Objective To apply EP7‐A2 document for evaluating the interference of hemolysis the total bilirubin detection in clinic .Methods The interferent was affirmed according to thepaired‐differencetest required by the EP7‐A2 document .The rela‐tion between interferent concentration and interference degree was analyzed by using the dose‐effect test .Results The paired‐difference test results showed that 5 .00 g/L hemoglobin had negative interference effect on two kinds of total bilirubin reagents . But the reagent kit A had little interference degree of hemolysis; The dose‐effect test results showed that hemoglobin produced the linear negative interference effect on the reagent kit A of total bilirubin detection .The linear equation of low value sample was Y=-0 .146X+14 .1 ,r=0 .964 ,which of middle value sample was Y = -0 .546X+92 .24 ,r=0 .947 and which of high value sample was Y= -1 .153X+307 .2 ,r=0 .979 .Conclusion Hemolysis has a negative interference effect on total bilirubin detection in clinic . The total bilirubin value could be corrected by using the hemoglobin concentration of sample;the EP7‐A2 document has certain ap‐plication value in the aspect of analyzing interference and evaluation .

Objective To evaluate the safety of dynamic anterior plate fixation for cervical distractive flexion injuries and compare its rigidity between different types of plate design. Methods Twelve sets of cadaveric calf spine were used in this test. All the specimens were made into distractive flexion injury models (C4-C5) ac- cording to Allen's method. After discectomy and grafting, they were randomized into three groups in which Orion, Codman, and Window instrumentations were used respectively. The stiffness of each construct was tested in flexion, extension, lateral bending and axial torsion conditions sequentially. Results Compared with an intact cervical spine, the range of motion (ROM) of an injured cervical spine increased whatever plate was applied. Orion in- strumentation presented stiffness the closest to that of the normal control, except for less torsional stiffness. Codman instrumentation provided stiffness close to that for normal and Orion groups only in lateral bending. Window's was the weakest mad not enough in all kinds of movement. Conclusions Static anterior fixation is the first choice for cervical injuries. Dynamic plate fixation may sacrifice stiffness to some extent, especially when a shifting kind of design is to be chosen.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of laboratory test resuits of dengue fever(DF)patients in Guangzhou area. Methods Routine tests were performed in the patients admission to hospital. Serology examination was performed in the patients in acute phase or recovery phase. The clinieal symptoms and teatures were analyzed and positive numbers and positivity ratios were calculated. Results The clinical symptoms of the dengue fever were typieal, with the features of fever, headache, myalgia and rash. The leukopenia rate was 76.0%,and the thromboeytopenia rate was 62.6%.The levels of ALT increased in 56.7%patients,and the levels of AST increased in 84.0%patients.Hypopotassemia was found in 46.1%patients.Dengue virus antibody IgM(DF-IgM)was detected positive from the first day to the 16th day of the onset, and the positive rate was 85.9% on the 8th day.Virus loads were positive by fluorescence real-time PCR in seven acute serum samples(within 3 days of the onset)of 51 cases whose DE-IgM were negative all the time, and the results was 105 -106 copies/ml(<103 copies/ml means negative). Conclusions Clinical manifestations of this DF epidemic were typical including fever, headache, myalgia and skin rash. Most of the patients had decreased leukocyte and thrombocyte obviously.Liver damage was common but kidney damage was seldom.Halt of the patients got hypopotassemia.DF-IgM appeared in very early and persisted for a long time. The detection of DF-IgM within 7 days of the onset was helpful for diagnosis as early as possible.Viral load detected by real-time PCR could be another indicator of early pathogen diagnosis which provides complementation for antibody detection.

OBJECTIVETo study the result of less invasive fixation in treating comminuted fracture of distal tibia.
METHODSFrom 2002 to 2008, 48 patients with comminuted fracture of distal tibia were treated with surgery. The closed reduction and less invasive fixation were done to stable broken fibula, and the reduction by Kirschner wire to pick was used for relatively larger debris of tibia. The Kirschner wire or screw were used to fix fracture after the restore of the ankle cavity position and the alignment of the tibia. Partial weight loading and functional exercise of ankle joint were done at 6th week after operation.
RESULTSForty-eight patients were followed up for 1-24 months with an average of 12 months. All the fractures were united. According to Johner-Wruhs standard to value the result by factors of pain, deformity, motion range of joint, with or without injury of nerve and blood vessel. Thirty-eight cases obtained excellent result, 8 good, fair 2. The rate of excellent and good were 95.8%.
CONCLUSIONLess invasive fixation has ascendancy such as easy operation, less injury of soft tissue, reliable fixation, which can maximally protect periosteum. It is a choice for treating comminuted fracture of distal tibia.

OBJECTIVETo study the influence of Jiangzhining decoction on the genetic expression of Liver LDLR of the rats suffered from hyperlipemia.
METHODLaboratory animals were male wister rats with hyperlipemia resulting from high fat feeding. Prescription was the douche of stomach with Jiangzhining decoction (200%) with a dosage of 1.4 g.kg-1, for 15 successive days. Total RNA was extracted from the liver tissue of treated rats and LDLRmRNA was detected by Dot blot hybridization. Expression levels of LDLRmRNA was estimated by a ratio of LDLRmRNA and beta-actin mRNA.
RESULTThe difference between expression levels of LDLRmRNA for normal group and those for hyperlipemia group (100% +/- 19% vs 39% +/- 14%) was significant (P < 0.05); and the difference between decoction group (108 +/- 8%) and hyperlipimia group was also highly significant (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONHigh fat feeding reduces the expression of liver LDLRmRNA while the decoction can greatly increase it. The study and development of Jiangzhining are significant in preventing and curing cadiocerebral diseases.

Objective To characterize the immunogenicity in gene immunization of the conserved regions of hepatitis C virus(HCV) based on different delivery strategies. Methods We first constructed a novel DNA vaccine encoding a fusion gene(from partial NS3 and Core) of HCV. Then we compared different protocols based on naked DNA injection twice or DNA injection with gene electrotransfer(GET) in BALB/c mice. The immune response was measured by antibody ELISA and by IFN-gamma ELISPOT. Results Our data showed that a protocol based on intradermally injection of DNA with optimal GET induced the strongest humoral and cellular immunity, and DNA with GET induced a substantially higher anti-NS3/Core T cell re-spoase than naked DNA injection. Conclusion Our data suggest that DNA vaccines encoding NS3/Core fu-sion protein of HCV immunized by the present strategy could merit further study in the context of future prophylactic and therapeutic HCV T cell based vaccines.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2013;21(2):311-314
The objective of this study was to investigate the pathological characteristics of leukemia patients with secondary myelofibrosis and their relationship with prognosis. The pathological characteristics of 29 leukemia patients with secondary myelofibrosis were observed, the degree of hyperplasia between bone marrow smear and biopsy, as well as the changes of myelofibrosis after treatment were compared, and their relationship with the prognosis was analysed. The results indicated that the myelofibrosis may cause the decrease of pseudoepitheliomatous in bone marrow smear, and the increase of reticulin could be observed except the primary pathological characteristics in the biopsy with Gomori staining ++ - +++, and the secondary myelofibrosis could be alleviated after treatment. The overall prognosis of these patients was poor. It is concluded that the bone marrow biopsy has the important diagnostic value for the leukemia patients with secondary myelofibrosis, and the myelofibrosis can be alleviated after treatment, but the overall prognosis of leukemia patients with secondary myelofibrosis is poor.
