Objective To evaluate the clinical application of digital radiography(DR)tissue equalization(TE)technique in the femoral neck injury.Methods TE technique and conventional photography were used to examine 50 patients suffering from injury of the femoral neck.The image quality was evaluated by three radiological experts who were blinded to the results.The image quality was divided into five levels.Results When the TE technique was used,38 perfect images were obtained and there was no unacceptable image,while the traditional methods resulted in 12 unacceptable images and no perfect image.The TE technique is superior to the conventional radiography significantly in the lateral photography of the femoral neck(P

Diagnosis related groups (DRGs)have been widely used in many countries and regions.The versions of DRGs in different regions are modified according to the local circumstances and conditions.Beijing version DRGs (BJ-DRGs)is the first DRGs system in Chinese,which was developed locally based on the conditions of medical information system and health relative policies in Beijing.This paper introduced the grouping principles,logic and methodology of BJ-DRGs.Taking“ear,nose,mouth and throat disorders”for example,this paper demonstrated the grouping process of BJ-DRGs.

Objective To study the effect of Zusanli and Guanyuan electroacupuncture ( EA) on inflammatory reaction in patients with sepsis. Methods A prospective and randomized trial was carried out in 58 sepsis patients, and the patients were randomly divided into EA group and control group. Patients in both groups were given conventional western medicine treatment, and EA group received EA at acupoints of Zusanli and Guanyuan additionally. The hospitalization time in intensive care unit ( ICU) of the two groups was compared. The changes of serum lactic acid (LA) level and inflammatory indexes including white blood cell and neutrophil count, C- reactive protein (CRP), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and procalcitonin (PCT) of the two groups were observed before and after treatment. Results The hospitalization time in ICU of EA group was less than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . On the seventh day after treatment, the serum LA level of EA group was significantly lower than that of the control group ( P<0.05) . Inflammatory indexes of EA group were decreased after treatment compared with those before treatment ( P<0.05) , and on seventh day after treatment, the inflammatory indexes of EA group were significantly lower than those of the control group ( P<0.05) . Conclusion EA at acupoints of Zusanli and Guanyuan is effective for the treatment of sepsis through reducing the inflammatory reaction of sepsis patients.

Objective To explore the clinical value and the difference of bone mineral density(BMD) in every vertebra of lumbar spine in middle old-aged Chinese female with quantitative computed tomography (QCT).Methods The BMD in every vertebra of lumbar spine was investigated by QCT in 725 healthy females aged from 35 to 98 years. They were divided into groups every five years.The BMD in vertebra of lumbar spine (L 1～L 4) were measured by QCT and the groups tested for significant differences,using SPSS10.0 software for the analysis.Results Lumbar spine (L 1～L 4) BMD declined with aging. Objective:To explore the clinical effect of prostatil combined with diosmin on the elderly patients with chronic prostatitis (CP) and the macrophage inflammatory protein-2 (MIP-2) and macrophage inflammatory protein-lα (MIP-lα) in prostate fluid and serum.Methods:126 cases of elderly patients with CP in our hospital fiom January 2015 to September 2016 were selected and randomly divided into two groups.Prostatil combined with diosmin were provided to the patients in observation groups (63 cases) while the control group (63 cases) was treated by prostatil alone.The clinical effect,MIP-2,MIP-1α levels in the prostate fluid and serum before and after therapy as well as the incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared between two groups.Results:At 12 weeks after treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was 93.7％,which was obviously higher than that of the control group (81.0％,P＜0.05).The MIP-2 and MIP-1α levels in prostate fluid and serum of both groups at 12 weeks after therapy were significantly lower than those before therapy (P＜0.01),which were significantly lower in the observation group than those of the control group at the same time (P＜0.01).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusion:Prostatil combined with diosmin could more safely and effectively improve the clinical efficacy in the treatment of elderly patients with CP/CPPS,which might be related to reduce the levels ofMIP-2,MIP-lα in serum and prostatic fluid.

BACKGROUND: High oxalic acid urine is a risk factor for stone formation. Constructing cel lines with high oxalate metabolic ability using genetic engineering and stem cel technology wil become the effective method to prevent and treat calcium oxalate stone. OBJECTIVE: To construct the adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel lines that can decompose the oxalic acid, through co-transfecting the oxalic acid degradation genes Frc and Oxc of oxalobacter formigenes into the normal adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. METHODS: Frc and Oxc were amplified by PCR, and the eukaryotic expression vectors of pLEGFP-N1-myc-Frc and pBaBE-puro-flag-Oxc were constructed, then co-transfected into the normal adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. The non-transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and the cells transfected with empty vectors were as control. Western blot was performed to detect the expression of the objective genes;the concentration of oxalate in the culture medium after transgenic was determined by ion chromatography. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing results showed that the Frc and Oxc genes were successful y amplified, and the vectors of pLEGFP-N1-myc-Frc and pBaBE-puro-flag-Oxc were constructed. After tranfected into the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, the Western blot results showed that transfected bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells could stably express the target protein myc-formyl coenzyme A transferase enzyme and the flag-oxalyl coenzyme A decarboxylase; ion chromatography test results showed with the prolonging of the culture time, the concentration of oxalic acid in the human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel culture medium transfected with target gene was decreased gradual y. While there was no target protein expression in the non-transfected human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells as wel as the cells transfected with empty vectors. The cells had the ability of oxalate-degradation. The experiment successful y constructs the adult bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel lines that can decompose the oxalic acid, and the cel lines have the ability of oxalate-degradation and can stably express the oxalate decomposition proteins Frc and Oxc.
