Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To explore the clinical feature, treatment and prognosis of neonatal small intestinal atresia. Methods Retrospective study was carried out of 80 neonatal small intestinal atresias over the last 14 years, including diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Results Of them,62 cases were healed(77.5%),18 cases were dead(22.5%),24 cases(30%)associated with other anomalities. The living cases were followed up for 6 months to 3 years. These symptoms had not relapse. Conclusions Satisfactry effect can be obtained by early diagnosis and operative treatment.Sonography is an ideal way for early finding intestinal atresias in a fetus.End-to-end single layer anastomosis is an ideal way for monointestinal atresia, and poly-end-to-end single layer anastomosis plus long gastrointestinal silicone tube for supporting is an ideal way for multipal intestinal atresia.

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(1):37-40
OBJECTIVETo compare differences of therapeutic effect between acupuncture method of tonifying-qi and dredging-meridian and conventional acupuncture method.
METHODSSeventy cases of blepharospasm were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 35 cases in each one. Cuanzhu (BL 2), Yuwei (Extra) through Yuyao (EX-HN 4), Xinming 1 (Extra), Sibai (ST 2) and Yintang (GV 29) were selected as main acupoints. The acupuncture method of tonifying-qi and dredging-meridian was applied in the observation group, which was an acupuncture manipulation that could achieve strong needling sensation of qi arrival combined with electric-impulse stimulation. The conventional acupuncture method was applied in the control group. The treatment was given once every other day, 10 times as a session for continuous three sessions in both groups. The severity of blepharospasm was compared before and after treatment in two groups and clinical therapeutic effect was assessed. Follow-up visit was performed after half a year to observe the recurrence rate.
RESULTSThe cured and markedly effective rate was 77.1% (27/35) in the observation group, which was superior to 51.4% (18/35) in the control group (P < 0.05). Among cured and markedly effective patients in both groups, the recurrence rate was 20.0% (4/20) in the observation group, which was inferior to 54.5% (6/11) in the control group (P < 0.05) in the follow-up visit.
CONCLUSIONThe acupuncture method of tonifying-qi and dredging-meridian could effectively improve severity of blepharospasm, which has superior short-term and long-term effects to conventional acupuncture method.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
Objective To study the combined effect of chlorotoluron and atrazine on the testis of mice. Methods Kunming mice were divided into groups and treated with chlorotoluron and atrazine alone or in combination by gavage at different doses for 25 consecutive days. Microscope and electron microscope were used to observe the morphological changes. Results The herbicides used alone or in combination, at all the test doses, caused the morphological changes in degrees in the testis. Under the light microscope, seminiferous epithelium arrayed loosely and disorderedly, spermatogenic cell shed, and layers lessened compared with the control group. Under the electron microscope, mitochondria in the seminiferous epithelium appeared vacuolated, karyotheca swelled, bent and the function of sustentacular cell declined. Compared with alone use groups, the pathological changes were more serious in combination use groups. Conclusion Chlorotoluron and atrazine can produce a combined toxic effect on the testis of mice.
5.The progress in the study for the risk factor of dental fluorosis
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2001;20(2):151-153
The risk factor of dental fluorosis are mainly related to the cancen tration of fluoride in the drinking water, the supplements of fluoride, nutrition states and regime, the time of fluoride exposure.Other factor such as the period of mother's milk feeding, the altitude of resident, the environmental pollution, the education degree of parents, and the level of health service of the community are also contributed to the development of dental fluorosis.Besides, the knowledge of dentists, the health habits of individual, the condition of economic, and so on is somehow the risk factor of dental fluorosis. The chances of fluoride exposure will become more often as the prosperous of the society. Thus any health policy of the complement of fluoride should be adapted to local conditions.

Objective To explore the effect of fibroblast growth factor receptors 1-dominant negative strategy (FGFR1-DN) on alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity of bone marrow stromal stem cells (BMSCs) after osteogenic induction. Methods BMSCs were transfected with eukaryotic expression plasmid pcDNA 3.1 (+)-DN FGFR1 and pcDNA3.1 (+)-FGFR1.The experiment was conducted in 4 groups:FGFR1-DN transfection group,FGFR1 transfection group,pcDNA3.1(+) empty vector transfection group and non-transfection group. The ALP activity of BMSCs was detected in logarithmic growth phase after osteogenic culture. The qualitative detection of ALP activity was carried out immunohistochemically while the quantitative detection by cALP kit.The ALP activity was compared between the 4 groups at 7 and 14 days after osteogenic induction. Results Compared with 7 days, the ALP activity at 14 days was significantly increased in the 4 groups, and the increase in FGFR1-DN transfection group was significantly higher than in the other 3 groups (P < 0.05).At both 7 and 14 days, the ALP activity in FGFR1-DN transfection group was the highest while that in FGFR1 transfection group was the lowest (P < 0.05).Conclusions FGFR1-DN can promote the ALP activity of BMSCs during osteogenesis. This may provide an experimental basis for the joint application of local gene therapy and tissue engineering and for construction of tissue engineered bone with better biocompatibility.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2013;38(23):4104-4108
Chemical investigation was carried out to study the alkaloids from stems of Nelumbo nucifera and their cytotoxic activities. The constituents were separated by column chromatography, and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic data analyses. The isolated compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities by MTr method. Fifteen compounds were isolated from the total alkaloids extract and identified as asimilobine (1), isococlaurine (2), N-acetylnorarmepavine (3), crykonisine (4), velucryptine (5), pycnarrhine (6), liriodenine (7), nuciferine (8), nornuciferine (9), armepavine (10), N-methylasimilobine (11), coclaurine (12), N-norarmepavine (13), N-methylcoclaurine (14) and lysicamine (15). Compounds 1-7 and 12-15 were isolated from stems of this plant for the first time, and compounds 2-6 were firstly isolated from the family Nelumbonaceae. Compounds 7-10, 13 and 14 showed significant cytotoxic activities against HL-60 carcinoma cell line with inhibitory ratios of 51.36%, 59.09%, 52.51%, 53.93%, 51.43%, and 64.31% at concentration of 1 x 10(-5) mol x L(-1), respectively.
