Objectives To systematically evaluate the effect of music given to pregnant rats on the development of brain functions in the offspring rats and to provide scientific evidence for the application of antenatal musical training and the promotion of welfare for laboratory animals.Methods We comprehensively retrieved and collected the research literatures related to the effect of music on brain function development in offsprings of the pregnant rats from Pubmed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Wanfang,Weipu,CNKI and CBMdisc.The retrieval time was set from the foundation date of databases to 2 April,2016.We selected literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,evaluated their utilities,then extracted and qualitatively described the data.Results Seven experimental studies were selected in this study including 4 published in Chinese and 3 in English.The object laboratory animals of those studies were Wistar or SD rats.Music materials involved comfort music,classic music,violin concerto(Liangzhu/The butterfly lovers).Intervention were given to the pregnant rats roundly from the gestation until parturition.These results showed that,to some extent,music stimulations during gestation may promote the development of brain function and improve spatial memory of the offspring rats.However,expressions of some functional receptors were not significantly altered.Conclusions Appropriate music provided to the pregnant rats promote the development of brain functions in their offspring.

AIM: To investigate the effect of cyclin B1 antisense oligodeoxynucleotide (ASON) with liposomal transfection on proliferation of HL60 cells. METHODS: After cyclin B1 ASON with liposomal transfection was used in vitro co-culture with HL60 cells,the protein and mRNA expression levels of cyclin B1 were measured by flow cytometry and RT-PCR. The cell apoptosis was detected by electron microscopy, in situ cell apoptosis detection kit (POD),DNA agarose gel electrophoresis and flow cytometry. RESULTS: In cyclin B1 ASON group the protein and mRNA expression levels of cyclin B1 were significantly inhibited than those in sense oligodeoxynucleotide (SON) group and blank group. Morever,when the ASON concentration increased,the proliferation ratio of HL60 cells and CFU-HL60 clony unit were also significantly inhibited. The apoptosis of HL60 cells was also observed. CONCLUSION: Cyclin B1 ASON specifically inhibited its protein and mRNA expression levels as well as the HL60 cell proliferations and induced leukemia cell apoptosis. It's effect depended upon the concentration of ASON.

Abstract: Schistosomiasis, an important zoonotic parasitic disease, is one of the six major tropical diseases identified by WHO, and also one of the most important parasitic diseases for prevention and control in China. After more than 70 years of efforts, the prevention and control of schistosomiasis in China has made great achievements, and the current epidemic of schistosomiasis in China has entered an extremely low epidemic state, but the distribution base of the only intermediate host of schistosomiasis, Oncomelania hupensis, is still large. For now, the techniques used to monitor schistosomiasis have shortcomings such as time-consuming, laborious and low sensitivity, which cannot meet the current needs of China. Environmental DNA (eDNA) refers to DNA that can be extracted from environmental samples (such as soil, water or air) without isolating any target organisms, which is a complex mixture of genomic DNA and its degradation products from different organisms in the same environment. eDNA technology can reflect the community or species composition information in the ecosystem through DNA extraction and detection of environmental samples. Compared with traditional biological monitoring methods, eDNA technology has the advantages of high efficiency, high sensitivity and environmental friendliness. eDNA has been successfully used for the specific detection of Schistosoma mansoni, Schistosoma haematobium and Schistosoma japonicum. This paper reviews the current detection methods of eDNA, the application and technical limitations of eDNA technology in schistosomiasis monitoring, aiming to provide scientific reference for research in the field of schistosomiasis surveillance.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of long non-coding RNA-HOTAIR in prostate cancer cells and its effects on the growth and metastasis of the cells.

METHODSUsing quantitative reverse-transcription PCR (qRT-PCR), we determined the relative expression of HOTAIR in the normal human prostate epithelial cell line RWPE-I and prostate cancer cell lines PC-3 and DU145. We detected the effects of HOTAIR on the cell cycle and invasiveness of prostate cancer cells by RNA interference, flow cytometry, and Transwell mitration assay.

RESULTSThe expressions of HOTAIR in the PC3 and DU145 cells were increased 3.2 and 5.7 times, respectively, as compared with that in the normal RWPE-1 cells. After si-HOTAIR interference, the prostate cancer cells were arrested in the G2 phase and downregulated in the G1 phase. The invasive ability of the prostate cancer cells was evidently inhibited, with the inhibition rates of 32% and 44% of the PC3 cells and 43% and 34% of the DU145 cells for si-HOTAIR1 and si-HOTAIR2, respectively.

CONCLUSIONIncRNA HOTAIR is highly expressed in prostate cancer, which is associated with the growth and invasiveness of prostate cancer cells. HOTAIR is potentially a novel marker for the diagnosis and prognosis of prostate cancer.

AIM: To explore the relationship of central retinal vein occlusion ( CRVO) and atherosclerosis ( AS) .
METHODS:Fifty cases of CRVO patients were chosen as the observation group in our hospital from October 2012 to October 2014, other 50 patients with AS ( non-CRVO) as control group. In the control group, 22 cases of AS mild stenosis, moderate stenosis in 24 cases, 4 cases of severe stenosis ( 3 cases implanted stent ) . According to the severity, two grade prevention primary prevention therapy, and cerebral vascular disease treating stroke, corresponding drug treatment was undergone. Two groups of patients were performed cervical carotid artery color Doppler ultrasound examination, including assessing plaque, carotid artery intima-media thickness ( IMT) , the degree of stenosis of internal carotid artery blood flow velocity and the systolic peak ( PSV ) , end diastolic blood flow velocity ( EDV) , resistance index ( RI) values for kinetic parameters etc. All the indexes of the two groups were compared with color Doppler ultrasound examination results, to evaluate the correlation between CRVO and AS.
RESULTS: In the observation group, 15 cases were detected of carotid artery with mild stenosis, 28 cases of arterial diameter reduced <50%, carotid artery moderate stenosis, arterial diameter was reduced from 50% ~69%, 6 cases of carotid artery stenosis, arterial diameter was reduced from 70% ~99%, 1 patient with ipsilateral carotid artery near occlusion. In the control group, 22 cases were of AS mild stenosis, moderate stenosis in 24 cases, 4 cases of severe stenosis ( 3 cases implanted stent ) . The eyes with CRVO increased IMT, PSV and EDV decreased, RI value increased (P<0. 05). Compared with the control group, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes mellitus in observation group were statistically significant difference (P<0. 05). The control group of 2a of follow-up showed no recurrence during CRVO.
CONCLUSION: CRVO and AS are highly correlated, the neck of Doppler ultrasound examination can clearly reflect the central retinal vein blood supply, the standard treatment for AS disease, can reduce the risk of CRVO, with certain clinical significance.

Objective To understand the correlation of gene detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae and clinical refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.Methods (1) For children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in our hospital with serum Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody positive,we collected the pharyngeal swab specimens over the same period,applied nested PCR to amplify 23SrRNA gene and undergoing electrophoresis and find out 97 cases of both positive,conducted DNA sequencing analysis of macrolide resistant gene to isolate the mutants,compared clinical manifestations of drug-resistance gene group with no drug-resistance gene mutation group.(2) Ninety-seven cases of mycoplasma pneumonia (MPP) patients were devided into the general MPP group (68 cases) and refractory MPP group (29 cases),retrospectively analyzed clinical manifestation,laboratory examination and differences of imaging performance.Multivariate logistic regression analysis for the performance of refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia was carried out to examine whether there is relevance between the mutant of drug-resisting gene and refractory Mycoplasma pneumonia.Results (1) Seventeen of 97 cases (17.5％) were found out without mutations,the other 80 cases (82.5％) exist drug-resistance gene mutations.(2) Mutation of drug-resistance gene group showed high CRP values,heating time,hospitalization time,macrolide drug application time,application of macrolides fever time and longer cough,by statistical analysis with statistical significance,higher incidence of lobar pneumonia.(3) Compared to general MPP group,refractory MPP group showed high peripheral blood neutrophil percentage percentage,CRP,calcitonin) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) values,heating time,hospitalization time,macrolide drug application time,application of macrolides fever time and longer cough.There was significant difference (P ＜ 0.05);macrocyclic lactones drug application time and resistance gene mutation and refractory Mycoplasma pneumonia were correlated.Conclusion MPP drug-resistant genes are widespread.Drug resistance gene mutations group shows long clinical symptoms duration,slow recovery rate,higher CRP value,higher rates of lobar pneumonia.Compared with ordinary MPP group,there are higher drug resistance mutation rate,inflammatory indexes and lactate dehydrogenase value,large ring lactone class drugs after a longer time of cough and fever in RMPP group.Drug application time and resistant gene mutations are associated with RMPP.

To identify the active constituents in vitro and blood-absorbed ingredients in vivo from Yin Chen Hao decoction provides scientific evidence for probing its prevention and treatment mechanism on acute liver injury. An ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography quadrupole-time of flight-mass spectrometry (UPLC-QTOF/MS) method was applied for analysis of Yin Chen Hao decoction and the serum samples of mice with con-A induced acute liver injury after preventive oral administration for 14 days (the use of all laboratory animals in this study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Naval Medical University, 19YF1459400). A total of 90 chemical constituents were identified from Yin Chen Hao decoction, mainly were flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins, quinones. 5 prototype compounds were identified in the serum, including chrysophanol, deoxyrhapontin-8-O-gallate, mussaenosidic acid, herniarin, emodin. The established UPLC-QTOF/MS method could efficiently and sensitively identify the constituents in vitro and blood-absorbed ingredients of Yin Chen Hao decoction, primarily clarify the material basis of its hepatoprotective effect, and provided a scientific basis for the quality marker selection and the pharmacodynamic material basis research on the decoction.

Abstract: Objective （ ） To compare the measured results of arsenic in urine by atomic fluorescence spectrometry AFS and - （ - ）， Methods inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy ICP MS and analyze the reasons of the difference. The samples WS/T 474-2015 Determination of Arsenic in Urine by Hydride Generation Atomic Fluorescence were pretreated according to Spectrometry， （ ∶ ∶ ∶∶ ，V/V/V） and digested with mixed acid nitric acid sulfuric acid perchloric acid=3 1 1 and then determined by - - AFS and ICP MS. The samples were diluted with 0.50% nitric acid and determined by ICP MS. The samples included urine ， ， （ arsenic quality control samples inorganic arsenic supplemented samples and organic arsenic arsenic choline and arsenic ） - betaine supplemented samples. Standard curve method was used to compare the results of AFS method and ICP MS method. Results （ ） （ ） The results of quality control samples by AFS method digestion and ICP-MS method without digestion were ， - within the range of reference values but the values obtained by AFS method were lower than those obtained by ICP MS method. - - - ， The recovery of AFS and ICP MS was 97.79% 100.82% and 99.55% 99.98% respectively. In the middle and high ， - （ P ） concentration groups the measured values of inorganic arsenic by AFS were lower than that by ICP MS all <0.01 . The （ ） - recovery of arsenic betaine and arsenic choline by AFS method digestion was only 2.17% 2.63%. The values of arsenic betaine （ ） - （ and arsenic choline measured by AFS method digestion were lower than those measured by ICP MS method without ） - （ ）（ P ）Conclusion digestion and ICP MS method digestion all <0.01 . OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical efficacy of Tongfu Mixture (TM) for post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP).

METHODSTotally 54 PEP patients were randomly assigned to the control group (treated by routine therapy, 26 cases) and the TM treatment group (treated by TM, 28 cases). Clinical indices including the alleviation time of abdominal pain/distention, gastrointestinal function recovery time, and the post-surgical length of stay were observed. Blood amylase (AMY), C-reactive protein (CRP), plasma endotoxin (PLS), TNF-alpha, and IL-6 were detected before surgery, 12 h, 48 h, and 96 h after surgery.

RESULTSThe alleviation time of abdominal pain/distention, the gastrointestinal function recovery time, and the post-surgical length of stay were obviously shorter in the TM treatment group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The recovery of AMY and CRP were better in the TM treatment group than in the control group at post-operative 48 h and 96 h (P < 0.05). The levels of LPS, TNF-alpha, and IL-6 were lower in the TM group than in the control group at post-operative 96 h (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONTM showed better clinical efficacy and could significantly decrease the post-surgical length of stay. post-ERCP pancreatitis; integrative medicine; Tongfu Mixture

Objective To provide an objective basis for differential diagnosis of pancreatic diseases through quantitative analysis of the different features of contrast-enhanced endoscopic ultrasonography (CE-EUS). Methods A total of 32 patients with suspected or confirmed pancreatic neoplasms or chronic pancreatitis and 19 patients who underwent EUS due to other digestive problems other than pancreatic disease were enrolled. Features of blood perfusion of the regions of interest during CE-EUS were analyzed quantitatively. The findings were compared with cytological and/or histopathological results of EUS-FNA and/or surgery.Results Quantitative analysis of CE-EUS showed peak intensity (PI) value of 19 normal pancreas was 0.648 ±0. 174, which was statistically different from that of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic cystic lesions. Based on ROC, the cutoff of differential diagnosis was 0. 505, and the sensitivity and specificity were 100. 0% and 84. 2%, respectively. PI value of 6 chronic pancreatitis was the highest (0. 772 ±0. 106). In pancreatic neoplams, PI values of pancreatic carcinoma, pancreatic cyst and pancreatic endocrine tumors were significantly different. Based on a cutoff of 0. 195, the sensitivity and specificity of differentiation of pancreatic carcinoma and pancreatic cyst were 85.7% and 87.5%, respectively. PI value of 14 pancreatic carcinoma and that of 4 pancreatic endocrine tumors were 0. 321 ± 0. 119 and 0. 763 ± 0. 115, respectively. Through the comparison between the AT and TTP of the focal lesions and surrounding pancreatic parenchyma, 78.6% pancreatic carcinoma showed slow falling-in and rapid wash-out and all the endocrine tumors showed rapid falling-in and rapid wash-out. The PI value of 8 patients with pancreatic cyst was 0. 181 ±0. 036, with no enhanced blood flow in the cyst. The TIC was a straight line. Conclusion CE-EUS with quantitative analysis is a promising method that can be a more objective basis in the differential diagnosis of pancreatic diseases.
