AlM:To discuss the application of prism alternate cover test ( PACT) and perimeter strabismometry in strabismic operation.METHODS: A total of 145 patients with concomitant esotropia or exotropia, aging 2 ~ 50 years old, were included. They were examined by PACT and perimeter strabismometry before operation. The strabismic operations were performed, the orthotropia rate of postoperation was assessed.RESULTS:Using PACT and perimeter strabismometry, there was a significantly difference of deviating angle ( P<0. 05) in mild and severe strabismic group. But there was no significantly difference of deviating angle (P>0. 05) in moderate strabismic group. The functional cure rate of postoperation was respectively 70. 83%, 67. 01%; the clinical cure rate was 20. 84%, 24. 74%; invalid rate was 8. 33%, 8. 25% .CONCLUSlON: The application of PACT and perimeter strabismometry in strabismic operation design, referring to the eye axial length, this can be helpful of improving the cure rate postoperation and decreasing the danger of reopreation.

OBJECTIVE:To develop a capillary electrophoresis method for determing the enantiomer of ceftriaxone Na.METHODS:A chiral resolving agent,?-cyclodextrin,was employed as chiral additive for ceftriaxone Na enantiomeric separation by capillary electrophoresis.In different electrophoresis polarity mode,the effect of pH of background electrolyte and the concentration of ?-cyclodextrin were investigated.RESULTS:The optimal conditions for enantiomeric separation were as follows:separation voltage:28kV,buffer solution:NaH2 PO4 50mmol/L,?-CD 0.04mmol/L,Tirs 3.0mmol/L,pH7.15.CONC_LUSION:The method is simple,sensitive,rapid and accurate,and can be used for the quality control of ceftriaxone Na enantiomers.There was significant difference in contents of enantiomers of ceftriaxone Na between products of two factories.We suggest that a quality control method for ceftriaxone Na enantiomer should be established,which will provide scientific basis for quality control of drug and clinical choice of effective antibioties.

Objective To explore the association between the polymorphism rs671 site of the acetaldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) gene and H-type hypertension in the elderly in Han nationality in Qingdao.Methods Totally 406 patients aged 60-90 years with primary hypertension were randomly selected in the study.Serum levels of homocysteine(Hcy),folate and vitamin B12 were determined and all patients were divided into H-type hypertension group and non H-type hypertension group.Gene chip technology was used to analyze the ALDH2 (rs671) polymorphism,and the association between ALDH2 gene and H type hypertension was evaluated.Results Of all hypertensive participants,82.0％ (333/406) were in H-type hypertension,87.4％ (221/253) in male and 73.2％ (112/153) in female.The GA/AA genotype and A allele frequency were higher in H-type hypertension group than in non H-type hypertension group [37.2 ％ (124/333) vs.16.4 ％ (12/73) and 21.3％(71/333) vs.9.6％(7/73),P=0.001and 0.021].Serum Hcyleveland the prevalence of H type hypertension were higher in GA/AA genotype group than in GG genotype group(both P＜ 0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that GA/AA genotype,gender (male),drinking,folate deficiency and increased systolic pressure were the risk factors for H-type hypertension (OR=3.17,2.14,2.37,0.75,1.03,respectively,all P＜ 0.05).Conclusions The genetic variation of ALDH2(rs671) may increase Hcy level by decreasing the levels of folate and vitamin B12.GA/AA genotype is a risk factor for H-type hypertension,and it contributes to H-type hypertension together with gender,drinking history,folate levels and systolic pressure.

Objective To evaluate the long-term effects and safety of an intense pulsed light (IPL) in the treatment of epilation.Methods 159 patients received treatment with a non-coherent IPL because of unwanted facial and body hair.116 cases were followed up by means of phone call or letters.The average follow-up time was 38 months.Results Overall,36 (31.0％) patients were very satisfied,53 (45.7％) were satisfied and 27 (23.3％) remained unsatisfied with the outcome of lightassisted hair removal.The non-coherent intense pulsed light satisfactorily removed unwanted dark hair.Hair-free periods from weeks to years could be observed.Besides,the satisfaction was not related with the colour of the skin.Conclusions Hair removal by a non-coherent intense pulsed light is an effective and safe method for long-term epilation of unwanted hair.

This article brought forward the adverse vocational education model-organizing lower level of undergraduates to participate in the work of public health specialty. This model enhanced their understanding of this work and urged more students to devote themselves in this area. Besides, questionnaires were used to know how alumni performed and what was needed for a future professional of public health.

Abstract: Objective - - To establish a pre column derivatization high performance liquid chromatography method for detecting Methods dimethyl sulfate (DMS) in workplace air. DMS in workplace air was collected with mercaptopyridine impregnated （ silicone tube. The derivative of DMS and mercaptopyridine was eluted by mobile phase phase A: water, phase B: acetonitrile, ∶ the volume ratio was 40 60) , and separated with a C18 column, then detected with diode array detector and quantitated by a Results - standard curve. The linear range of DMS was 0.17 40.00 mg/L, with the correlation coefficient of 0.999 95. The detection limit and the lower limit of quantitation were 0.05 and 0.17 mg/L respectively. The minimum detection concentration and minimum quantitation concentration were 0.02 and 0.04 mg/m³, respectively (air sample volume of 4.5 L, 1.0 mL sample - - - solution). The average desorption efficiency was 98.40% 102.00%. The within run and between run relative standard deviations - - were 0.61% 3.92% and 1.71% 6.00%, respectively. The samples could be stored at room temperature for at least 14 days. Conclusion This method can be used to detect DMS in workplace air.

Abstract: Nitrobenzene compounds (NBCs) are widely used in the world. It has 40 isomers such as nitrobenzene, dinitrobenzene and nitrotoluene, that are highly toxic and difficult to degrade and can cause harm to human health in different degrees. At pres⁃ ent, there is no unified standard method and occupational exposure limit for the detection of NBCs in the air. In terms of sampling medium, solid adsorption tube is mostly used for trapping vapor state NBCs, and filter membrane and solid adsorption tube are mostly used in series for sampling coexist NBCs in vapor state and aerosol state. In the detection methods, gas chromatography and liquid chromatography are common, and ultraviolet spectrophotometry, Raman spectroscopy, ion migration spectrometry and some other rapid response methods and technologies are also used in the detection of NBCs. In the detection of NBCs by gas chro⁃ matography, capillary column separation is commonly used, and the main detectors are flame ionization detector, electron capture detector and mass spectrometry detector. It is of practical significance to establish a method with high sensitivity, strong practica⁃ bility, convenient operation, and can simultaneously collect and detect a variety of NBCs in different states.

An antibiotic-producing bacterium, which was numbered as 20 #-5, was separated from the soil in Chongqing. It was identified as the member of pseudomonas. Gram positive bacteria are badly suppressed by it. The antibiotic secreted by 20 #-5 can endure 100℃ for half an hour, and it can also go through the ultrafiltration membrane with pores of 0.22?m.
