1.Mediating role of regulatory emotional self-efficacy between childhood abuse and depression in college students

Objective:To examine the relationship between regulatory emotional self-efficacy and childhood abuse,and the mediating role of regulatory emotional self-efficacy between childhood abuse and depression in col-lege students.Methods:Totally 475 college students from 4 universities in Harbin were assessed with the Chinese version of the Regulatory Emotional Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (RES),Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-Short Form (CTQ),and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D).The survey of CTQ was manipula-ted retrospectively.Results:Physical neglect and physical abuse had significant direct negative effects on perceived self-efficacy in expressing positive affect (POS)(β=-0.38,-0.52).Emotional neglect and sexual abuse had significant direct negative effects on perceived self-efficacy in managing despondency/distress (DES)(β=-0.35,-0.31).Physical neglect had a significant direct negative effect on perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/irri-tation (ANG)(β=-0.23).Physical neglect and physical abuse had significant direct positive effects on depres-sion (β=0.78,3.20).The POS mediated relationships between emotional neglect and depression,physical neglectand depression,and sexual abuse and depression (with intermediary effects of 0.021 -0.029).The DES imposed mediating effects on relationships between emotional neglect and depression,physical neglect and depression,physi-cal abuse and depression,and sexual abuse and depression (with intermediary effect of 0.017 -0.040).The ANG was a mediator in the relationships between emotional neglect and depression,and physical neglect and depression (with intermediary effects of 0.016 -0.019).Conclusion:It suggests that childhood abuse may be an important factor related to low regulatory emotional self-efficacy.Regulatory emotional self-efficacy may play a mediating role between childhood abuse and depression.
2.Clinical study on application of non-invasive and dynamic cerebral edema monitor during perioperative period of cardiopulmonary bypass in infantile congenital heart disease

Objective To compare the influence of cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) on brain injury in the infants with compli‐cated congenital heart disease(CHD) and simple CHD by analyzing and monitoring the perioperative cerebral electric impedance co‐efficient ,serum S‐100βprotein and neuron specific enolase (NSE) .Methods Forty infants with CHD were randomly selected and divided into two groups:the complicated group(n=20 ,13 cases of tertralogy of fallot ,7 cases of transposition of great arteries) and the simple group(n=20 ,8 cases of atrial septal defect ,12 cases of ventricular septal defect) .Blood samples were taken and the cere‐bral electric impedance coefficients before operation(T1 ) ,at 10 min after CPB(T2 ) ,immediately after aortic clamping(T3 ) ,aortic o‐pening(T4 ) ,end of CPB(T5 ) ,at 5 h(T6 ) and 24 h (T7 ) after CPB were measured by the BORN‐BE noninvasive brain edema moni‐tor .Serum levels of S‐100βprotein and NSE were detected by ELISA .Results There was no statistically significant difference in the cerebral electric impedance coefficient ,S‐100βprotein and NSE before surgery(P>0 .05) .The cerebral electric impedance coef‐ficient ,S‐100βprotein and NSE were significantly increased from the beginning to the end of CPB(P< 0 .05) ,and gradually de‐creased after CPB(P<0 .05) .The cerebral electric impedance coefficient ,S‐100βprotein and NSE were obviously higher in the com‐plicated group than those in the simple group at the same time points(P<0 .05) .The cerebral electric impedance coefficient was re‐spectively correlated with S‐100βprotein and NSE .Conclusion The influence of CPB on brain injury in complicating CHD infants is more serious than that in simple CHD infants .The BORN‐BE noninvasive brain edema monitor can be used during CPB periopera‐tive period in complicating CHD infants for conducting the real time monitoring in order to reduce brain damage .
3.Survey on self-care behavior and self-among type 2 diabetes patients in community

Objective To investigate the level of self-care behaviors and self-efficacy among adult type 2 diabetes patients in community and discuss current problems.Methods A convenient sample of 85 patients with type 2 diabetes in Haiyuncang community was interviewed,using diabetes self-care scale and diabetes self-efficacy scale.Totally 85 questionnaires were got and underwent analysis.Results The index score of self-care behaviors and self-efficacy among adult type 2 diabetes patients in community were 66.98% and 69.02%.There were no significant difference in self-care behaviors of patients whether they attended diabetes lectures or not.Self-efficacy correlated significantly with self-care behaviors.Conclusions The self-care behaviors and self-efficacy of diabetes patients need to be improved,and diabetes education in community should be emphasized and carried out effectively.
4.Influence of the insulation blanket applied in general anesthesia on the incidence of postoperative delirium

Objective To observe the influence of the insulation blanket applied in general anesthesia on the incidence of postoperative delirium.Methods 60 patients with elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under generalanesthesia with ASA of grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ were selected.According to the random number table,the patients were divided into group A(without insulation blanket)and group B (with insulation blanket),each group in 30cases.The dosage and drug batch number of anesthetic drugs were same.Evaluated each patient using the confusion assessment method-chinese revised (CAM-CR).Recorded the number of cases of delirium for each group when 24 hours,48 hours, 72 hours after operation.Results The incidence of postoperative delirium in group A was 6.7%,which in group B was 0.0%.The incidence of postoperative delirium of group B was lower than group A (P <0.05 ).Conclusion Using insulation blanket to protect body temperature in perioperative operation can reduce the incidence of postopera-tive delirium in perioperative operation.
5.An experiment study of target muscle and moter endplate on peripheral nerve end-to-side neurorrhaphy

Objective To explore the protective effect of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) on diabetic myocardium and anoxic pre-conditioning (AP).Methods Eight-week-- old male Sprague-Dawley rats were given with a single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ) (60 mg/kg)to induce diabetes mellitus (DM).Donor rats were 8-week-old male Sprague - Dawley rats.Before transplantation,MSC were incubated in CM-DiI at a concentration of 2 μg/mL for 20 min.AP-MSC were exposed to 3 hours of anoxia.At 4 months after STZ injection,diabetic rats were randomly given with an intramyocardial injection of one of the followings:150 μL of Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium ( DMEM),5 ×106 MSC/150 μL,or 5 × 106 AP - MSC/150 μL (n =10 for each group).Three months after STZ injection and 2 weeks after transplantation,we evaluated the cardiac function by echocardiography,and also evaluated the cardiac conditions by alkaline phosphatase staining,western blot analysis for apoptosis related proteins and signal pathways.Results MSC,especially AP- MSC increased fractional shortening (FS) of diabetic heart (P <0.01 vs DMEM respectively).AP-MSC greatly increased the capillary density of diabetic myocardium (P <0.01 vs DMEM and MSC group respectively).AP-MSC are anti-apoptotic in the rat DCM model,possibly mediated through cardiac upregulation of Bcl-2/Bax ratio ( P < 0.05 ) and inhibiting the expression and activation of caspase - 3 ( P < 0.01 ).Conclusions Intramyocardial transplantation of APMSC has a protective effect on diabetic cardiomyopathy.
7.Effect of FK506 on functional recovery of peripheral nerve after end-to-side anastomosis

BACKGROUND: Injured nerve can regenerate through end-to-side anastomosis and obtain partial physiological function in animal experiment. As an immuno-suppressivedrug, FK506, which is characterized by promoting neural growth and functional recovery, is paid widely attention to.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of FK506 on functional recovery of peripheral nerve after end-to-side anastomosis.DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal study.SETTING: Department of Operation Surgery, Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.MATERIALS: The experiment was completed in the Department of Operation Surgery, Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in March 2005. Totally 26female Wistar rats were selected and divided into experimental group and control group with 13 in each group.METHODS: Peroneal nerve was transacted on the right side of all the animals, the proximal end of peronieal nerve was turned back and ligated, and the distal end was sutured to the side of tibial nerve with perineurial window. No operation was done on the left side. FK506 was injected in the right tibial muscle (2 mg/kg· d), once a day within two weeks in the experimental group, and saline was used in another group as contrast.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Three months afteroperation, the bilateral common peroneal nerve and the tibial muscle were taken for electrophysiological and histological examination, and the number of common peroneal nerve fiber, area of tibialis anterior muscle fiber of transverse section and muscle wet weight of tibialis anterior muscle were measured. The results were expressed with the ratio between right side and left side (i.e.recovery rate).RESULTS: Totally 26 rats entered the final analysis. ① Results of histological examination: Both ratio of number of nerve fiber and ratio of area of muscle fiber in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group (0.734±0.143, 0.412±0.119; 0.628±0.125, 0.432±0.135; P < 0.01,0.05). ② Results of electrophysiological examination: Recovery rate of action potential, recovery rate of single muscular contractility and recovery rate of tetanus contractility in the experimental group were higher that those in the control group (P < 0.05). ③ Ratio of wet weight in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (0.765±0.101,0.513±0.116, P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: FK506 injected into targeted muscle can promote growth and functional recovery of peripheral nerve in end-to-side anastomosis.
8.Effects of ginkgo biloba tablets plus combined with routine therapy on HPA axis in patients with steroid-dependent asthma

Objective:To investigate the effects of ginkgo biloba tablets plus relevant mechanism on HPA axis in patients with steroid-dependent asthma.Methods:80 patients with steroid-dependent asthma were divided into control group and experimental group at random,40 cases in every group.The control group were treated with pulmicort respules(1 mg/d) ,patients in the experiment group were given ginkgo biloba tablets in addition to routine treatment(120 mg/d).The therapeutic courses were both 12 weeks.The effective rate of reducing hormone,lung function,the plasma concentrations of ACTH and COR and the levels of PBMC GCR were deter mined before and after treatment.Results:The effective rate of reducing hormone was 89.47%in experimental group,which was 66.67%in control group.There were significant difference at the tows groups(P<0.01).There were no significant difference at lung function,the plasma concentrations of ACTH and COR and the levels of PBMC GCR at pre-treatment( P>0.05).After treatment,the lung function, the levels of plasma concentrations of COR and the levels of PBMC GCR were increased significantly than control group( P<0.01,P<0.05),the levels of plasma concentrations of ACTH was decreased significantly than control group(P<0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between the value of FEV1/FVC and the plasma concentrations of COR,the levels of PBMC GCR( r=0.724,0.632, P<0.01).There was a significant negaitive correlation between the value of FEV1/FVC and the plasma concentrations of ACTH( r=-0.668,P<0.01).Conclusion:Ginkgo biloba tablets combined with routine treatment therapy can increase the effective rate of reducing hormone in patients with steroid-dependent asthma,which can improve the lung function maybe by regulate the HPA axis and upgrade the levels of GCR.
9.Comparative study on influence of unilateral lumbar anesthesia and general anesthesia on stress responses in elderly hip replacement

Objective To explore the effect of the unilateral lumbar anesthesia by hypobaric bupivacaine and general anesthe‐sia in elderly hip replacement and their influence on the stress response .Methods Forty elderly patients undergoing hip replace‐ment in our hospital from December 2013 to November 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the unilateral lumbar anesthe‐sia group and general anesthesia group according to the random number table ,20 cases in each group .Venous blood was collected to determine the levels of blood sugar ,serum catecholamine(CA) and cortisol(CORT ) at 10 min before anesthesia(T0 ) ,end of surgery (T1 ) and at postoperative 24 h(T2 ) .MAP ,HR ,SpO2 ,intraoperative adverse reactions and postoperative related complications were recorded at each time point ,and the comparative analysis was performed .Results All patients successfully completed surgery and the anesthetic effect was satisfied .The occurrence rates of intraoperative hypotension ,hypertension and bradycardia in the unilateral lumbar anesthesia group were lower than those in the general anesthesia group ,the differences had statistical significances (P>0 .05) .HR and MAP at T1 in the two groups were reduced ,but the differences between the two groups were no statistical signifi‐cance(P>0 .05);the levels of GLU ,CORT and CA were increased ,moreover the differences between the two groups were statisti‐cally significant(P<0 .05) .SpO2 at T2 in the general anesthesia group was obviously lower than that in the unilateral lumbar anes‐thesia group ,while CORT was higher than that in the unilateral lumbar anesthesia group ,the differences were statistically signifi‐cant(P<0 .05) .The occurrence rates of postoperative nausea and vomiting ,sore throat ,dizziness ,drowsiness and pulmonary infec‐tion in the unilateral lumbar anesthesia group were lower than those in the general anesthesia group ,the differences were statistical‐ly significant(P<0 .05) .Conclusion The unilateral lumbar anesthesia by using hypobaric bupivacaine and general anesthesia all could offer better anesthetic effect .The unilateral lumbar anesthesia by using hypobaric bupivacaine can effectively regulate the stress response in elderly patients with hip replacement .
10.The complete genomic sequence analysis of human metapneumovirus hMPVgz01 strain in Guangzhou

Objective To study the genomic molecular organization and genogroup of human metapneumovirus(hMPV) infected infants in Guangzhou of China. Methods Primers were designed on the basis of the genomic sequence of hMPV 00-1 strain(AF371337) in the GenBank, and amplify hMPV genomeby RT-PCR. The PCR-products were cloned to T vector and sequenced, the genomic nucleotide sequences were analyzed with the programs Clustal W/X, DNASTAR and MEGA4. 1. Results The cloned strainhMPVgz01 genome is 13 327 bp in length, the genome contains eight open reading frames in the order 3-N-P-M-F-M2-SH-G-L-5. The genomic sequences of hMPVgz01 strain are compared with those of hMPV in GenBank, revealed that the homology with hMPV group A ranges between 92%-97%, homology with group B is 81%, and with avian metapneumovirus group C is 71%, the highest homology is with BJ1887 strain of genogroup A2b. The N, F, G genes of hMPVgz01 strain are compared with those corresponding genes of hMPV subgroups A1, A2, B1, B2, revealed that the highest homology is also with genogroup A2b. Conclusion The complete nucleotide sequence of hMPVgz01 strain isolated from Guangzhou in China is 13 327 bp in length, GenBank accession No. is GQ153651. Comparison of the genomic sequence and three genes of hMPVgz01 strain with those corresponding sequences of hMPV show the highest homology is with genogroup A2b. Sequence and phylogenetic analysis of the hMPVgz01 strain revegled that this isolate belongs to genogroupA2b.
