1.Effect of glucocorticoid/glucocorticoid receptor on homeostasis of cell number
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(02):-
Glucocorticoid(GC) /glucocorticoid receptor(GR) inhibits cell proliferation and protects cells from apoptosis induced by serum deprivation, hypoxia, irradiation or chemotherapy drugs in many cell types, thereby GC/GR can maintain cell number homeostasis, which is an important aspect of homeostasis regulation of GC/GR in higher organisms. This article reviews antiproliferative and antiapoptotic effects of GC/GR on cell and their molecular mechanism, mainly focusing on the molecular events and target genes downstream of GC/GR.
2.Surveillance of intestinal helminthiasis in Dafeng City from 2005 to 2010
Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(6):701-702
Objective To understand the current status of intestinal helminth infections in Dafeng City. Methods The resi?dents in 5 villages of Dafeng City were investigated and their stool samples were detected for the eggs of helminth with Kato?Katz technique and Enterobius vermicularis was detected by the cellophane anal swab method. Results The total infection rates of intestinal helminth were 5.77% 5.51% 4.60% 4.18% 3.41% and 1.38% from 2005 to 2010 respectively. The trend of total infection rates declined year by year. The infection rates in the 20?30 age?group and 60?80 age?group were higher than those in other age?groups. The infection rates of the male and female were 5.63 359/6 375 and 2.42 144/5 949 re?spectively and there was a significant difference χ2=74.81 P=0.00 . The infection rate 11.70% in the northern areas of Dafeng City was higher than that in other places and the trend of the infection rates decreased from the eastern and northern to the western and southern. The infection rate of E. vermicularis was 1.75%in children in 2010. Conclusions The infection rate of intestinal helminth is low but E. vermicularis infection is relatively general in the children in Dafeng City. Therefore the pre?vention and treatment still need to be strengthened.
4.Experimental Study of Anti-hepatofibrotic Action of 18?-glycyrrhizic Acid in Rats
China Pharmacy 2001;0(09):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the anti-hepatofibrotic action of 18?-glycyrrhizic acid(18?-GL) and gamma interferon (IFN-?) in rats METHODS:The rat model of liver fibrosis was induced by dimethyl nitrosamine(DMN),18?-GL or IFN-? was administrated before and 5 weeks after giving DMN,to prevent and treat liver fibrosis The pathological changes and degree of fibrosis in the liver were observed and compared with that of DMN control group RESUTLS:Compared to DMN control group, the collagen deposition in both 18?-GL and INF-? groups was significantly slight in degree(P
5.Advances in the pathogenesis of primary intrahepatic cholelithiasis
Chinese Journal of Hepatobiliary Surgery 2011;17(2):168-170
Primary intrahepatic stone is a common disease in China. It is difficult to treat this benign biliary tract disease because it has many complications and the surgery is difficult. Understanding the cause of this disease has important implications in prevention and treatment. This article reviewed the cause of primary intrahepatic stone from four aspects: imbalance of bile components, infection, bile protein, and macromolecular and metabolism of the cells.
6.Inhibitory Effect of Antibody Against Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor on Androgen or Glucocorticoid-induced Growth of Shionogi Carcinoma 115 Cells
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1994;0(01):-
The effects of androgen and glucocorticoid on the proliferation of SC-3 mouse breast carcinoma cells and their mechanisms were investigated in a serum-free culture. Both physiological concentrations of testosterone ( T) and pharmacological concentrations of dexamethasone ( Dex) significantly increased the cell proliferation. The growth-stimulatory effects of two hormones were mediated through their own receptors.SC-3 cells stimulated by T and Dex were also found to secrete fibroblast growth factor (FGF) like factor into conditioned medium (CM) . The addition of anti-FGF antibody in the medium inhibited T, Dex and bFGF-induced proliferation of SC-3 cells. Furthermore, the presence of FGF receptors in SC-3 cells were demonstrated. These results indicated that androgen and glucocorticoid-in-duced enhancement of SC-3 cell growth is mediated through an induction of FGF-like growth factor which acts on SC-3 cells as an autocrine growth factor.
7.Treatment strategies for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2013;22(1):28-31
Multiple myeloma is a malignancy of plasma cells, which is still incurable now.Despite dramatic improvement of the response rate and overall survival have been made due to the application of target therapy and stem cell transplantation, the treatment effect is difficult to maintain, nearly all patients will eventually relapse and become refractory. At relapse, the challenge is to select the appropriate treatment for each patient. The decision will be both disease-dependent and patient-dependent.
8.Intraductal papilloma of parotid gland in 1 case
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2014;(5):727-728
1 case of intraductal papilloma of parotid gland was analyzed by means of clinicopathologic data,hematoxylin-eosin and immuno-histochemical staining.Combined with the relevant literature, clinical pathological features, diagnosis and treatment of the salivary gland intra-ductal papilloma were discussed.
9.Expression of Cytokine in Peripheral Blood of Newborns with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy and Its Clinical Significance
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To observe the expression of CD_(25),CD_(25) mRNA,interleukin-1?(IL-1?) in peripheral blood of newborns with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) and its clinical significance. Methods The peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC) of newborns with HIE and normal controls were isolated by routine Ficoll-Hypaque,and the level of CD_(25) induced and non-induced by phytohernagglutinin(PHA) were detected by biotin-streptavidin(BSA),CD_(25) mRNA was detected by real-time PCR and IL-1? in serum was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay on the first, third and seventh day after birth. The final expressive level of CD_(25) mRNA was based on rate of CD_(25) cDNA and gluceraldehyde phosphase dehydrogenase(GAPDH).Results On the first day,the positive rates of CD_(25) induced and non-induced by PHA and IL-1? were(3.6?1.1)%,(20.9?4.8)%,(17.7?8.2) ng/L,respectively.There were significant differences in HIE group and normal controls(P0.05).Conclusions There is obvious inflammatory(rea)ction in babies with HIE.The main character of PBMC of newborns is all infantile and undifferentiated, which surface sign is infantile, and lower level of CD_(25) is expressed. However, the level of CD_(25) mRNA can be expressed consistently during the course of disease. The immunity and immune regulative response in newborns is gradually built up during the growth and can participate in recondition of brain injury caused by HIE.
10.Current situation and treatment of nosocomial infections of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2016;23(1):18-22
Nosocomial infection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a dilemma in clinic, especially at ICU with high rate of antibiotic resistance, and lead to ventilator associated pneumonia, bloodstream infections, etc. There are difficulties in the treatment, lengthening of ICU stay, high mortality and increased treatment costs.Positive prevention, early diagnosis, reasonable antiboitics are the key to the benign prognosis of Pseud-omonas aeruginosa.
