OBJECTIVE:To study the difference and implication of 6?-OHFC/FC ratio at different phases of chemother-apy for leukemia children.METHODS:Urine samples were used for determination of 6?-OHFC/FC by HPLC.RESULTS:6?-OHFC/FC ratio had marked differences at different phases of treatment for leukemia children.CONCLUSIONS:6?-OHFC/FC ratio is of certain value in providing reference for treatment of children with leukemia,prognostic evaluation and risk classification.

OBJECTIVE: To study protective and therapeutic effects of metformin on nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH) in rats. METHODS:40 SD rats were randomized into control,model,nicotinic acid,metformin group(n=10). The control group were only fed with a standard diet and the other groups were fed with a standard diet and fat emulsion. At the same time,the control and model groups were fed with sodium carboxymethylcellulose,the other groups were fed with relative drug.The serum TG,TC,ALT,AST,FFA,TNF-? and liver tissue TG,TC,FFA were detected and with histologically. Standardized patients are now serving as an important vehicle in the education of ethics and physician-patient communication skills for American resident doctors.This observational study introduces the background,design and implement of the education of ethics and physician-patient communication skills,and describes the author's personal experiences as an a trained standardized patient in the ethics and communication training workshop for American residents.Some experiences are concluded on related issues including expected roles of teachers,teaching philosophy,SPs design,supportive environment building,and some primary assumptions on applying SPs to Chinese medical education.

On the model of myocardial damage induced by subcutaneous injection of isoproterenol (40mg/kg, twice) into rats, it was found that the myocardial calcium content and the level of myocardial angiotensin Ⅱ (AGT Ⅱ,ir) were significantly elevated, and that severe myocardial ischemic lesion occurred. The treatment with taurine (200mg/kg, twice) or captopril(1mg/kg, twice)antigonized the above effects of isoprotercnol dramatically and ameliorated the myocardial damage. The results suggest that taurine has inhibitary action on synthesis of heart AGT Ⅱ, and that this is one of the important mechanisms by which taurine protects heart from isoproterenol-induced myocardial injury.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT MIP-MPR image in regional lymph node metastasis of colonic carcinoma.Methods CT findings of 33 cases with pathological confirmed colonic carcinoma were analyzed retrospectively . All patients were underwent three-phase 256-slice CT dynamic enhancement scanning.All data were processed in workstation,to obtain routine MPR and MIP-MPR image.The regional lymph nodes of colon cancer were counted,and divided into 3 groups accord-ing to the short diameter of lymph node:group I (3.0-5.0 mm),group Ⅱ(5.1-10 mm),and group Ⅲ(10.1 mm up).The diag-nostic sensitivity of CT MPR and MIP-MPR image in checking out lymph nodes of different groups was compared by paired test.Re-sults The average value(x ±s )of lymph node number of three groups with routine MPR and MIP-MPR image were:group I, 3.66±1.99,6.09±2.44 (t=1 1.6,P <0.05);group Ⅱ,3.72±1.79,4.03±1.89 (t=3.73,P <0.05);group Ⅲ,1.21±1.31, 1.27±1.46(t=1.44,P >0.05).There were statistical differences in group I and group Ⅱ.Sensitivity of MIP-MPR image in chec-king out regional small and middle lymph nodes of colonic carcinoma was higher than routine MPR image.Conclusion Multi-slice spiral CT MIP-MPR image is a good way to checking out regional small and middle lymph nodes of colonic carcinoma.

Objective To explore the effect of health education path on care and household rehabilitation in children with cerebral palsy (CP). Methods 100 CP children from June to December, 2012 were divided into experimental group (n=50) and control group (n=50). The control group was given conventional health education, while the experimental group along with the health education path. Mastery rates of disease knowledge and family rehabilitation methods, cooperation rate, and care satisfaction rate of parents was assessed before discharge.Results Mastery rates of disease knowledge, family rehabilitation methods, cooperation rate, and care satisfaction rate of parents were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Application of health education path can rule the health education of nurses, and improve the CP patient's satisfaction and compliance.

Da Vinci robotic assisted surgery has brought a completely new solution to the drawbacks of routine thoracoscopic surgery.At present,some large clinical centers have proved that robotic surgery gets more advantages than conventional thoracoscopic surgery in lymph node dissection,chest surgery with high difficulty and high risk,which reduces the difficulty of the operation,while allowing surgeons to feel more comfortable.Da Vinci robot technology used in almost all of the thoracic surgery (except lung transplantation),widely used in the esophageal surgery,lung surgery,mediastinum surgery,but as a new surgical technique,its safety and efficacy remains to be further verified,comparisons of the perioperative outcome and long-term prognosis are the research hotspot.
