Objective To analyze the value of carbon nanoparticles in the cleaning of thyroid cancer lymph node.Methods 80 patients with thyroid cancer from March 2012 to March 2013 were included in this study.Based on the sequence of enrollment,they were randomly divided into two groups:the therapy group (n=40)were received Nano carbon lymphatic tracer before basic operative treatment and the control group (n=40)were directly received the same basic operative treatment.The liver function parameters in two groups were observed and compared statistically. Results The operating time,operative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume had no statistically significant difference between two groups.The incidence of postoperative hypocalcemia in experimental group was lower than that in blank control group(P<0.05 ).The parathyroid hormone level in experimental group on the first postoperative day was higher than that in blank control group(P<0.05 ).The number of resected lymph nodes in experimental group was more than that in blank control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Nano carbon lymphatic tracer technique can increase the cleaning number of lymph node of thyroid cancer patients in central region,and realize the accurating tumor stage.

Objective Through analysis the amount and the types for the bacterial in the conjunctival sac between the warm meibomian gland massage and routine preoperative preparation for the inner eye operations,to compare the bacterial state before and after the nursing intervention,as to analysis of preoperative administration of the routine preoperative preparation on the effectiveness of prevention of postoperative intraocular inflammation,and so on peri operation period nursing intervention is effective in reducing or preventing endophthalmitis.Methods 40 patients(40 eyes) undergoing eye operation during March to December of 2013 in our hospital,they were divided into the experimental group and the control group,with preoperative warm meibomian gland massage the experimental group based in the implementation of internal eye operation on routine preparation.Based on all the patients in group (V1),on the morning of surgery (V2) before operation,after disinfection(V3),before the end of operation(V4),after the next morning(V5) and after 1 weeks of operation (V6) of the 5 conjunctival sac sampling cultured conjunctival sac fungi and bacteria population analysis.Results Two groups of cultured conjunctival sac and there were significant differences between the V1 and V6 for both groups in the amount and the tapes of the bacterial.Conclusions The inner eye operation patients with warm meibomian gland massage can effectively reduce or inhibit the bacterial amount after operation in the conjunctival sac,effectively reduce the occurrence of postoperative endophthalmitis of hidden dangers,this procedure should be schduled in the standerand SOP for the peri--operative preparation for the inner eye operations.

Background Glaucoma is a kind of psychosomatic disorder.Investigating the psychological and behavioral characteristics of glaucoma patients has important implication for the prevention and treatment of the disease.Objective Present study aimed to characterize the personality profile of initial diagnosed glaucomatous patients.Methods Eighty-seven patients with primary open angle glaucoma (POAG),ninety-two patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) and eighty-nine normal controls (normal control group) were enrolled in this study from January 2008 to May 2014 in Peking University People 's Hospital.Clinical and demographic information which could relate to personality type was collected by filling in Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90),Life Event Scale (LES),Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) voluntarily under the informed consent.The psychological,personality and behavior characteristics of the individuals were analyzed and compared among the different populations.Results In SCL-90,the scores of compulsivity,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,phobic anxiety,paranoid ideation and psychoticism inpatients with primary glaucoma were significant different among the three groups (all at P＜0.01),and the scores were significantly higher in the patients of the POAG group and PACG group than those in the normal control group,and the scores were increased in the PACG group compared with the POAG group (all at P＜0.05).In LES,the scores of family events,social intercourse and other events,life events,stress response were significantly different among the three groups (P =0.032,0.002,0.001,0.000),and these scores were significant higher in the POAG group and PACG group compared with the normal control group,and the PACG group also had a significantly greater frequency of clinically abnormal score than the POAG group (all at P＜0.05).EPQ data showed that the scores of psychology and nervousness in the POAG group and the PACG group were higher than those in the normal control group (all at P＜0.05),but no significant difference were found in extroversion and stability of the personality among the three groups (P=0.321,0.315).The total scores of SAS and SDS were considerably higher in the POAG group and the PACG group compared with the normal control group or the PACG group compared with the POAG group (all at P＜0.05).The incidences of anxiety and depression were elevated in the POAG group and the PACG group in comparison with the normal control group (x2 =15.520,P =0.000 ; x2 =14.870,P =0.000).Conclusions The personality and behavioral factors are associated with the pathogenesis,development and therapy of primary glaucoma.The anxiety,depression and stronger stress response are found in glaucoma patients,especially PACG patients.

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between the polymorphisms of the promoter of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase 10(ADAM10) gene and sporadic Alzheimer's disease (SAD).Methods The promoter of ADAM10 gene in 10 controls and 10 SAD patients was sequenced.Three variations were found,then these variations in 298 SAD patients (SAD group) and 315 healthy controls (control group)were genotyped by using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP).ResultsThree polymorphisms were found in the promoter of ADAM10 gene: -279G/A (rs653765),- 630G/T( rs514049 ) and - 921GAGA/- ( rs33926666 ).For - 921GAGA/-,there were significant differences in genotype ( GAGA/GAGA:138 (46.3％ ),GAGA/-:155(52.0％),-/-:5(1.7％))and allele frequencies (GAGA:431 (73.6％),-:165 (27.7％) ) between SAD and control (genotype:x2 =34.130,P =0.000; allele:x2 =25.972,P =0.000). For - 279G/A,there were significant differences in genotype and allele frequencies between SAD and control in the subjects without ApoEε4 allele (genotype:x2 =8.734,P=0.013; allele:x2 =5.129,P=0.024). -279G and -921GAGA were relatively protective allele types for SAD,and they were not in linkage disequilibrium.ConclusionThe polymorphisms - 279G/A and - 921GAGA/- of ADAM10 are associated with SAD.Allele G or genotype G/G of -279G/A and the GAGA/GAGA genotype or the GAGA allele of -921GAGA/- might have a protective effect on SAD.

Objective To compare the transfection efficiency of galactosylated chitosan nanoparticle vehicle with chitosan nanoparticles vehicle,and observe the therapeutic effect of pGL3-hTERTp-TK on HCC cell line HepG2. Methods Preparing the chitosan and galaetosylated chitosan. Constructing the pGL3-hTERTp-TK plasmid and the Ch/DNA and GC/DNA complexes.Transfecting the HepG2 and the normal hepatic cell L-02 with chitosan/DNA and galactosylated chitosan/DNA complexs.Detecting the fluorescence and the expression of luciferase gene using the fluorescent microscope and the scintillation counter.Detecting the cell growth and apoptosis through the Caspase-3 and the flow cytometry. Results Two clear straps appeared in the agarose gel.The locations were 300 bp and 1100 bp.The relative lueiferase activity of pGL3-hTERTp-Luc+mediated by galactosylated chitosan was powerful than which of pGL3-hTERTp-Luc+mediated by chitosan in HepG2 by the scintillation counter.However,the relative luciferase activity was very weak in L-02.The same results were observed by fluorescent microscope.When the concertration of the GCV was 10 μg/ml(t=51.40,P=0.000),the HepG2 cell inhibition which was transfected by GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was obviously different from the L-02 cell inhibition which was transfected by GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK in the statistics.The significant apoptotic rate was 65.28%in HepG2 which was transfected with GC/DNA,whereas it was only 10.80% in L-02. The significant apoptotic rate in HepG2 which was transfected with GC/DNA was very higher than the other groups (LSD, P ＜0.05). The significant apoptotic rate (10.80%) in L-02 which was transfected with GC/DNA was very higher than the group which was Ch-pGL3-control (LSD, P =0.000). The average fluorescence intensity of the HepG2 which is transfected by the Ch-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was 168.02± 3.68. The average fluorescence intensity of the HepG2 which is transfected by the GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK was 204.45 ±3.45. The two groups had a significant difference in the statistics (t=-12.504, P＜0.05). Conclusion Galactosylated chitosan has higher transfection efficiency than chitosan. GC-pGL3-hTERTp-TK could specially attack HCC cell line and almost has no influence on normal hepatic cells.

Objective The animal model of rheumatoid arthritis was established in Lewis rats by a single intradermal injection of pristane. Methods The degree of pathogenicity and the pathological characteristics were assayed by histiopathological techniques and joint roentgenography. Results The incidence of arthritis in rats immunized by pristane was 62.5%. Peripheral joints were mainly involved. A chronic relapsing and progressive arthritis was developed.As showed by histopathology and roentgenography, typical arthritis pathology such as synovial proliferation, articular cartilage and bone erosien were found. Conclusion Pristane induced arthritis mirrors human rheumatoid arthritis and is a very good animal model for rheumatoid arthritis.

Purpose:To explore the relationship between the expression of nm23mRNA,p16 and the oncogenesis,development and metastasis of lung cancer.Methods:Expressional level of nm23mRNA,p16 was detected in 72 human lung cancer samples and 23 normal tissues adjacent to cancer respectively,and their correlation with lymph node metastasis and the degree of cell differentiation was studied by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) methods on tissue microarray.Results:The positive expression for nm23mRNA in cancer samples,in human tissues adjacent to cancer and in primary cancer with lymph node metastasis was 55.6%(40/72),82.6%(19/23),25.0%(6/24) respectively.The positive expression for p16 was 45.8%(33/72),73.9%(17/23),25.0%(6/24) respectively.The expression level of nm23mRNA and p16 were closely related to the degree of cell differentiation( P 0.05).Conclusions:These results suggest that nm23 gene and p16 gene are closely related to the degree of cell differentiation and lymph node metastasis of lung cancer.The lower expression level of nm23mRNA and p16 predicts the metastasis of lung cancer, and the two genes may be an index in monitoring the status and evaluating the prognosis of the lung cancer.

Objective To analyze the MRI features of fibrocystic breast disease (FBD). Methods 39 patients with pathologically proven FBD were retrospectively reviewed. The imaging protocol consisted of pro-contrast imagings and bilateral breast volume im-aging for breast assessme NT(VIBRANT). MRI features were interpreted based on the morphologic and enhancement kinetic de-scriptors defined on ACR DIRADS-MRI lexicon. Results There were 3 types on ACR BI-RADS-MRI lexicon in FBD,including 13 focal mass-type showing malignant enhancement kinetic pattern mostly;15 cyst-type with non-enhancement or mild enhance-ment,of them,1 case with periductal mastiffs showing strong enhancement and rapid up-slope and wash-out mimicking a breast cancer. 6 non-mass type usually showing benign enhancement kinetic pattern. In 5 patients,MRI did not show definite abnormal evi-dence. Conclusion MRI is of significant value in diagnosing FBD.

Objective To investigate the current situation of puncture-related pain in patients with the arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis and its correlated factors. Methods A total of 180 hemodialysis patients with the arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis were investigated with demographic data questionnaire, visual analogue scale and pain self-efficacy questionnaire. Results The effective questionnaires rate was 93.89%(169/180). The median score of puncture-related pain was 5 scores, the score of pain self-efficacy was (31.42±14.59) scores;multivariate analysis demonstrated that the puncture-related pain was positively correlated with the patient gender, using time of arteriovenous fistula and pain self-efficacy ( β=0.152,-0.017,-0.409, P<0.05), OR (95%CI)were 2.069 (1.206-3.148), 0.803(0.710-0.984), 1.004(0.886-1.431). There was negative correlation between the puncture-related pain score and pain self-efficacy in these patients, r=-0.647, P<0.01. Conclusions Puncture-related pain is common sense in patients with the arteriovenous fistula undergoing maintenance hemodialysis, some factors including the patient gender, using time of arteriovenous fistula and pain self-efficacy influence this feeling.
