1.Development of University of Wisconsin (UW) solution in pancreatic transplantation
International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(9):607-609
The incidence of diabetes has a rapid increase trend trend in the whole world. In China, the incidence has come to 3%. The most of patients with type Ⅰ and part of type Ⅱ diabetes rely on exogenious insulin to control blood glucose;they not only have to bear the uncomfortbleness of insulin injection, but also inevitably to face the forward complications, so,the main concern in recent years is to rebuild the endogenous insulin secretion system. Many experiments show that pancreas transplantation not only can stop the development of insulin dependent diabe-tes, but also revert the already existing complications, just like with other organ transplants, the organ access and preservation is prerequisite for success. Because of the specificity of pancreas tissue, the effects of different organ preservation solution for the preservation of the pancreas varies. In this paper we will talk about the effect of UW preservation solution in the pancreas transplantation.

Tumor surface antigen human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her2) is a type I receptor tyrosine kinase, which belongs to human epidermal growth factor receptor family. Her2-overexpression is associated with tumorigenesis and metastasis. Due to significant clinical effects, Her2-targeted cancer therapy especially therapeutic antibody has become the hot spot in the field of cancer treatment. Anti-Her2 antibody drugs include monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, bispecific antibodies and emerging "two in one" antibody. Based on structure and function of Her2, this review focuses on recent advances in active mechanisms and clinical researches of these antibodies.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(02):-
Objective To study the function of hepatocyte growth factor/scatter factor(HGF/SF) in the (proliferation) of colorectal cancer cells. Methods The expression of c-met,the receptor of HGF,was(detected) in Caco-2 and Colo320 cell lines by Western blot. The activation of p42/p44MAPK and p38MAPK induced by HGF in these two cell lines was observed.Observation of the effect of the inhibitor of p42/p44MAPK(PD98059),p38MAPK(SB203580) on the inhibition of HGF-induced proliferation of Caco-2 and Colo320 cells were made by Using -TdR,MTT assay.Results(1)Both cell lines(expressed) the c-met.(2)HGF activated p42/p44MAPK and p38MAPK,and 20ng/ml HGF treated cells showed maximum activity in both to be within 10min.(p42/p44MAPK,2.28?0.01;p38MAPK,2.25?0.01).(3)HGF was found to significantly increase thymidine incorporation(P

Objective To compare the clinical effectiveness of incision-thread-drawing procedure and incision and drainage procedure in the treatment of perianal abscess. Methods Clinical data collected from 110 patients with perianal abscess were retrospectively analyzed.Forty-six cases were treated with incision-thread-drawing procedure(therapy group) and 64 with incision and drainage procedure(control group). Results Recurrence rate and incidence of anal fistula were 4%(2/46) and 4%(2/46) in therapy group, respectively, significantly lower than those in control group(19% and 23%,P

Objective To study the expression and significance of survivin and cyclin D 1 in hepatic cellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods The expression of survivin and cyclin D 1 were detected in 61 cases of HCC by immunohistochemistry. Results The expressive rates of survivin and cyclin D 1 in HCC were 44.3% and 39.3%.Both survivin and cyclin D 1 rates in the lower-differentiated group were significantly higher than those in the well-differentiated (P

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2006;0(08):-
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of interventional therapy for the atherosclerotic renal artery occlusion (ARAO). Methods During the period of June 2001-Dec. 2007, 16 patients with ARAO (total of 16 occluded arteries) underwent interventional managements, including percutaneous endovascular renal artery revascularization, balloon dilatation angioplasty and stent placement. Follow-up survey was made at regular intervals. The patent condition of the renal artery was evaluated with ultrasonography and digital subtraction angiography. The blood pressure and the renal function were determined and the data were statistically analyzed in order to assess the intermediate and long-term effect of the interventional therapy. Results Of 16 patients, technical success was achieved in 15 (93.8%) and failure occurred in one. During a follow-up period of 9 - 24 months, 3 patients died. According to the data obtained at each patient’s last follow-up survey, the hypertension fell to normal in 3 (25.0%), was improved in 7 (58.3%) and showed no marked change in 2 patients (16.7%), with a clinical efficacy of 83.3% (10 / 12). The renal function was improved in 2 (16.7%), stabilized in 6 (50%) and deteriorated in 4 patients (33.3%), with an effective rate of 66.7% (8 / 12). Conclusion For the treatment of atherosclerotic renal artery occlusion, the interventional therapy carries high successful rate and can effectively lower the blood pressure level, in addition, it can also protect the renal function in a certain degree.

0.05).It was revealed that all the patients followed up 3 to 6 months after treatment were free from complaints of the involved teeth, with nomal food intake and mastication. No abnormal adjacent tissues of dental roots were detected by imaging examination. Conclusion For the vital teeth, the similar clinical effect may be obtained by one-visit RCT and multi-visit RCT.
