OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of indometacin on apootosis and proliferation of cervical cancer Hela cell. METH-ODS:Hela cell was cultured in vitro as study object, and cultured with 0(blank control),200,400,600,800 and 1 000 μmol/L indometacin for 24,48 and 72 h. The inhibitory rate of indometacin to the proliferation of Hela cells was detected by MTT assay. After treated with 0(blank control),400,600 and 800 μmol/L indometacin for 24 h,the change of cellular morphology was ob-served by invert microscope;cell cycle phase and apoptosis were analyzed by flow cytometry. RESUITS:Indometacin of 600, 800,1 000μmol/L could inhibit the proliferation of Hela cell, which was positively correlated to drug concentration and time. Com-pared with blank control, indometacin could induce that Hela cell transformed from polygonous to round in appearance, and result-ed in cell apoptosis and necrosis;the proportion of cells at G0/G1 phase increased, while the proportion of cells at S phase reduced;the apoptotic rate of cells raised. CONCLUSIONS:Indometacin could inhibit the proliferation of Hela cell, block cell cycle at G0/G1 phase and induce apoptosis.

OBJECTIVETo determine the recognition of healthy medical students on deqi after acupuncture, reveal the qualitative and quantitative rules of deqi and understand whether these rules are the factors of the clinical application of acupuncture therapy.
METHODSThe class questionnaires were used for the investigation study on the understanding of deqi after acupuncture at Hegu (LI 4) or Zusanli (ST 36) in 86 healthy students in the clinical medicine class.
RESULTS(1) Deqi was a kind of complicated compound feelings, with many sensation qualities such as distending pain, distension and pain. (2) Deqi was a kind of mild and moderate sensations. In 10-score credit sys tem of Massachusetts General Hospital acupuncture sensation scale (MASS), the scores of distending pain (4.69 +/- 2.83), distension (4.39 +/- 2.91) and soreness and distension (3.93 +/- 2.93) were around 5 (moderate degree), the scores of stabbing pain (1.89 +/- 2.02) were around 2 (mild degree). (3) The differences in the quantitative scores were significant for stabbing pain, distending pain, distention, soreness and distention and the others before and after treatment (all P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONDeqi of acupuncture is the mild and moderate complicated sensations manifested as distension, soreness, pain and numbness. As the invasive therapy, the filiform needle puncture will bring a certain psychological impacts on the receptors. The subjective sensation is possibly the factor for the patients' selection of acupuncture treatment.

Data is the basis and soul of clinical trials. To obtain accurate data, strict and standard data management is essential, which can be effectively supported by quality control in statistical analysis. In this paper, we briefly introduce the concept of the quality control in clinical trials, and describe its contents and methods. We hope that this work will be helpful to the application of statistical quality control in data management of clinical trials.

Objective To determine the iodine content of common foods in different geographical areas (coastal city, coastal rural area, mountainous city and rural area) in Fujian Province and provide basic data for evaluation of dietary iodine intake. Methods In 2010,based on the types of food of the total diet study, one food sample(consumption rate is greater than 1%) was collected in coastal city(Taijiang),coastal rural area(Xiang'an),mountainous city (Sanyuan) and rural area(Mingxi). These foods including cereal, beans, potato, meat, eggs, milk, aquatic products, vegetables, fruits, sugar, beverages, liquor and seasoning, and so on 184 kinds of common foods. The iodine content of these food was tested by As (Ⅲ)-Ce4+ catalytic spectrophotometry. Results Among the 184 kinds of food tested,164 were not indicated food iodine content in the Chinese Food Composition Tables (2004).The iodine content of common food in Fujian Province in descending order were salt (30 000 μg/kg),aquatic products(341.4 μg/kg),eggs(255.9 μg/kg),dairy(106.7 μg/kg),meat(103.2 μg/kg),cereals (40.7 μg/kg),vegetables(30.7 μg/kg),beans(12.9 μg/kg),sugar(8.5 μg/kg),fruits(6.7 μg/kg),potatoes(2.4 μg/kg) and alcohol(2.1 μg/kg).The iodine content of kelp and laver was the highest in all the food, which was 314 780.1,176 956.5 μg/kg,respectively.The iodine content of food from animal(241.4 μg/kg) was much higher than that of the food from plant(25.4 μg/kg).The iodine content of common cereals, potatoes, beans, sea algae, meat, eggs and aquatic products was compared in the four areas, and the difference was not statistically significant (M =135.5,20.0,42.0,16.0,54.0,4.0,x2 =1.4,all P > 0.05).The iodine content of vegetables and fruits was compared, and the difference was statistically significant (x2 =8.5,M =204.5,all P < 0.05).Conclusion The iodine content of different foods is different.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1985;0(06):-
Cartilage antuumor component (CATC) was isolated from a 1 mol/L guanidine hydrochloride extract of bovine cartilage by acetone fractioned precipitation and superfiltration. Using human skin fibroblasts as a normal control, it was demonstrated that CATC inhibited the DNA synthesis of Hela, QGY7703 tumor cell lines and bovine artery endothelial cells, but accelerated the normal cells, when the concentration was below 1250 ?g/ml. At the concentration of 5 000 ?g/ml, CATC inhibited the two cell lines. With human tumor stem cell assay, CATC inhibited the stem cell growth of Hela and QGY7703 cell lines. These suggest that CATC has the effects of inhibiting angiogenesis and tumor cells.

A series of experiments were conducted to study the mutation of Kloechera apiculata by many kinds of treatments such as UV and UV+LiCl.The optimal dosage disposal was determined:15 W 30 cm under Ultraviolet irradiation for 20 s,UV+LiCl under Ultraviolet irradiation for 20 s and added LiCl 0.3% (w/v).One strain(UV20-13)which had obvious physiological characteristic was obtained.the incidence of blue and green mold of citrus was reduced by 25.56%and 10.00%in vivo experiment after 7 days respectively. The strain UV20-13 was tested by the experiments of subculture and dynamic growth, and the results showed that the strain UV20-13 was better than K.apiculata in the growth characteristics, and it did not appear retrogression, reversion mutation ect after subculturing 10 generations. Therefore the strain UV20-13 had genetic stability.
