Objective To observe vasculogenic mimicry formation difference in human hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines MHCC97-H/L with different metastatic potentials under three-dimensional culture condition, and to study extracellular matrix and adhesion molecules-related mechanism of vasculogenic mimicry. Methods Three-dimensional cell culture system of MHCC97-H/L was established to observe tubelike structures by inverted microscope.Human umbilical vein endothelial cell(HUVEC),human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line Hep3B with non-metastatic potentials and normal human hepatic cell line HL-7702 were taken as control.Gene expression profiles of MHCC97-H and MHCC97-L were detected by Oligo extracellular matrix and adhesion molecules microarray analysis. Two differentially expressed genes were verified with semi-quantitative reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)and Western blot. All data were analyzed using two sample t test. Results After a 24-hour three-dimensional culture, the length of tubelike structures was(474 ± 16)mm/cm2 in MHCC97-H,which were significantly longer than(320 ±41)mm/cm2 in MHCC97-L(t =6.119,P <0.05).Hep3B and HL-7702 could not form tubelike structures.Compared with MHCC97-L,the expression of 7 genes were up-regulated and the expression of 3 genes were down-regulated among a total of 113 angiogenesis genes in MHCC97-H.Two of the genes with differential expressions including tenascin C and extracellular matrix protein 1 were further validated by RT-PCR and Western blot. Conclusion MHCC97-H has stronger ability to form vasculogenic mimicry than MHCC97-L,and this perhaps correlates with the differential expression of certain extracellular matrix and adhesion molecules-related genes in MHCC97-H.

OBJECTIVETo perform a meta-analysis of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) as a diagnostic tool for small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with cirrhosis.
METHODSA computer-based retrieval system was first used to identify reports on the diagnostic efficacy of CEUS for small HCC in patients with cirrhosis that were published between 1995 and April 2012 in the following literature databases: Medline, PubMed, Foreign Medical Journal Service (FMJS), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP Journal Integration Platform (VJIP), Wanfang Chinese Periodical Database, and Chinese Biomedicine Database (CBM). Two investigators, working independently, then selected cases from the relevant based upon specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The extracted data was subjected to quality assessment of diagnostic accuracy studies (QUADAS). The MetaDisc version 1.4 software was used to conduct meta-analyses.
RESULTSSix studies, involving 380 lesions detected by various contrast mediums, were selected for analysis. Diagnosis of small HCC in patients with cirrhosis by CEUS based on Sonovue and Levovist had pooled sensitivities of 0.73 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.67-0.79) and 0.76 (95% CI: 0.60-0.89), pooled specificities of 0.89 (95% CI: 0.81-0.94) and 0.79 (95% CI: 0.61-0.91), pooled positive likelihood ratios of 6.53 (95% CI: 2.74-15.52) and 3.60 (95% CI: 1.89-6.85), pooled negative likelihood ratios of 0.26 (95% CI: 0.13-0.54) and 0.21 (95% CI: 0.02-2.63), and pooled diagnostic odds ratios of 27.50 (95% CI: 7.99-94.72) and 25.74 (95% CI: 5.30-125.04), respectively. The area under the curve of the summary receiving operating characteristic (SROC) of CEUS based on Sonovue was 0.9252 and the Q* index was 0.8595.
CONCLUSIONCEUS is a valuable diagnostic tool for small HCC in cirrhotic patients.

Objective To examine the association between internet addiction and suicidal behaviors in adolescences and to explore whether the association could be partly or fully accounted by depression or/and behaviors related to the impulsity. Methods A total of 3507 urban adolescent students in Hefei were administered to complete the questionnaire concerning interact addiction disorder(IAD), suicidal behaviors during the 12 months preceding the survey, behaviors related to the impulsity, Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale and early childhood adversities, respectively. Hierarchical logistic regressions were used to evaluate the associations and possible roles of depression and behaviors related to the impulsity between internet addition and suicidal behaviors after adjustment for confounding factors. Results Of the 3507 participants, 5.2% were diagnosed as IAD, 27.4% reported suicidal ideation during the 12 months preceding the survey, with another 9.5% had a plan and 2.6% had an attempt. Internet addition was associated with suicidal ideation(OR=1.79, 95%CI: 1.32-2.44), plan(OR=2.32, 95%CI: 1.57-3.42), and attempt(OR=2.08, 95%CI:1.03-4.22). After adjustment for potential confounding factors, the association between internet addition and attempt was insignificant. When depression and behaviors related to the impulsity were entered into Hierarchical regression respectively, the associations between internet addition, suicidal ideation and plan were substantially reduced. While internet addition was enter into Hierarchical regression, the associations between depression, behaviors related to the impulsity, suicidal ideation and plan were not reduced. Conclusion Adolescent intemet addition seems to be associated with suicidal ideation and plan, and the association is possibly mediated by depression and behaviors related to the impulsity.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the applicability of integration between three-dimensional (3D) facial and dental data to evaluate the nasolabial morphology variation before and after the cross-arch fixed restoration of the maxillary implant-supported prostheses.
METHODS:
Twelve patients (4 women and 8 men), mean age (54.82±5.50) years (from 45 to 62 years) referred to the Department of Oral Implan-tology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology, were selected and diagnosed with edentulous maxilla. For all the patients, 4 to 6 implants were inserted into the maxilla. Six months later, the final cross-arch fixed prostheses were delivered. The 3D facial images were collected before and after the final restoration. The 3D data of prostheses were also captured. All the 3D data were registered and measured in the same coordinate system. Then the displacement of all the landmarks [cheilion left (CHL), cheilion right (CHR), crista philtri left (CPHL), crista philtri right (CPHR), labrale supe-rius (LS), subnasale (SN), stomion (STO), upper incisor (UI), upper flange border of the prostheses (F-point, F)], and the variation of the distances between these landmarks (SN-LS, CPHR-CPHL, CHR-CHL, LS-STO) were analyzed and compared.
RESULTS:
The consistency test among three measurements of the length of F-SN indicated that the integration method of the dental prostheses and soft tissue had the good repetitiveness, ICC=0.983 (95%CI: 0.957-0.995). After wearing the final cross-arch maxillary implant-supported prostheses, all the landmarks on the soft tissue moved forward. The nasal base area changed minimally, and the shift of SN in the sagittal direction was only (0.61±0.44) mm. But the sagittal shift of LS was (3.12±1.38) mm. In the vertical direction, SN, LS, CPHL, and CPHR moved upward. But STO, CHL, and CHR moved downward a little. Except for the slight decrease of the length of philtrum (SN-LS), the length of CHL-CHR, CPHL-CPHR, and the height of upper lip were increased together (P < 0.01). In the direction of Z axis, the strong correlations were found not only between the movements of SN and F (r=0.904 3) but also between the movements of LS and UI (r=0.958 4).
CONCLUSION
The integration method of 3D facial and dental data showed good repetitiveness. And the strong correlations between the landmarks of prostheses and nasolabial soft tissue in the sagittal direction were found by this new method.

The excipient processing is an essential part of traditional Chinese medicine processing, and understanding its scientific connotations is a critical scientific issue that urgently needs resolution. Building upon a foundation where the composition of traditional Chinese medicine substances is fundamentally clear, this paper applies the techniques and methods of chemoinformatics to the study of the excipient processing mechanism. Relevant information on traditional Chinese medicines processed with four kinds of excipients (wine, vinegar, salt and honey) was collected, including properties, taste, meridian tropism, chemical components, etc. Molecular descritors and skeletons corresponding to each chemical component were calculated using chemoinformatics to characterize the properties and structural features of the components. Characteristic components associated with the four excipients (wine, vinegar, salt and honey) were explored through multivariate statistical analysis and Murcko skeleton analysis. Further analysis, taking honey-processed

OBJECTIVETo investigate the association between the exons 2 to 4 of the MICA gene and ankylosing spondylitis (AS).
METHODSBy PCR-SSOP, DNA samples from 56 AS patients and 112 random healthy individuals, as normal control were genotyped to analyse the polymorphism in exons 2, 3, 4 of the MICA alleles.
RESULTSMICA*008 was dominant in MICA allele, accounted for 32.14% and 30.36% in AS patients and normal controls respectively. The frequency of MICA*007 was significantly increased in AS patients, when compared with normal controls (chi-square=10.18, P<0.05, RR=2.50). No difference was found in the other MICA alleles. The haplotype analysis revealed that there were the strong linkage disequilibrium between MICA and HLA-B of AS patients, and normal controls. There was a difference in MICA*007-B27 between two groups (chi-square=18.46, P<0.05, RR=7.47). Both HLA-B27 and MICA*007 were strongly associated with AS. Stratified analysis showed that HLA-B27 was significantly relative to AS,while it was not found between MICA*007 and AS.
CONCLUSIONThe increased frequency of MICA alleles may be due to its strong linkage disequilibrium with HLA-B27.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the status and influencing factors on knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) about AIDS among the migrant workers in railway construction sites and to provide evidence for strategy development and measures on AIDS related health education and behavioral intervention.
METHODS943 migrant workers in railway construction sites were surveyed. Univariate analysis, multivariate Logistic regression and correlation analysis were used to explore their influencing factors.
RESULTSThe migrant workers in railway construction sites had poor AIDS knowledge as a whole. People with high educational level and income had higher AIDS correlative knowledge than other groups. Only 37.5% (275) of 734 migrant workers who had heard about AIDS felt pity for people with HIV/AIDS. There were 39.6%, 7.3% and 6.9% of 943 migrant workers did not object to "pre-marital sex", "prostitution" or "wenching". There were 90 (9.5%) migrant workers admitted having non-marital sex for the last three months but 22 (28.6%) admitted never using condoms, and only 8 (10.4%) had used each time. It appeared that the higher educational level and scores about AIDS knowledge one had,the higher the rate of using a condom. Both longer time interval away from their families and working time were, the lower they would usage a condom.
CONCLUSIONMigrant workers in construction sites were potential high risk population for HIV/AIDS. AIDS health education and behavioral intervention should be carried out
