1.Effects of the marrow oil from Anguilla japonica on blood lipids in rats
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effects of the marrow oil from Anguilla japoniva on blood lipids in rats. Methods Hyperlipidemia animal models were established by feeding high fat forage and a supplement of marrow oil from Anguilla japoniva at doses of 0.33,0.67 and 1.33 g?kg~(-1)was given ig daily. Results On the 28th day, the level of TC in serum was reduced and HDL-C was increased at the doses of 0.67 and 1.33 g?kg~(-1);The level of TG in serum was reduced at the dose of 0.67g?kg~(-1 ),too. Conclusion The marrow oil from Anguilla japonica has regulation effect on blood lipids.
2.The identification of responsible muscle group for writer's cramp and the therapeutic effectiveness of Botulinum toxin injection
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(08):-
Objective To identify the muscle group responsible for writer's cramp, and evaluate the therapeutic effectiveness of local injection of botulinum toxin. Methods The muscles responsible for hand dystonia was first recognized by selective movement of different muscle groups in the antebrachial region. Vecuronim bromide was then injected into the candidate muscle group to further ascertain its correlation with hand convulsion. Finally the selected muscle group was given injection of BTX A in multiple points to investigate the efficacy and potential side effects. Results Symptom of writer's cramp became worse after the selective exercises and was improved after the vecuronim bromide injection in the rotatory muscles. All five sick arms showed great improvement in hand writing without finger drop and hand weakness after the BTX A injection. Conclusion Botulinum toxin injections into forearm rotatory muscles caused definite improvement in hand writing, and had no significant side effects.

7.Evaluation of the effect of teaching rounds of the multidisciplinary joint radiotherapy department
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2016;15(4):429-432
Objective To explore the effect of the joint teaching rounds of the multidisciplinary radiotherapy. Methods 54 clinical college students of Grade 2013 was selected as the control group, adopting the traditional single teaching ward round model, while 58 clinical college students of Grade 2014 was selected as the research group, adopting the multidisciplinary joint radiation operation mode.By contrasting the satisfaction questionnaire, calculating and delineating the target volume error rate and the theory examination results, the effect of teaching ward round was evaluated. Results ①According to the survey, the research group's satisfaction in teaching methods, stimulating students' enthusiasm for learning, improving their clinical thinking ability and consolidating the knowledge (respectively 91.38%,86.21%,82.76%,93.10%),was higher than that of the control group (75.93%,68.52%,62.96%,77.78%),and the difference was statistically significant (chi square values were 4.95 5.05,6.25,5.36;P<0.05).②The research group's pass rate in delineation of Gross Target Volume (GTV) and the Clinical Target Volume (CTV) was (82.76%,86.21%),higher than that of the control group (53.70%,62.96%),and the difference was statistically significant (chi square values were 14.36,9.48;P<0.01).③Research group's score in clinical Three Basics and oncology theory achievement was(88.75 ± 5.23) and (82.72 ± 3.69),higher than the control group [(81.88 ± 613),(80.74 ± 3.25) points],and the difference was statistically significant (t=6.40 respectively,3.01;P< 0.05).Conclusion Radiotherapy department's multi-disciplinary joint ward round helps to improve the teaching quality.
8.Update of researches on acute lung injury in thoracic surgical procedures
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
With the development of the thoracic surgery, clinicians are paying more and more attention to acute lung injury (ALI) following thoracic surgical procedures. Many factors may cause ALI during the operation. This review updates recent researches on the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of the ALI in thoracic surgical procedures.
9.Application of Pentacam in the cataract surgery
International Eye Science 2015;(8):1358-1362
With the improvement of cataract operation, the cataract surgery has become increasingly perfect. The cataract patients show greater expectation for the result of cataract operation. As a result, refractive cataract surgery has become the main trend. Detailed investigations of corneal diseases, lens density, corneal topography, preferable intraocular lens ( IOL ) choice, and IOL power calculation can help us get a better knowledge of preoperative conditions on patients, which can be conducted with pentacam. So we can have a better forecast of post - operative outcome and improve the quality of vision for cataract patients after surgery.
10.Clinical observation of phacoemulsification and IOL implantation for cataract patients with glaucoma
International Eye Science 2014;(6):1071-1073
AIM: To observe the efficiency of phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation in the treatment of cataract and glaucoma.
METHODS:Totally 60 patients ( 70 eyes ) with cataract and glaucoma were included between March 2010 and March 2012 in our hospital. The phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation was performed. The observation of surgical efficiency, including the patient's IOP, anterior chamber depth, vision and complications, were compared before and after surgery.
RESULTS:Compared with preoperation, the patients'vision and anterior chamber depth were increased and the IOP was reduced significantly (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Phacoemulsification with IOL implantation is a safe and effective treatment for cataract and glaucoma.
