OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for regulating pediatric clinical drugs. METHODS:Package inserts of pediatric drugs used by the outpatient, inpatient and emergency pharmacies of our hospital during January and March in 2015 were collected. The information about pediatric drugs in the package inserts, including drug name, indications or functions,specification,adminis-tration and dosage, was calculated and analyzed. 815 kinds of drugs applicable to adults and children in our hospital were studied to summarize and analyze the dosage form, specification and dose of pediatric applicable drugs. RESULTS:438 package inserts were collected, including 327 related to chemicals and biologicals among which those imported or produced by sino-foreign joint venture were labeled with more complete information about drug use for children compared to those made in China, and 111 rele-vant to Chinese patent medicines and natural medicines for which there were significantly insufficient information about drug use for children. The applicable drugs with the dosage form for children and those with the specification therefor respectively accounted for 51.17% and 31.65% of the above-mentioned 815 kinds of drugs, and were mainly available as injections, tablets or capsules, granules and oral liquid. The drugs labeled with the dose based on the age group of children such as infant, preschooler, school child and adolescent(1-18 years old)accounted for 61.24% of those with the specification for children, the drugs labeled with the dose for babies (28 d-1 year old) accounted for 26.74% thereof, and the drugs labeled with the dose for neonatus (younger than 28 d)accounted for 12.02% thereof. CONCLUSIONS:The label information and variety of pediatric applicable drugs are marked-ly insufficient. It is suggested that our country should formulate relevant policies, strengthen the development of pediatric drugs and improve the data for clinical use thereof to ensure the safety of clinical use for children.

Objective To investigate principles of acupoint selection for the ancient acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of facial paralysis. Methods The ancient literature about acupuncture and moxibustion was collected and reviewed from the pre-Qin period to the late Qing Dynasty. According to the data selection criteria, acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions of facial paralysis were collected and input into an ancient acupuncture and moxibustion prescription database. By use of frequency analysis and factor analysis, the principles of acupoint selection were obtained.ResultsTotally 257 prescriptions were collected which involve 74 acupoints. Through frequency analysis, 19 acupoints were obtained whose frequencies were equal or greater than 9, such as Dicang (ST 4), Jiache (ST 6), Tinghui (GB 2), Shuigou (GV 26), Hegu (LI 4), etc. Through factor analysis of acupoint variables, 6 common factors were obtained. Conclusion Based on analysis of the common factors, the principles of acupoint selection are summarized which were according to meridian, part and etiology for the ancient acupuncture treatment of facial paralysis. The results could provide a reference for clinical acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. It is feasible that factor analysis was applied to study principles of acupoint selection for acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions.

Objective To investigate the changes of phenotypes and function of CD56+T cells during primary HIV-1 infection and their relationship with disease progression. Methods Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were collected from 53 subjects with primary HIV-1 infection and 31 HIV-1-negative healthy subjects. The percentages of CD56+T cells and the expression of several phenotypic markers on CD56+T cells including CD16, CD161, NKB1, NKG2A, NKp46, NKG2D, NKG2C and CD158a were analyzed by flow cytometry.IFN-γand TNF-αreleased by CD56+T cells with and without K562 stimulation and the levels of cytotoxic molecular CD107a were measured. Results The percentages of CD56+T cells in patients with primary HIV-1 infection were significantly lower than those of healthy subjects (P=0.025). The levels of CD56+T cells were negatively related to the viral loads in plasma samples ( P=0.021, r=-0.316).Compared with healthy subjects, the expression of CD16 (P=0.003), CD161 (P=0.023), NKB1 (P=0.023) and NKp46 (P=0.021) on CD56+T cells were decreased in patients with primary HIV-1 infection. The levels of NKB1 were positively related to the CD4+T cell counts ( P=0.007, r=0.364), but were negatively related to the viral loads in plasma samples (P=0.030, r=-0.299).Sponta-neous secretion of IFN-γand TNF-αby CD56+T cells and the expression of CD107a were dramatically in-hibited in patients with primary HIV-1 infection as compared with healthy subjects ( all P<0.001 ) . Moreover, the killing ability of CD56+T cells against K562 target cells was weakened in patients with prima-ry HIV-1 infection as the levels of IFN-γ-, TNF-α-and CD107a-producting CD56+T cells were significantly decreased (P<0.001 for IFN-γand TNF-α, P=0.016 for CD107a).Conclusion Inhibited expression and altered phenotypes of CD56+T cells were identified during primary HIV-1 infection.Lower levels of cy-tokines and cytotoxic molecular were also detected, indicating the dysfunction of CD56+T cells appeared dur-ing early stage of HIV-1 infection and was associated with disease progression.

Objective:To discuss the relationship between the serum level of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and the presence of an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD). Methods:The experimentalgroup was subdivided into the bleeding and the non-bleeding groups which consisted of 64 womenwith IUCD. There were 60 healthy women in the control group. The serum levels of IL-6 and C-reactive protein (CRP) were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in bothgroups. Results :In the experimental group, the serum levels of IL-6 in 3 cases were increased, andthere was a significant difference in comparison with those of the control group (P<0. 01),butthere were no statistical differences between the bleeding group and the non-bleeding group withIUCD (P>0. 05). Serum CRP was negative both in the experimental groups and in the controlgroup. Conclusion:The non-bacterial endometrial inflammation induced by IUCD causes the in-crease of serum level of IL-6 in some women. It is suggested that IL-6 may play an important rolein the contraceptive mechanism of IUCD.

Hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP)-induced sodium dodecyl sulfate/dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide (SDS/DTAB) catanionic surfactant coacervate extraction method coupled with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to detect the migration of phthalates from disposable tablewares to drinking water. The concentration factors are larger than 82 and extraction recoveries over 53%for water samples spiked with 100 or 200 ng/mL phthalates. Limit of detection is in the range of 1.0–2.6 ng/mL. Good linearity with correlation coefficients larger than 0.9985 is obtained in the concentration of 20–1500 or 40–3000 ng/mL. Relative recoveries are from 82.4%to 123.6%for water samples spiked with 30/60, 250/500, and 1500/3000 ng/mL phthalates, respectively. Relative standard deviations (RSDs) are 0.4%–7.4% for intraday precision (n ? 5) and 0.6%–7.8% for interday precision (n ? 3). Four of studied phthalates are found in the drinking water samples prepared from four kinds of tablewares.
