China Medical Equipment 2014;(5):71-72,73
Through the analysis on principles of dental panoramic radiography, we analyzed the influence factors of the dental arch, and provided the main principles for optimizing design to improve the image quality. Through the analysis on the human dental arch’s form, we optimized the radiographic procedure. Many factors affect the quality panoramic image, but the focal trough’s design is one of the most important factors, especially for canine regions. Optimizing design of focal trough can lessen degrees of horizontal and vertical magnification, also can reduce geometric distortion and overlapped images of teeth.

Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2017;33(6):1011-1016
Asian-pacific area, especially China,is Hepatitis B high epidemic area.Since 2011,the first generation of oral direct anti-HCV agents (DAAs) came to clinical use,the treatment of chronic hepatitis C has switched from interferon-based regimen era to DAA era. There is an increased awareness of hepatitis B (HBV) reactivation in chronic hepatitis C (CHC) patients coinfected with HBV treated with pan-oral direct-acting antivirals(DAAs).Compared with interferon-based regimen,HBV reactivation occurred earlier and more severe among patients received DAA regimen, and even fetal cases or case end up with liver transplantation was reported. Thus, association of liver diseases called to alert the occurrence of HBV reactivation among CHC patients who received DAAs regimen. It is hence important to have HBV serology screened in all CHC patients before initiation of pan-oral DAAs therapy and the usefulness of preemptive administration of effective anti-HBV nucleos(t) ide analogues in coinfected patients need to be further studied.

AIM: To investigate the effects and quantitative relations of co-administering probenecid OF different dosages on pharmacokinetics of cefaclor in rabbits and approach the possible mechanisms involved as well. METHODS: Monitor plasma and urine cefaclor concentrations. 24 male rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups by Cefaclor 50 mg·kg-1,Cefaclor50 mg·kg-1+Probenecid 100 mg·kg-1,Cefaclor 50 mg·kg-1+Probenecid 250 mg·kg-1 and Cefaclor 50 mg·kg-1+Probenecid 625 mg·kg-1.Blood and urine samples were collected according to the regular time schedule after intragastric administration. The concentration of cefaclor in blood and urine were determined by HPLC. Pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated by DAS (Drug and Statistical) software. Measur plasma protein-binding rate of cefaclor. The experimental groups and drug dosage were same as described above. The blood sample was drawn at 1 hour after administration, and the protein-binding rate of cefaclor was determined by equilibrium dialysis. RESULTS: Within the dosages of probenecid ranged from 0-250 mg·kg-1,T1/2ka,Tmax,Cmax and AUC of cefaclor increased in accordance with increasing dosage of co-administering probenecid while CL/F and Vd/F were decreased(P<0.01); However, when the dosage of co-administering probenecid was 625 mg·kg-1,Cmax of cefaclor strikingly decreased(P<0.01),while AUC and CL/F maintained at the levels of those with probenecid250 mg·kg-1.In this experiment, urinary excretive peak time of cefaclor in its prototype pos tponed gradually, biological half life prolonged and urinary excretive accumulation percentage decreased obviously(P<0.01).To the dosages of probenecid ranging from 0-250 mg·kg-1,protein-binding rate of cefaclor decreased notably(P<0.01)going with increasing dosages of co-administration probenecid; While the dosage of co-administration probenecid reached 625 mg·kg-1,the protein-binding rate of cefaclor corresponded to that of cefaclor 50 mg·kg-1 without probenecid (P<0.01).CONCLUSION: Co-administering probenecid can strikingly change pharmacokinetics of cefaclor and the influential degree of pharmacokinetics parameters is dependent on dosages of probenecid used in the experiment. Biological half life prolongs and urinary excretive accumulation percentage of cefaclor decreases obviously.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint thread embedding on the peripheral serum leptin and insulin levels in simple obesity patients, and to further explore the mechanism of acupoint thread embedding in treating simple obesity.Method A total of 120 patients with simple obesity were randomized into a control group, an eletroacupuncture (EA) group and a thread embedding group, 40 cases in each group. The control group was intervened by diet plus exercise intervention, the EA group by EA treatment in addition to the intervention given to the control group and the thread embedding group by acupoint thread embedding treatment in addition to the intervention given to the control group. The levels of blood serum leptin and insulin in the three groups were observed before and after 2 treatment courses and the clinical efficacies were compared among the three groups.Result The total effective rate was 87.5% in the thread embedding group, 85.0% in the EA group, and 47.5% in the control group. The total effective rates in the thread embedding group and EA group were significantly different from the rate in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of the fasting serum leptin and insulin were significantly changed in the thread embedding group and EA group after the treatment (P<0.01). After the treatment, the levels of the fasting serum leptin and insulin in the thread embedding group and EA group were significantly different from those in the control group (P<0.01,P<0.05). The insulin level in the thread embedding group was better than that in the EA group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint thread embedding is an effective approach for simple obesity, and it can down-regulate the fasting peripheral serum leptin and insulin levels.

PurposeHeroin addiction is a chronic and recurrent functional brain disease, there are some functional changes in specific brain regions, but the network character remains unclear. The aim of this paper is to explore the network character of brain resting-state functional network in heroin addicts, to identify the potential neuromechanism of heroin addiction from the perspective of brain network.Materials and Methods Thirty heroin addicts (HA group) and twenty-nine healthy controls (control group) underwent resting-state functional MRI scanning using GE 3.0T MRI scanner. The brain functional networks were constructed based on graph theory, the small-world properties and node properties were calculated and compared between the two groups, the correlation between the total dosage of heroin and node degree was analyzed. Results Compared with control group, the small world characteristics of HA group was altered with statistically significant difference (P<0.05, corrected by false discovery rate); the node degrees in orbit frontal regions increased, while those in occipital brain regions decreased (P<0.05, corrected by false discovery rate). No correlation was found in HA group between node degree and the total dosage of heroin. Conclusion These results suggest that topology of functional brain networks were altered in heroin addicts which tends to random networks; increased motivational driving to the salience of drug and decreased visuospatial attention in heroin addicts may provide a strategy for identifying the neuromechanism of heroin addiction.
