Objective To explore the difference of clinical features and laboratory indexs with different vasovagal responses in(head-up) tilt test(HUT) in children with vasovagal syncope(VVS).Methods Forty consecutive children diagnosed with VVS by HUT were analyzed.The vasovagal responses were divided into vasodepressor,cardioinhibitory and mixed patterns.The distribution and different clinical features and laboratory indexs of different response patterns in the VVS were studied.Results The most common vasovagal response was vasodepressor.There was no significant difference in their clinical features,including the motivation,presymptom,frequency and duration of syncope,baseline heart rate and blood pressure,and serum electrolytes among the children with different vasovagal respon-ses.Conclusion Vosodepressor response is the most common hemodynamic pattern in vasovagal syncope in children.

Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI in differentiating vertebral metastatic tumors from benign deseases after studying the early changes of signal intensity.Methods Twenty patients were scanned by dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI.The parameters of signal intensity were measured and calculated,and time-intensity cures(TICs)were drawn.Then,they were compared with those of normal verte- braes,the characteristics were analyzed.Results The parameters of vertebral metastatic tumors:peak signal intensi- ty,signal intensity minimum signal intensity of post-peak,peak slope,initial ratio of enhancement,maximum ratio of enhancement was respectively(50.61?11.38),(46.75?10.23),(0.73?0.12),(0.33?0.08),(1.03?0.31); that of normal vertebraes was respectively(40.53?12.12),(34.72?14.06),(0.31?0.11),(-0.25?0.05), (0.69?0.28);and ten normal cases showed negative in initial percent of enhancement,but only two abnormal ver- tebraes showed that.All of the above had significant statistical difference.Four types of TICs were concluded:early rapid rise and early rapid descent followed by steady phase(type A),persistently rise(type B),rise phase followed by steady phase(type C),rise phase followed by rapid descent phase(type D).TICs of abnormal vertebraes were respec- tively 6,5,5,5 cases;types of normal vertebraes were mainly type C,15 cases.Type A and type B and the type with the characteristic of early rapid descent phase were features of abnormal vertebraes;type C was the feature of normal ones.Conclusions Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI could quantitatively show the characteristics of early changes of signal intensity of vertebral metastatic tumors,which were significant statistically different from those of normal ver- tebraes.Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI was worth performing in the early diagnosis of vertebral metastatic tu- mors.

Objective To quantitatively evaluate the left ventricular systolic synchrony in patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT-3DE). Methods Thirty patients with CRF and twenty-five normal subjects were enrolled in this study.The M-mode ejection fraction (M-EF), left ventricular end diastolic internal diameter (LVIDd), interventricular septum diameter (IVSd), left ventricular posterior wall diameter (LVPWd) were obtained on two-dimension. The global and regional volume-time curves were obtained on three -dimensional. The end diastolic volume (LVEDV),end systolic volume (LVESV) and ejection fraction (LVEF) of left ventricule, the time to minimal systolic volume (Tmsv) of 16,12,6-segmental standard deviation (Tmsv16, 12, 6-SD), maximal difference (Tmsv16, 12, 6-Dif) were derived from Qlab software . The above parameters as a percentage of the cardiac cycle with different heart rates between patients were also calculated from the Qlab software, which were Tmsv16, 12, 6-SD% and Tmsv16, 12, 6-Dif %, rspectively. Results The indices of HR, LVIDd, IVSd, LVPWd and LVESV were significantly higher while LVEF was significantly lower in the CRF group than those of the control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01); The indices of systolic asynchrony of Tmsv16,12-SD%, Tmsv16,12-Dif, Tmsv16 ,12 ,6-SD/R-R%,Tmsv16,12,6-Dif/R-R% were significantly larger in the CRF group than those of the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusions RT-3DE provides a simple, intuitional and noninvasive approach to assess the systolic synchrony of all the LV segments simultaneously and LVEF in patients with chronic renal failure.

Objective To evaluate the situation of blood concentration detection in Zunyi city by the way of analyzing the practice of blood concentration detection for the past 4 years .Methods The bood samples of 194 928 persons who were voluntary blood donators since full implementation of centralized blood test from February 2011 to December 2014 were analysed .Results The unqualified rates of the 5 detection indicators from the seven blood center banks were closed to the centre blood station ,which was rang from 3 .15% to 4 .85% ,the total unqualified rate was 3 .72% and no significant difference was found(P> 0 .05) .Since the concentration of blood detection ,blood donators in the 7 blood center blood banks increased year by year .Conclusion Blood concen-tration detection improves the blood test quality in this single region ,and promotes the development of blood donation career .

Objective To explore the characteristics of MR perfusion imaging in normal pancreas and pancreatic cancer.Methods 20 cases of normal pancreas(without pancreatic diseases)and 20 cases with pancreatic cancer,underwent MR perfusion imaging using PHILIPS 1.5T unit with T1WI 3DFFE.12?4 collimation, 4 mm slice thickness ,20ml Gadopentetic Acid Dimeglumine 0.5mmol/ml Magnevist were used, the flow rate was 3.5 ml/s with a power injection,5 seconds delay,and data acquisition lasted for 90 seconds.These data were processed on a View Forum workstation using MR Brest Imaging(in Qualitity Analysis)software package ,and the mean maximum relative enhancement,wash in rate, wash out rate, time to peak, time of arrival and area under the curve were measured and statistically analyzed.Results The data of perfusion imaging in normal pancreas and carcinous pancreas were as followed respectively:maximum relative enhancement 95.69% and 50.74%,wash in rate 19.511/s and 4.471/s,wash out rate 26.051/s and 19.151/s,time to peak 31.33 s and 106.84 s,time of arrival 20.53 s and 64.70 s,area under the curve 15924.56 ml/(min? kg) and 5542.85 ml/(min ?kg).t-test showed that the difference of the perfusion data between normal pancreas and carcinous pancreas were significant(P

Preliminary research in our laboratory found that compound YZG-330 can reduce mouse body temperature, which could be blocked by adenosine A₁ receptor (A₁R) antagonist DPCPX. Based on the downstream signaling pathway of the A₁R, the mechanism by which YZG-330 lowers body temperature was further studied. The pharmacodynamics of YZG-330 was evaluated by measuring the rectal temperature; expression of the transient receptor potential (TRP) ion channel, the P38 protein and its phosphorylated form in mouse hypothalamic homogenate were detected by Western blotting. A Ca²⁺ fluorescent probe, Fluo-3AM, was added to cells to detect the effect of YZG-330 on the Ca²⁺ content of mouse hypothalamic cells. YZG-330 dose-dependently reduced the body temperature in mice, and the selective P38 inhibitor SB-203580 (20 mg·kg^-1, i.p.) significantly inhibited the hypothermic effect of YZG-330. A TRPM8 antagonist 2 (0.1 μg per mouse, i.c.v.) markedly attenuated the hypothermic effect of YZG-330 (0.25 or 1 mg·kg^-1, i.p.). YZG-330 (2 mg·kg^-1, i.p.) significantly increased the phosphorylation of P38, an effect that could be attenuated by the A₁R antagonist DPCPX (5 mg·kg^-1, i.g.) in mouse hypothalamus. In addition, YZG-330 also prominently enhanced the expression of TRPM8, which could be blocked by SB-203580; YZG-330 (0.1-10 μmol·L^-1) increased intracellular Ca²⁺ concetration in mouse hypothalamic cells in a dose-dependent manner, and was inhibited by the A₁R inhibitor DPCPX (0.5 and 1 μmol·L^-1) and TRPM8 antagonist 2 (1 μmol·L^-1). In conclusion, YZG-330 exerts its hypothermic effect by activating the A₁R to promote the phosphorylation of P38 protein and thereby up-regulating the expression and activity of the TRPM8 ion channel, resulting in increased intracellular Ca²⁺ concentration to stimulate mouse hypothalamus cells to down-regulate body temperature. OBJECTIVETo study the protective effect of Acai berries(Euterpe oleraceae) on chronic alcoholic hepatic injury in rats and their mechanism.

METHODWistar rats were fed for 1 week and randomly divided into blank group, model group, Dongbao Gantai group, Acai 1.6, 0.8, 0.4 g . kg-1 groups. The blank group was given distilled water, and the other groups were orally given 56% white spirit (Erguotou) for eight weeks at the dosages of 8 mL . kg-1 in the 1st week, which increased by 0.1 mL week by week till to 15 mL . kg-1, in order to establish the chronic hepatic injury model, and observe the effect of Acai berry freeze-dried powder on hepatocyte membrane permeability, liver lipid peroxidation, changes in inflammatory cytokines and pathological changes in hepatocytes.

RESULTAcai berries could significantly reduce serum ALT and AST(P<0.05), MDA(P<0.05), TG(P<0.05) and serum TNF-α and IL-6(P <0.05) and increase GSH and SOD(P <0.05). According to liver histopathological observation, livers in the model group were dominated by steatosis, some livers suffered spotty necrosis and inflammatory cell infiltration; The positive drug and Acai groups showed different changes in pathologic changes in rat livers.

CONCLUSIONAcai berries show s specific protective effect on alcoholic hepatic injury. Its mechanism may be correlated with the inhibition of such inflammatory factors as TNF-α and IL-6.
