OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of innovative artificial ligament material on reconstruction of cruciate ligament. METHODS: A total of 18 studies about clinical reconstruction of cruciate ligament by using artificial ligament material were retrieved with the keywords of artificial ligament, scaffold material, cruciate ligament, and reconstruction in CNKI from 1990 to 2008. Subjects were generally analyzed in clinic, while clinical application of artificial ligament material was summarized based on follow up and functional evaluation. RESULTS: A total of 18 studies about clinical application of artificial ligament material for reconstruction of cruciate ligament indicated that there were no significant differences in age, sex, and injured types. Lysholm and IKDC scoring standard indicated that LARS artificial ligament was satisfactory for reconstruction of cruciate ligament. CONCLUSION: Arthroscope indicates that LARS artificial ligament is characterized by stably recovering function of knee joint, less trauma, less complication, and well short-term therapeutic effect; however, the long-term effect of LARS on reconstruction of cruciate ligament still needs to be further studied.

Objective To investigate the survival rate and status of cerebral performance category in patients who received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) (abbreviated by ROSC-CPR) after discharge,and to analyze the risk factors which influencing the prognosis of these patients.Methods A retrospective analysis of the clinic data coming from the patients who received cardiopulmonary resuscitation with return of spontaneous circulation and admitted to the Department of Intensive Care Unit from January 2009 to December 2016 was carried out to find corresponding risk factors influencing the prognosis.Results A total of 185 patients who received ROSC-CPR with 59.5％ male,the average age of (67.15 ± 17.64) years old and the average Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ) score (28.80 ± 7.16) were divided into two groups,the survival group (n =56) and the death group (n =129).The total survival rate was 56/185 (30.3％).Compared to the death group,the usage rate of ventilation,blood purification and target temperature management in survival group was no significant (P ＞ 0.05).The most common aetiology of the survival patients was cardiogenic disease,but the number of those patients with the good cerebral performance category (CPC 1/2) discharged from hospital were 16 cases (8.6％).According to logistic analysis,high value of APACHE Ⅱ score,the duration from CPR to ROSC over 10 minutes,admission took place out-of-hospital were unfavorable predictors for the prognosis (P ＜ 0.05),while admission took place in the second four years and cases with cardiogenic aetiology were favorable predictors for the prognosis of these patients who suffered from ROSC-CPR.Conclusions The survival rate of the patients who received CPR with ROSC after discharge was still low,especially the rate of good status of CPC was very low.To shorten the duration from CPR to ROSC as possible as we can,and to strengthen target temperature management would improve the prognosis of the patients who received CPR with ROSC in our hospital in future days.

Objective:To investigate the infection status of Yersinia in the main host animals of plague in Xiahe and Luqu counties, the Himalayan marmot plague foci of Gansu Province, and to provide a basis for exploring the epidemic status of plague in these foci. Methods:Samples of the ileocecal region and contents, pharyngeal swabs (or tongue roots), and blood of the main host animals of plague in Xiahe County and Luqu County where the plague were active in the 1950s and 1960s were collected from 2014 to 2018. The Yersinia isolation, virulence determination and F1 antibody detection were performed, respectively. Results:Totally 24 strains of Yersinia were detected in 958 samples of ileocecal region and contents with a bacterial detection rate of 2.51%, which were 13 strains of Yersinia enterocolitia (Y.e), 1 strain of Yersinia kristensenii (Y.k), 2 strains of Yersinia frederiksenii/ intermedia (Y.f/i), 6 strains of Yersinia intermedia (Y.i), 1 strain of Yersinia aldouae (Y.a) and 1 strain of Yersinia massiliensis (Y.m). Totally 19 strains of Yersinia were detected in 958 samples of pharyngeal swabs (or tongue roots), and the detection rate was 1.98%, which were 8 strains of Y.e, 1 strain of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (Y.p), 4 strains of Y.k, 1 strain of Y.f/i, 4 strains of Y.i, and 1 strain of Yersinia ruckeri (Y.r). The virulence types of 21 strains of Y.e were ail -ystA -ystB +yadA -virF -rfbc -, ail -ystA -ystB -yadA -virF -rfbc -, respectively, accounting for 9.52% (2/21) and 90.48% (19/21), none were pathogenic. The results of F1 antibody in 1 079 serum samples were all negative. Conclusions:Yersinia are widely found in the pharynx and intestines of the main host animals of plague in Xiahe and Luqu counties, and the Y.e detected are all non-pathogenic strains. The results of this investigation can provide clues for further study on the preservation of Yersinia pestis in host animals and their living environment.

The expression of multidrug resistant proteins in bladder cancer and clinical implication was studied. Expression of multidrug-associated protein (MRP), P-glycoprotein (P-gp), P53 and Bcl-2 proteins were detected by using immunohistochemical method in 40 specimens of bladder transitional cell carcinoma. The results showed that the positive rate of MRP, P-gp, P53 and Bcl-2 was 52.5 %, 57.5 %, 47.5 % and 62.5 % respectively. The positive rate of MRP, P-gp, P53 and Bcl-2 in the grade Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ of tumors was 46.3 %, 38.5 %, 38.5 %, 23.1 %； 52.9 %, 39.8 %, 47.1 %, 76.4 %； 60.0 %, 80.0 %, 60.0 %, 90.0 % respectively. The positive rate of MRP, P-gp, P53 and Bcl-2 in 24 primary tumor specimens was 37.5 %, 41.7 %, 33.3 %, 45.8 % and that in 16 cases in recurrent specimens receiving chemotherapy 75.0 %, 81.3 %, 68.8 %, 87.5 % respectively. It was suggested the positive rate of MRP, P-gp, P53 and Bcl-2 was increased with the advance of tumor grade. The positive rate of four proteins in all recurrent cases was significantly increased (P<0.05). The expression of MRP, P-gp, P53 and Bcl-2 proteins might be the important factors for chemotherapy failure.

To reduce recurrence in the patients with bladder cancer after tumor removal through open surgery or transurethral resection, a form of gelatin-adriamycin sustained drug release system was developed and its release kinetics both in vitro and in vivo, its efficacy in inhibiting BIU-87 bladder tumor cell growth in vitro and its safety in vivo were studied. The results showed that this system controlled adriamycin release over a period of 21 days in vitro and significantly inhibited BIU-87 cell growth. When this system was injected into rabbit bladder, it sustained adriamycin release for 12 days and the released drug could diffuse 1 cm around the injection point. No major complications were observed except minor acute nonspecific cystitis that could be tolerated well by the animals. This study suggests the possibility of applying this system locally in treating bladder cancer.

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of mumps in Guangxi from 2011 to 2019, and to provide a scientific basis for formulating effective prevention and control strategies. Methods Descriptive epidemiological method was used to analyze the incidence data of mumps in Guangxi from 2011 to 2019. Results From 2011 to 2019, a total of 146,132 cases of mumps were reported in Guangxi, with an average annual incidence rate of 34.23 /100 000. There were 88,919 male cases (60.85%) and 57,213 female cases (39.15%). The incidence rate decreased from 62.26/100 000 in 2011 to 16.46/100 000 in 2015, and increased from 18.60/100 000 in 2016 to 46.90/100 000 in 2019. There were seasonal variations in the incidence, with the incidence peaks occurring from April to July and from October to the following January. 85.39% of cases were under 15 years of age, and 76.82% of cases were among kindergarteners or school children. A total of 228 mumps outbreaks were reported during 2011-2019，including 5,347 cases, accounting for 3.66% of the total cases. The incidence rates of mumps in Nanning (56.09/100 000), Hechi (48.26/100 000), Liuzhou (46.77/100 000), Baise (46.34/100 000) and Fangchenggang (40.68/100,000) were relatively higher than other places. Conclusion The mumps incidence is on an upward trend in Guangxi since 2015-2019, occurring mainly in older children or students. It is suggested to adhere to the second dose of mumps containing vaccine for kindergarten and school children and strengthen the surveillance and outbreak control of mumps in schools.
