ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of the immunotherapy of CIK cell, LAK cell and PBLS cell mediated by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 bispecific antibody (BsAb) respectively on the mice borne human gastric cancer and provide experimental evidence for therapeutic strategy in treating gastric cancer. Methods The mAbs of anti-CD3 and anti-EGFR were cross-linked to prepare the BsAb by chemical synthesis. The experimental therapy on the mice borne SGC7901 human gastric cancer was performed,and then the comparisons of the curative activity among the CIK group, LAK group and PBLS group were conducted in vivo. ResultsThe mean tumor reduction rate of the administration of CIK cells directed by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 BsAb was(64.9±7.7)％ and higher than those of LAK cells or PBLS targeted by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 BsAb [(43.5±8.2) ％ and (39.7±6.5) ％] (P ＜ 0.05).The mean tumor weight of the administration of CIK cells directed by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 BsAb was (473.9±37.7) mg at the end of therapy and was lower than those of LAK cells or PBLS targeted by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 BsAb [(764.6±88.3) mg and (829.1±104.4) mg](P ＜ 0.05). ConclusionThe CIK cell mediated by anti-EGFR/anti-CD3 BsAb could have better curative effect than other effector cells on gastric cancer in vivo.

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of diagnosis and arthroscopic treatment of intratment of intra ular osteoid osteoma.Methods Seven patients(average 22.4 years old with range from 11～32 years)with intra-articular Osteoid osteoma who underwent arthroscopy treatment from March 2006 to June 2009 were studied respectively.Thin-section CT scanning was used to confirm diagnosis and determine surgery location.Results The time span between the appearance of clinical symptoms and confirmed diagnosis was 26.0 months on average(range from 18 to 36 months).At a mean 19-month follow-up,all patients showed significant improvements including VAS decrease,no recurrence,pain relief and normal range of motion.Conclusion The atypical clinical features and radiographic findings of osetoid osteoma might lead to the delayed diagnosis.Using arthroscopy to remove intro-articular osteoid ostema was a safe and effective way.

Objective To investigate the safety and obtain parameters of microeoagulation of dorsal root entry zone (DREZ) of cervical cord with bipolar foreps on animal model,and provide histological base for clinical application of treatment of brachial plexus avulsiol pain using microcoagulation of dorsal root entry zone.Methods On the base of swine's weight and spinal cord size in similar to human being,it was chosen to be experimental animal.The right DREZs of cervical cord were microcoagulated with bipolar forceps.The swines were fed in normal way.Their activities were observed.The mass change of the cervical cord segment were observed after 3 weeks and the cervical cord segment was fixed with 10% fromalin,paraffin sliced,HE dying.Coagulating space,depth and width were measured under microsope.The coagulating parameter were adjusted according to measuring outcome in order to achieving a most avaliable parameter.Results All post-op swine survived.When the microcogulation were made with bipolar forceps adopted following parame- ters:The distance of between the polar was 2.0 mm;The diameter of polar was 0.3 mm.The inserting depth 2 mm,the coagulated power 18 watt,the coagulated time was 2 second,then the width of lesions of DREZ in cross section was 1.15 mm and the depth of lesions was 3.10 mm,which was consistent with the area of hu- man DREZ of cervical cord.Conclusion The experiment on swine suggested,microcoagulation of DREZ by bipolar forceps is safe and no mortal complications when the testified parameters are adoped,and can achieve the area of DREZ of cervical cord in human.

To analyze the reasons of injuries during surgical practices and explore the hazards and the corresponding preventive measures. The surgical interns don't receive enough training of injury prevention. They don't pay enough attention to the occupational prevention and are not skilled in operation, which causes high rate of sharp edged instrument injuries. Therefore, a perfect plan of education, training and treatment must be made to reduce the occupational injuries and blood sourced diseases.

Objective To study the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome(SARA). Methods Clinical data from 682 patients with SARS were retrospectively analyzed. Results The patients ranged from 13 to 76 years old, 387 male and 295 female. A total of 356 patients (52.2) had a history of close contact with diagnosed SARS patients, and 113 (25.1%) had been to hospital ever. The most common symptom was fever (99.3%), followed by cough (44.4%), shortness of breath (12.2% ), diarrhea (8.9%). 596 patients (87.4%) had normal or decreased white blood cell counts. Serum ALT and CPK levels were elevated in 112 patients (16.4%)and 17 patients (2.5%) respectively. Infiltrates on chest radiography were seen in all patients, with 69.8% involved both lungs. Six patients (0.9%) died of SARS. Conclusion SARS is infectious. Hospital is an important place where SARS transmits. Fever, cough and infiltrative changes on chest radiography are mainly symptoms and signs.

OBJECTIVE To study the sterilization by gamma radiation on the cytokine levels in manually manipulated platelet concentrates, and its practicability. METHODS Manually manipulated platelet concentrates were irradiated by gamma ray at 25 Gy. Detected the quantity of cytokine levels after irradiation on dd 0, 1, 3, and 5. Platelet counts and pH value were detected on the d0 and d5. RESULTS The contents of cytokines increased with storage time both in irradiation and control groups. OBJECTIVETo explore the relationship between angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) gene single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) and premature coronary heart disease (PCHD) patients with blood stasis syndrome (BSS).

METHODSrs4343, rs4293, and rs4267385 were selected at SNP from ACE gene. Allele and genotype were detected. Frequencies of allele and genotype were compared by using time-of-flight mass spectrometry technique (TOF-MS).

RESULTSCompared with the healthy control group, genotype of rs4293 and rs4267385 in ACE gene were similar, but there was statistical difference in polymorphisms and allele frequencies of rs4343 in the I and II group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The frequency of G allele was higher in the 3 groups than in the healthy control group (P < 0.05, P < 0.01). The relative risk analysis showed that the risk for PCHD occurrence in G allele carriers at rs4343 (GG +AG) was 3. 6 times the risk in non-G allele carriers (95% CI: 1.224-10.585, P = 0.02). There was also statistical difference in sex, age, TC, and TG after adjusted Logistic regression analysis (OR = 3.994, 95% CI: 1.230-12.974, P = 0.021).

CONCLUSIONThe polymorphism at rs4343 (G2350A) might be one of risk factors for PCHD occurrence, but not a predisposing factor for PCHD patients of BSS.
