Objective To explore the existing problems in help-seeking ability among newly recruited nurses and provide training and to observe the effects of training. Methods A self-designed help-seeking abilitychecklist was used to conduct field observation for newly recruited nurses. Systematic training courses were developed according to the existing problems, and standardized training was implemented using diversified methods. Training effects before and after training in consciousness, timing, personnel, description of the problem and correct explanation for patients were compared. Results Significant differences were observed in all domains and the total score before and after training(P<0.001). Conclusion The overall help-seeking ability among newly recruited nurses is not satisfactory. Systematic and standardized training course can effectively improve help-seeking ability among newly recruited nurses.
2.Advances in application of fractional exhaled nitric oxide in children's respiratory diseases
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(5):437-440
NO is an important signal factor existing in expiratory air of normal person.Different kinds of airway inflammation can cause the increase of NO,especially eosinophilic inflammation.Fractional exhaled nitric oxide(FENO) can result in airway inflammation, which is noninvasive, repeatable and easily performed. It can be very helpful in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of airway symptoms such as recurrent wheezing and chronic cough. It can also help determine the state of the disease and prognosis. It is a very useful tool in the assessment and management of airway diseases, especially asthma.
3.Development and management of talents with high potentials
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2012;28(9):702-704
The paper described the nature of talents with high potentials as a source of leaders, highlighting their features of uncertainty, relativity and opportunity.Authors presented their insights and experiences in developing such talents into leaders of the hospital, and hold that nurturing of such talents calls for systematic emphasis, competence models to identify them, building an environment for them to stand out,and building of an appraisal and incentive mechanism that is scientific and efficient.

Objective To evaluate the efifcacy and inlfuencing factors of 3%hypertonic saline (HS) inhalation in treatment of bronchiolitis. Methods Clinical data together with the detection of 16 types of respiratory tract virus from hospitalized pediatric patients with primary diagnosis of bronchiolitis from June 2009 to December 2012 were retrospectively analyzed. The endpoint indicators for evaluation on the efifcacy of nebulized 3%HS inhalation were the percent decrease of clinical severity (CS) score after 2 days' treatment and the hospitalization time. Factors affecting efifcacy were further explored. Results The CS score in nebulized 3%HS treated group decreased in average of 42.86%(11.11%-66.67%), signiifcantly higher than that (26.79%, 0.00%-50.00%) in the untreated group (P=0.006). No difference of between the two groups (P=0.26). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that nebulized 3%HS inhalation has better efifcacy on the patients older than 3 months having breastfeeding, respiratory synthetic syncytial virus (RSV) infection and extensive wheezing sound auscultation of the lungs. The multiple linear regression analysis model was statistically signiifcant (R2=0.58, P<0.001). Conclusions After 2 days' treatment with 3%hypertonic saline inhalation, the CS score of bronchiolitis patients was decreased. The treatment can be recommended in hospitalized patient older than 3 months with breastfeeding, RSV infection, and extensive wheezing sound auscultation of the lungs.

7.Distribution of Vitamin D Receptor BsmⅠ and Tru9I Site Gene Polymorphism in Children in Guangxi Region
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the distribution of vitamin D receptor(VDR) gene BsmI and Tru9I site gene polymorphism in children in Guangxi region. Methods Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method and DNA sequencing technology were used to analyze the VDR genotype in 268 healthy children [including 143 boys and 125 girls which aged (4.15?0.63) years] in Guangxi region.Hardy-Weinberg balance analysis was used to check up the samples. Results There were 246 cases which were bb genotgpes in BsmI site and 21 cases which were Bb genotypes and 1 case which was BB genotypes in 268 cases. The frequency of bb,Bb and BB in BsmI site were 91.79%,7.84% and 0.37%,respectively.Frequencies of b and B allelic gene were 95.71% and 4.29%;There were 12 cases which were tt genotypes in Tru9I site and 85 cases which were Tt genotypes and 171 cases which were TT genotypes in all 268 cases.tt,Tt and TT in Tru9I site were 4.48%,31.72% and 63.80%,respectively.Frequencies of t and T allelic genes were 20.34% and 79.66%.The result of PCR-RFLP was according to the result of DNA sequencing. The samples had group representation through Hardy-Weinberg balance analysis. Conclusions The polymorphism frequency and distribution of VDR gene BsmI and Tru9I site gene polymorphism of children in Guangxi region of China exhibit its own characteristics.BB and tt genotypes minority.
8.Study Progress of B Lymphocyte Abnormal in Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1993;0(03):-
Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP) has been confirmed a clinical syndrome because platelets are much destroyed by immunologic mechanism,it is also called immunethrombocytopenic purpura. The pathogenesis of that is very multiplicity, and at present it isn′t understood. This review article is about study progress of B lymphocyte abnormal and the possible pathogenesis of ITP in children.
9.Quantitative analysis of interleukine-2 receptor ? mRNA expression in ankylosing sondylitis by fluorescence quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and clinical significance
Chinese Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2001;0(04):-
Objective To construct and evaluate the real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction for detecting IL-2R? mRNA in ankylosing spondylitis(AS) based on TaqMan technique. Methods A pair of primers and a TaqMan probe were designed by sequence in GenBank.Total RNA isolated from the fresh peripheral blood monocytes (PBMC) of homo sapiens was amplified by the real-time FQ-RT-PCR.The product was collected by agarose gel electrophoresis and sequencing analysis then ligated with pUCm-T.The recombined plasmid was transcribed to cRNA by T7 RNA polymerase in order to prepare serial standard materials.A new method was created to quantify IL-2R? mRNA in ideal condition.Sensitivity, reproducibility and efficiency were evaluated and used, combined with sIL-2R,for clinical application of AS.Results The linear range was (7~107) cells/ml.The intra-and-inter-assay coefficient variation was 8.4% and 9.6% respectively. Recombined plasmid contained the target fragment was specific and accurate by BLAST.Standard reference was constructed successfully. The RT-PCR product in AS with HLA-B27 positive groups was higher than that with HLA-B27 negative groups and health controls (P0.05).The sensitivity of IL-2R? mRNA was 96.7%.Conclusions Real Time FQ-RT-PCR of IL-2R? mRNA is constructed successfully. This is an easy, rapid, sensitive, accurate and reliable method for quantifing IL-2R? mRNA. There is highly statistical significance, compared with sIL-2R, on the expression of IL-2R? mRNA and inflammatory states between AS and control group and effective information for administration of patients.
10.Relationship between Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency and Viral Hepatitis in Guangxi Area
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(19):-
Objective To study the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase(G6PD)genotypes in the children of viral hepatitis with G6PD deficiency and investigate the relationship between G6PD deficiency and viral hepatitis.Method DNA samples of 18 children with viral hepatitis/ G6PD deficiency were studied for the 3 common mutations by using the natural primers or mismatched primers mediated PCR followed by restriction enzyme analysis and their clinical manifestation was analyzed. Results Among 18 cases,8 cases were G1388A,and 4 cases were G1376T,and 1 case was A95G.The 3 mutations of G1388A,G1376T and A95G added up to 72.22%.There were no significant difference between the patients with viral hepatitis/ G6PD deficiency and the children only with G6PD deficiency. The incidence rates of acute hemolysis and acute renal failure in the viral hepatitis/G6PD deficiency patients were higher than those in children with G6PD deficiency only. Conclusions It is supposed that the G6PD deficiency is primary in the patients of viral hepatitis with G6PD deficiency. The children of viral hepatitis with G6PD deficiency have more severe pathogenetic conditions and more complications than the children with G6PD deficiency only.
