With the development of the thoracic surgery, clinicians are paying more and more attention to acute lung injury (ALI) following thoracic surgical procedures. Many factors may cause ALI during the operation. This review updates recent researches on the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of the ALI in thoracic surgical procedures.

objective: To observe the distribution of pegylated liposmal doxorubicin(PLD) in animal model of tongue cancer. Methods: Tongue cancer model was established in 40 golden hamster, PLD or free doxorubicin at the dose of 9 mg/kg was injected perifocally into each of 20 mice, the concentration of the drugs in lypmph node and blood was measured with HPLC. Results: After injection of free ADM peak concerntration in blood was acheived in 3 h and in lymph nodes in 1 h, while after injection of PLD, that was in 16 and 6 h respectively. The concertration of PLD was heigher than that of ADM in both blood and lymph node from 16 or 6 h till 216 h after injetion.Conclusion: PLD can be regarded as valuable drug delivery system in the treatment of oral cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To facilitate the application of Asarum forbesii Maxim. in the fields of medicine and fine chemicals. METHODS:The essential oil was extracted from Asarum forbesii Maxim. by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE), and the chemical constituents of essential oil were analyzed by GC-MS. RESULTS:22 constituents were identified, dominating the list were 1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid (mass fraction:20.47%), Eugenol methyl ether (15.37%),(Z)-9-Oleic acid(13.21%), 9,12-Octadecadienoic acid (Z, Z) (12.53%),Elemicin (11.05%), n-Hexadecanoic acid (7.59), Octadecanoic acid (4.36%). CONCLUSION:The method used on essential oil extraction serves as references for the further exploitation and utilization of Asarum forbesii Maxim..

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the dissolution of DEHP in PVC infusion set and the packaged infusion sets of the Paclitaxel injection so as to evaluate the safety of clinical infusion sets for paclitaxel.METHODS:The packaged infusion sets of Paclitaxel injection were collected from 9 Three-A grade hospitals in Chongqing.Paclitaxel injections were prepared as per actual concentration needed by the clinic and dripped through eight different infusion sets(in which 7 were packaged infusion sets) for 3 h.The peak area of the collected solution was measured and its content was determined by HPLC,and the effect of infusion time on the dissolution of DEHP was investigated as well.RESULTS:The dissolution of DEHP dripped through eight infusion sets were 1 408,9 393,6 576.5,2 412.6,8 194.4,0,8 477.2,and 8 037.4 ?g,respectively.The dissolution increased with the prolonging of infusion time.CONCLUSION:At present,the majority of packaged infusion sets of Paclitaxel injection were made form PVC materials.The safe medication of Paclitaxel can't be ensured for the dissolved DEHP can enter the blood directly,thus its hazardness should be given great attention.

The main nutrient compositions of dry Porphyra haitanensis cultivated in Lianjiang,Fujian Province were analyzed: the total amino acids content was 35.48%. The scores of amino acids were 71 for Ile and 80 for Leu. Crude fatty acids was as low as 0. 5%,in which EPA took 24.8%. Minerals in Porphyra haitanensis were abundant. The content of Ca、Fe、 Zn、Mg were 3. 63、0. 56、0. 095 and 3. 29mg?g～-1. The results indicated that Porphyra haitanensis is a kind of health food with high nutrition.

Objective To investigate the correlation of serum ereatine kinase iseenzyme-MB (CK-MB) and recent cardiac events(30 days, 180 days) and late cardiac events (360 days) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods Serum creatine kinase (CK) and CK-MB in 168 patients with ACS were measured, and these patients were divided into four groups according to the levels of CK and CK-MB. The occurrence of cardiac events analysis of CK and CK-MB was followed up for 30, 180 and 360 days and the relationship between the occurrence of cardiac events and the levels of CK and CK-MB were studied. Results There was statistical correlation between increased CK-MB and abnormal ECG Q wave, ST segment change (P< 0.05), 168 patients had followed up 30, 180 and 360 days, in which cardiac events happened in 57 common patients (64 examples), 27 examples (16.1%) happened in the recent cardiac event, and 37 examples(22.0%) happened in the late cardiac event. The cardiac event and CK-MB elevation had statistical correlation (P<0.05). Conclusion ACS patients with increased CK-MB levels prompt a poor prognosis, and could be an independent indicator of recent and late cardiac events in patients with ACS.

Objective To study the correlation between TSH decrease and post‐stroke depression .Methods 101 patients with acute brain infarction in our hospital from October 2012 to July 2014 were collected as the study subjects and divided into the TSH decrease group and the TSH normal group according to whether serum TSH levels less than 0 .27 uIU/mL .The two groups were evaluated on admission by the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) ,at 3 months after discharge by modifies Rankin′s Scale(mRS)and the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)respectively .Results The HAMD scores at 3 months in the TSH decrease group were significantly higher than those in the TSH normal group (16 .04 ± 3 .34 vs .14 .03 ± 3 .47 ,P=0 .000)and the mRS scores NIHSS score were significantly higher than those in the TSH normal (3 .2 ± 1 .1 vs .2 .1 ± 1 .5 ,P<0 .05)) .The ra‐tio of poor prognosis in the TSH decrease group was higher than that in the TSH normal group (89 .3% vs .38 .4% ,P<0 .05) ,in‐dicating that the prognosis in the TSH decrease group was poor .Conclusion The correlation could exist between the decrease of TSH level with post‐stroke depression .In acute brain infarction ,the patient with low TSH level could have the poor prognosis .

Objective To search for a procedure for correction of square face. Methods 68 patients with square face (aged from 21～40 years, with 65 females and 3 males) underwent osteetomy combined mandibular angle triangle resection with lateral cortex around the mandibular angle-splitting by intraoral approach. The mandible outer cortex was splited with bone chisel and mandible angle was resected by the high-speed pneumatic drill. The bulky masseter muscle and the enbonpoint buecal fat-pad were scissored. Results The application of high-speed pneumatic drill and bone chisel facilitated resection of the mandibular angle with lateral cortex splitting osteetomy. The operative effects were satisfactory in 56 patients during 3-24 months of follow-up. The bigonial distance was effectively re-duced, and facial shape became ellipse. The gross asymmetry and mandibular fracture were not conse-quences. The lateral contour of the mandibular angle was natural. Conclusion Ostectomy of mandible angle and lateral cortex of the mandible allows the reduction of the mandibular contour of the frontal view and the lateral contour of mandibular angle becomes soft, giving a more natural appearance. This new method is worthy to be applied widely because of the good result with effective reduction of the mandibular width.
