In order to improve the scientific research capability of medical graduates,help them cultivate scientific statistical mind and the ability to resolve actual medical scientific research issues,we made a teaching reform on the teaching objectives,curriculum system,teaching material and informational teaching of Medical Statistics teaching,established a diversified teaching pattern and improved the teaching quality.

Objective To study one simple, safe and effective method of periorbital rhytidectomy. Methods With turgescent anesthesia, 1 cm -extent was dissected laterally deep under musculus orbicularis oculi at the approach of eyebrow area. The musculus orbicularis oculi was fixed to the deep temporal fascia and frontal periosteum. The superciliary corrugator muscle and depressor muscle were exposured and cut. Then the eyelid blepharoalasty was performed through the skin incision, meanwhile the lateral pars orbitalis muscle was liberated to form an orbitalis muscle flap under the orbitalis muscle and the fat pad, which was fixed to the os orbitale periost by lifting tight to lateral and upper side. For patients with generous pars buccalis and obvious nose lip ditch, the cheekbone fat cushion was also hanged and fixed. Results 65 middle age female patients were followed up for 3～16 months. The scar was no obvious, glabellar wrinkle and canthal wrinkle disappeared at static state, relaxed upper eyelid and eyebrow prolapse reached to complete correct, nasolabial groove wrinkle obvious lessened. 95 % patients were satisfacted with the appearance. Conjunctival edema was found in 4 cases, and disappeared within 1 months. There were no facial nerve injury and other complications. Conclusions It is a new incisional approach that avoids the facial nerves and lessens fossa orbitalis retrogradation. The operative procedure is simple and safe, and its incision is occult. The wound is small and restores rapidly, but the effect is reliable and lasting. It proves to be an ideal approach for face rejuvenation.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of speech therapy on mental health of patients with aphasia. MethodsCRRCAE and SCL-90 were used to assess the speech and mental state in 28 aphasia patients. All aphasia patients were treated by using speech therapy and the changes before and after treatment were compared. ResultsThe scores in listening comprehension, repetition, naming, reading,reading comprehension, writing and counting were distinctly higher at post-treatment than that at pre-treatment. All SCL-90 factor's levels at post-treatment were distinctly reduced than that at preat post-treatment(P<0.01).Conclusions Speech therapy can improve the language function,as well as mitigate the mental symptoms.

The endophytic bacteria of the mangroves were studied in this paper. The results show that there are 1.728 (0. 195 -4.225)?104cfu/g (fw) bacterial endophytes in the variety of mangroves, the most population of the endophytic bacteria was found in Rhizophora stylosa, the figure was4. 225?104cfu/g (fw) , the next was Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Aegiceras corniculatum, Kandelia candel and Avicennia marina. In parts of the mangroves, the contents of the bacteria in stem was the most, the figure was 1. 649?10 cfu/g (fw) , then the root and the leaf. Of the bacteria, about 43. 53% strains expressed the antagonism against the growth of the plant pathogens, such as Fusarium oxyspontm f. sp. cubense , Colletotrichum sp. and Rahtonia solanaceance etc. and these bacteria were identified as Bacillus sp. . The results also showed that 9 of the 13 strains (69. 23% ) could promote the growth of the tomato, while 4 strains (30. 77% ) restrained the tomato's growth.

Objective To study the expression of VEGF-C and its receptor in breast carcinoma tissue and in peritumoral tissue,as well as their clinic significance.Methods Immunohistochemistry SP method was used to examine the expression of VEGF-C and VEGFR3 in 70 cases of breast cancer and in its peritu- moral tissue.Results In all 70 cases of breast cancer,the positive expression rate of VEGF-C in breast car- cinoma tissue was 78.6 %,and its rate in peritumoral tissue was 54.3 %.There was a significant stastistic dif- ference between the two groups(P
