OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effect of Lingtong Capsule (LC) in treating primary dysmenorrhea (PD).

METHODSTotally 59 PD patients took LC, while 59 patients in the placebo group took placebo capsule, two pills immediately when they felt dysmenorrhea. Their pain levels were quantitatively classified. The pain score was assessed at an interval of 30 min using visual analogue scale/score (VAS) while taking medicine and within two h after taking medicine. It was assessed as effective when the pain level was reduced by more than or equal to 50% within 2 h.

RESULTSThe total effective rate was 69.49% (41/ 59) in the LC group and 20.34% (12/59) in the placebo group (P < 0.01). The analgesia effect was obviously superior in the LC group 60 min after taking medicine (P < 0.01). LC showed better effect in treating mild, moderate, and severe PD (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONLC showed obvious analgesia effect on PD.

Objective:To investigate the oral-maxillofacial pain and t he surface electromyographic (EMG) activity of masseter muscles and anterior and posterior portions of temporalis muscles after experimental interference. Methods:A cast onlay of 0.5 mm in height was placed on the right low er first molar and remained for three days in 10 adult volunteers with normal oc clusion and without any symptom of TMD. The oral-maxillofacial pain was continu ously scored on a visual analogue scale(VAS)by the subjects before and after t he placement of the onlay. At the same time, the integral data of surface EMG we re recorded, and then the asymmetry index of the activity of bilateral muscles w as calculated. Objective To report the experience on the modified Abb? flap for correction of mild tightness of the corrected cleft lip deformity. Methods Forty-two patients with a mild or moderately tight lip deformity after primary unilateral cleft lip repair were performed a modified Abb? flap for correcting tight upper lip. The operative technique was that the pocket was creased for the vermilion tubercle by splitting the lip. The skin was incised several millimeters beyond the vermilion-skin border and was moved laterally for a distance equal to the breadth of the vermilion tubercle. The orbicularis oris muscle and the full length of the upper lip vermilion were incised. By releasing the tension, the slight concavity, expressed in profile by the slight pout which a normal upper lip had in cross section, was obtained. The Abb? flap that was taken from the central portion of the lower lip vermilion, was designed to repair the vermilion tubercle and the Cupid's bow. The flap was approximately 8 mm in width. The full length of the lower lip vermilion and the orbicularis oris muscle were incorporated. A ting portion of skin was included, which facilitated closure of the donor site, The flap, based on the labial vessels, was rotated 180?and sutured into the created defect of the upper lip. The pedicle was divided 10 days after operation. Results Forty-two patients all showed an obvious Cupid's bow, Cupid's bow peak, the median tubercle and the height and width of the upper lip. The scarring of the base of the nose was not obvious. Conclusion Use of modified Abb? flap to reconstruct the contour of the upper lip is successful in patients with cleft lip.

AIM:To establish a capillary electrophoresis with field-amplified sample stacking method for the separation and determination of aconitine alkaloid in Xiaohuoluo Pills. METHODS: An uncoated fused-silica capi-llary column(50 ?m i.d.?43 cm,effective length 35 cm) was used.The running buffer was 60 mmol/L phosphate electrolyte solution(pH=6.0)-acetonitrile(8(∶)2).The ruuning voltage was 10 kV and the capillary inlet was dipped in water for 5 s with 3.5 kPa prior to electrokinetic injection(12 kV,30 s).The detection wavelength was 235 nm. RESULTS: This method allowed 400 fold enrichment of aconitine alkaloid.A good linear relation was obtained in the range of 37.5～2.4?10~3 ng/mL (r=0.999 5),with the detection limit of 9.4 ng/mL.The average recovery was 97.6% with the RSD of 1.9%. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,rapid,specific and selective with high stacking efficiency;it provides a new reliable means for production and quality control of Xiaohuoluo Pills.

Objective: To analyze the status of colorectal cancer screening results in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou City from 2020 to 2022, so as to provide the evidence for developing prevention and control strategies for colorectal cancer. Methods: According to Colorectal Cancer Screening Program for Zhejiang Key Populations, residents registered in Shangcheng District and at ages of 50 to 74 years were recruited and screened using Zhejiang Provincial Questionnaires for Assessment of Risk of Colorectal Cancer Screening among High-risk Populations and fecal immunochemical test (FIT). Residents positive for questionnaires or FIT, or both positive for questionnaires and FIT were served as a positive screening and colonoscopy should be underwent. The rates of positive screening, compliance of colonoscopy and different pathological diagnosis results were analyzed. Results: Totally 118 227 residents were screened in Shangcheng District from 2020 to 2022, with a positive rate of 16.00%. The positive rates of questionnaires, FIT and both questionnaires and FIT were 8.14%, 6.46% and 1.40%, respectively. Colonoscopy was performed among 6 501 cases, with a compliance rate of 34.37%. Colonoscopy detected 3 689 cases with colorectal lesions, with a detection rate of 56.75%. The detection rates of colorectal cancer, pericancer lesions and other benign lesions were 1.12%, 9.15% and 46.47%, respectively. The detection rates of positive screening, colorectal lesions and pericancer lesions were higher in men (22.16%, 61.25% and 12.45%) than those in women (11.62%, 51.98% and 5.67%; all P<0.05). The detection rates of positive screening, colorectal lesions, colorectal cancer and pericancer lesions appeared a tendency towards a rise with age (all P<0.05). The detection rates of positive screening and colorectal lesions appeared a tendency towards a decline, and the compliance rate of colonoscopy appeared a tendency towards a rise from 2020 to 2022 (all P<0.05). The detection rate of pericancer lesions was higher among questionnaire and FIT positive residents (65.37%, P<0.05). Conclusions The detection rates of colorectal cancer and pericancer lesions in Shangcheng District from 2020 to 2022 were 1.12% and 9.15%, respectively. Men, the elderly, questionnaire and FIT positive residents are key populations, and the compliance of colonoscopy for the populations should be improved.

Objective To evaluate the value of serum galactomannan (GM) detection for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) diagnosis. Methods The suspicious IPA patients were divided into proven,clinical and possible IPA groups. The patients excluded of IPA were recruited as controls. The serum GM concentration was detected by Platelia Aspergillus double?sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Re?sults In the 103 patients,there were seven cases diagnosed as proven,nineteen cases diagnosed as clinical and forty cases diagnosed as possible IPA patients. Setting 0.5 as the optimal result for GM detection,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive values and negative predictive values of GM were 85.7%,86.5%,55%and 97%,respectively. In non?neutropenia patients combinded with the pulmonary chronic diseases,the sensitivity, specificity,positive predictive values and negative predictive values of GM detection were 71.4%,84.4%,66.75%and 87.1%,respectively. Conclu?sion Index>0.5 for GM test could increase the sensitivity without obvious decreased specificity. GM detection could provide valuable information in patients of non?neutropenia underlying the pulmonary chronic diseases,which had a better sensitivity and specificity versus conventional diagnostic tests.

OBJECTIVE:To optimize the inclusion process of the volatile oil of Pogostemon cablin and Acorus tatarinowii in Xiaoyu anshen capsule.METHODS:The inclusion process was carried out by saturated water solution method.And the inclusion process was optimized by orthogonal experiment with the inclusion ratio and yield of the volatile oil as indexes taking the ratio of volatile oil to ?-CD,the temperature and the time of inclusion as factors.The physical phase of the inclusion complex was detected by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).RESULTS:The optimum inclusion process was established as follows:the ratio of oil to ?-CD=1∶8;the ratio of water to ?-CD=10∶1;the inclusion time was 1h and the inclusion temperature was 50 ℃.The inclusion rate was as high as 90%.The DSC revealed that a new physical phase has been formed for the inclusion complex.CONCLUSION:The intermolecular inclusion complex with good stability and high yield of volatile oil could be obtained from the optimized inclusion process.
