1.Observation of the Somatosensory Evoked Potentials and the Effect of CDP-choline in Rabbit with Brain Ischemia
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(03):-
Global ischemia model was produced in rabbit by occluding bothvertibral and common carotid arteries. During brain ischemia the onset and peaklatencies of SEPs gradually increased, the amplitudes became lower, till all wavesdisappeared. After reconstruction of brain blood flow the latencies decreased andthe amplitudes increased to the control level. CDP-choline improved the recoveryof SEPs caused by brain ischemia obviously.
2.Component Elements and Their Relationship of Development of Assistive Technology Cause (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2017;23(4):475-480
Devices and services are the most basic elements of assistive technology, and the professionals training and study are the drive for the development of high quality of assistive technology;social consciousness, policies and laws which focus on the independence and social participation of people with disabilities are key elements and necessary social backgrounds. Assistive technology products will have good markets only if people with disabilities can afford them and have an environment in which they can use them. The component ele-ments of assistive technology field will enhance each other only when assistive technology products can be widely used.
3.Advance in Assistive Technology for Children with Cerebral Palsy: Functional Features and Typical Products (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;20(11):1053-1056
The assistive devices for children with cerebral palsy are various to meet the special needs, which involve position, mobility, communication, education, career, etc. It tends to be accurate function and a variety of functional integration in position and mobility products.Various series of augmentation alternative communication device have been developed. A large number of assistive technology products have been developed in education, independent live, social skill and therapy fields, and Apps are the important components among them. Various techniques of information and switch have been applied, which may revolutionize the assistive industry.
4.Consideration of Assistive Technology in Individualized Educational Program: Based on SETT Framework
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2013;19(5):421-425
This article introduced the methods and skill by the procedure about consideration of assistive technology in the individualized educational program (IEP) under the SETT framework, including considering a student's need for assistive technology, gather information of the student, assessing and matching of assistive technology, solution generation, documenting the solution in the IEP, implementation plan. The Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology Services (QIAT) and the people component of the IEP team were also introducd in the article.
5.Assistive Technology under American Acts for People with Disabilities
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2013;19(11):1082-1086
This paper introduced the key right of people with disabilities for assistive technology under the U.S. laws, including The Rehabilitation Act, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Assistive Technology Act and Americans with Disabilities Act. The assistive technology right involved occupation rehabilitation, employment and education and public area. The related agency needs to respond to these requirement. China can learn some from these acts.
6.Laws and Policies of Assistive Technology Service in Canada
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2011;17(6):589-591
The paper studied legislation, policies, government participation through investigations and internet resources and has a complete cognition of assisitive devices condition in Canada. Canadian Federal Government encourages, guides and participates in assistive technology exploiting based on non-discrimination legislation. Assistive technology service system has been running well in social consciousness, funding, quality and varieties of assistive devices, professional service, necessary social environment and public service.
8.The gaseous signaling molecules and their roles in pathophysiological processes in the prostate
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
Endogenous NO and CO have been identified in the recent years as signaling molecules and act as the messengers in the body . Both of them have identical characteristics in the mechanism of production and action. Many evidences indicated that NO and CO play important roles in physiological and pathophysiological processes in the prostate. This review highlights the current ideas on localization and function of them in the prostate. We also discussed the relationship between the gaseous messengers and the prostatic diseases.
9.Primary gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin lymphoma: a retrospective study of 51 cases
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(3):166-168,188
Objective To understand the clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes of primary gastrointestinal non-Hodgkin lymphomas (PGINHL) and analyze the differences between T-cell and B-cell lymphomas.Methods.The characteristics of 51 PGINHL patients were analyzed regarding to their clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatments and outcomes. Results 51 cases of PGINHL meeting the WHO(2008) criteria were identified. The median age of the patients at the time of diagnosis was 56 years old and the male ∶ female ratio was 1.44∶1,35 cases (68.7 %) had B-lineage and 16 cases (31.3 %) had T-cell lineage lymphomas.Compared to those with B-cell lymphoma, patients with T-cell lymphoma presented with a greater incidence of such symptoms as hematochezia, diarrhea and night sweating (P < 0.05).After eliminating MALT lymphoma, prognosis of T-cell lymphoma and B-cell lymphoma had no significant difference. Conclusion In PGINHL cases,B-cell lymphomas appeare to be more common and have better prognosis than T-cell lymphomas.
10.Study of event-related potential P3-like following forebrain ischemia/reperfusion in rats
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(05):-
AIM: To clarify the role and mechanism of hippocampus in the formation of P3-like. METHODS: (1) The hippocampal and parietal P3-like were simultaneously recorded by chronically implanted electrodes in rats. (2) In forebrain ischemia/reperfusion model, the effects of the selective damage of hippocampal CA1 subfield on the hippocampal and parietal P3-like were examined. (3) The changes of hippocampal and parietal P3-like after the inhibition of acetylcholine activity in the septo-hippocampal pathway by intraperitoneal injection of atropine (30 mg/kg) were also detected. (4) The changes of conditional active avoidance response was tested by shuttle-box following forebrain ischemia/reperfusion. RESULTS: (1) The peak latencies of hippocampal and parietal P3-like were prolonged after forebrain ischemia/reperfusion. (2) The polarity of hippocampal P3-like were reversed after the inhibition of acetylcholine activity in the septo-hippocampal pathway by atropine. (3) The prolongation of P3-like peak latency was closely related to the lowering of the score of conditional active avoidance response after forebrain ischemia/reperfusion. CONCLUSION: (1) The formation of P3-like depends on the integrity of hippocampus formation. (2) Hippocampus is not the only generator of P3-like, P3-like could be produced in multiple way. (3) The activity of acetylcholine in the septo-hippocampal pathway has notable effects on the formation of P3-like. (4) P3-like could be used as the sensitive marker of cognitive function.
