Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology 2015;(2):174-177
Purpose To analyze retrospectively the clinicopahological characteristics and immuophenotype in 120 cases of pulmonary selerosing hemangioma ( PSH) . Methods Data of 120 cases of PSH were collected and reviewed, including gross features and frozen diagnosis, histopathological features, morphology in HE and immunohistochemical characteristics of tumor cells. Results PSH pres-ents a well-circumscribed mass with a sense of expansion after cutting, which showed a solid, grey to tan-yellow surface with foci of haemorrhage. Two kinds of tumor cells and four typical patterns with mixed forms, are often shown under light microscope (92/120, 76. 67%). Focal accumulation of histocytes and scattered mast cells were noted in some cases (83/120, 69. 17%). Both surface cells and round cells were TTF-1 and EMA positive. Surface cells expressed SP-A, CK and NapsinA. Round cells expressed vimentin. Conclusion Gross features and typical“two cell types, four patterns” contribute to PSH diagnosis. Meanwhile, foal accumulation of foam histocytes and scattered mast cells show a clue to PSH diagnosis and differential diagnosis.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the fluorouracil pathway gene and effect of chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer after surgery. Methods 52 postoperative patients with advanced gastric cancer using FOLFOX4 6-cycles combined chemotherapy were collected to set up the database. The expression of thymidine synthase (TS), dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) and orotate phosphoribosyltransferase(OPRT) in tumor tissue and adjacent non-tumor tissue of 52 patients with advanced gastric cancer were measured by semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The influence of fluorouracil pathway gene on chemotherapy was investigated. Results The TS-mRNA level in tumor tissue was significantly higher than non-tumor tissue (0.92±0.28 vs 0.71±0.30) (t = 3.730, P =0.001).OPRT-mRNA level in tumor tissue was positively correlated with the non-tumor tissue (r =0.45, P =0.001). No correlations were observed among other gene expressions. Patients whose high OPRT-mRNA gene expression in their tumors and non-tumor tissue showed an obviously better survival (t = 3.036, P =0.003;t = 2.713, P =0.009). Patients with low DPD-mRNA gene expression survived longer than those with high DPD-mRNA gene expression in tumor tissue with statistical significance(t = 2.708, P =0.009), whereas prolonged survival was observed in patients with high DPD-mRNA gene expression in non-tumor tissue (t = 2.616, P =0.012).Conclusion There is close relationships between chemotherapy in advanced gastric cancer and the expression of DPD-mRNA, OPRT-mRNA;while the expression of TS-mRNA have no relation with the survival time.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2019;18(3):229-234
The postoperative complications in patients with gastric or colorectal cancer has been common but seriously affecting patients' recovery and even their life safety.According to the database of China Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery Union, abdominal infectious complications are the main causes of secondary surgery and postoperative death, which deserve clinical attention. However, the incidence rate of postoperative abdominal infection varies widely from center to center.Due to the lack of nationwide data,it is unable to determine the incidence of abdominal infectious complications reasonably and formulate the corresponding strategies of evidence-based diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, this multi-center prospective cohort study,i.e.prediction of abdominal complication after gastroenterological surgery (PACAGE),aims to investigate the incidence, classification and outcomes of postoperative abdominal infection in patients with gastric or colorectal cancer,to implement the standardization of the complication registration, and to provide necessary data for improving surgical safety, preventing abdominal infection and decreasing the rate of postoperative complications in the future.

OBJECTIVE To establish quantitative analysis of multi -components by single marker (QAMS) method to simultaneously detect the contents of cinnamic acid ,cinnamaldehyde, plantamajoside, verbascoside, isoacteoside, calceolarioside B , psoralen, isopsoralen, neobavaisoflavone and bavachin in Gushen dingchuan pill ,and to perform quality evaluation of Gushen dingchuan pill by combining with chemical pattern recognition . METHODS High-performance liquid chromatography was adopted . Using psoralen as internal standard ,the relative correction factors of the other 9 components were established ,and the contents of each component were calculated and compared with those determined by external standard method . Cluster analysis ,principal component analysis and partial least squares discrimination analysis were performed by the results of QAMS method ,and the qualities of 15 batches of Gushen dingchuan pills were evaluated . RESULTS The above 10 components showed a good linear relationship in their respective ranges (r>0.999 0). RSDs of precision ,repeatability, stability and recovery tests were all lower than 2.00%. There was no significant difference between QAMS method and external standard method (P>0.05). The results of cluster analysis and principal component analysi showed that 15 batches of Gushen dingchuan pills could be clustered into 3 categories. The results of partial least squares discrimination analysis showed that psoralen ,verbascoside, cinnamaldehyde and isopsoralen were the main potential markers affecting the quality of Gushen dingchuan pills . CONCLUSIONS Established QAMS method for quantitative control of multi index components and chemical pattern recognition can be used for the quality evaluation of Gushen dingchuan pills .
