive treatment.Long and regular treatment is necessary to improve the prognosis of LN.
