Objective To summary Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM Professor Xia GuiCheng's experience on treatment of infertility by the method of Tonifying the Kidney and Regulating the Period of Menses(TKRPM), meanwhile to observe the clinic curative effect of TKRPM combined with clomiphene for infertility.Methods The patients were randomly recruited into a TCM group and a TCM combined western medicine group by digital randomized methed,30 cases in each group.The TCM treated group was treated by the method of TKRPM, while the other group was treated by TCM combined with clomiphene. Both groups were treated for three months.Syndromes, basal body temperature, results of B ultrasonic, and hormone in serum were observed. Results In TCM treated group , the clinic effective rate was 93.3%, the pregnant ratio was 33.3%, mean-cure-time for pregnant was(8.20±2.35)months; while in TCM combined western medicine group, the clinic effective rate was 100%, the pregnant ratio was 20%, and mean-cure-time for pregnant was (5.17±1.72) months.The clinic effective rates (U=0.358) and the pregnant ratios (x2=1.346) of two groups were not markedly difference (P＞0.05), but the mean-cure-time for pregnant of the two groups was markedly difference(P＜0.05). Conclusion TKRPM combined with induction drugs can cure infertility in a shorter time than using TCM only. Western medicine improves endocrine environment,while traditional Chinese medicine regulates the relationship among kidney, TianGui and the uterus fundamentally. The method will be more acceptable to patients.

Objective To compare the efficacy of cilostazol and aspirin in the treatment of vascular dementia with white matter lesions.Methods 50 patients with vascular dementia with white matter lesions were randomly divided into control group (aspirin and nimodipine group)and observation group (cilostazol and nimodipine group). The control group was orally given aspirin enteric -coated tablets and nimodipine tablets,the observation group was treated with cilostazol tablets and nimodipine tablets.Then,the patients were followed up,compared the cognitive function and adverse events of the two groups after treatment 6 months and 1 2 months.Results 6 months and 1 2 months after treatment,MMSE score and MoCA score of the control group were significantly improved[the MMSE score and MoCA score before treatment were (20.1 2 ±4.25)points,(1 4.25 ±4.25)points,6 months after treatment were (21 .22 ±4.68)points,(1 6.45 ±3.25)points,1 2 months after treatment were (22.38 ±5.64),(1 6.95 ± 4.68);6 months after treatment,t =0.87,2.06;1 2 months after treatment,t =1 .96,2.1 4,all P <0.05].6 months and 1 2 months after treatment,MMSE score and MoCA score of the observation group were significantly improved than before treatment [before treatment the MMSE score and MoCA score were (1 9.85 ±5.1 4)points,(1 3.98 ± 6.28)points,6 months after treatment were (23.76 ±4.1 5)points,(1 8.75 ±4.28)points,1 2 months after treatment were (25.26 ±3.72)points,(23.95 ±5.43 )points,6 months after treatment t =2.96,3.1 4;1 2 months after treatment,t =4.26,6.00,all P <0.05].6,1 2 months after treatment,the MMSE score between the two groups had significant difference (t =2.03,2.1 3,all P <0.05),MoCA score between two groups had significant difference(t =2.1 4,4.88,all P <0.05).The incidence rates of cerebral hemorrhage in the observation group and control group were 0.00%,1 2.00%,the difference was significant (χ2 =3.1 9,P <0.05).Conclusion Cilostazol and nimodipine in the treatment of vascular dementia with white matter lesions,can significantly improve cognitive function of patients, and has less cerebral hemorrhage,significantly clinical effect,good security.

Objectives:To evaluate the effect of parenteral nutrition in very low birth weight infants(VLBWI). Methods:Ninety very low birth weight infants were divided into two groups:study group( n =46) and control group( n =44).Fluids for intravenous nutrition were infused in the study group through peripheral vein with micro computer infusion pump within 24 hours.The control group were generally treated without nutritional support. Results:Body weight in the study group began to increase during the 4th to 7th day after birth.Weight gain was 15～30(average 22.9?7.22)g every day. Objective To investigate the risk factors associated with early mortality of the rapid two-stage arerial switch operation, which has a significantly higher overall mortality than that of ASO procedure for D-TGA with a intact ventricular septun. Methods The data we reviewed involving patients who underwent rapid two-stage switch operations from September,2002 to September, 2007 in our center, 13 patients were male and 8 were female, their age at operation ranged from 29 to 250 days afer birth, and the body weight was 3.5 to 7 kg. Chi-squared test and multivariant logistic regression methods were used for the analysis of demographic data, pre-diagnosis information, operation data, interval data combined with the operation time,left ventricle training condition, and the early post-operative outcomes. Results The operative mortality was high at initial stage, and then decreased gradually. The logistic multivariant regression analysis indicated that the mortality of left ventricular training operation was associated with the diameters of BT shunt ( P =0.003 ); the mortality of two-stage switch was associated with feminie ( P = 0.006 ) and pre-operative p. LV/RV ( P ＜ 0.001 ). Conclusion Patients with transposition of the great arteries and intact ventricular septum who missed the optimal time for switch operation should receive rapid two-stage switch operations, which provide an opportunity for the correction of the deformity. The key factor associated with the success for operation was good in heart function after left ventricular training.

Objective To compare the efficacy of liver preservation in SX-1 solution,HC-A solution and UW solution in the two-cuff technique orthotopic liver transplantation model in rats.Methods We confected SX-1 solution using of aseptic technique and built up two-cuff technique orthotopie liver transplantation model in rats.The SX-1 solution,UW solution and HC-A solution preserved rats livers in 2 h,8 h and 24 h,then went orthotopic liver transplantation.The various hepatic indices were determined when the rats survived for 6 hours after the operation.Results For the ALT,AST,the SX-1 solution group(2 h,8 h,24 h)and UW solution group went up synchronously,there was no statistical significance,(P＞0.05).Compared with HC-A solution group the SX-1 solution group (2 h,8 h,24 h)has already shown the statistical signifcance(P＜0.05).For the LDH,the SX-1 solution group (2 h,8 h,24 h)and HC-A solution group went up synchronously,there was no statistical significance(P＞0.05).Compared with UW solution group the SX-1 solution group(2 h,8 h,24 h)has already shown the statistical significance(P＜0.05).For the number of liver with bile production,each group didn1 show the statistical significance (P＜0.05).The time of preserving liver increased with the number of liver with bile production reducing.Conclusions Confirmed by the orthotopie liver transplantation model in rat,the SX-1 solution is the same as the UW solution in the indices of hepatic enzymologists.exceeding the HC-A solution.The SX-1 solution is the same as HC-A solution and UW solution in the number of liver with bile production.

Objective To investigate the effects of combined treatment of suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid(SAHA)and TNF?related apoptosis inducing ligand(TRAIL)on proliferation and morphology change of triple?negative breast cancer cell MDA?MB?231. Methods The effects of combination treatment of SAHA and TRAIL on proliferation and morphology change of MDA?MB?231 cells were monitored by RTCA. Morphology changes of MDA?MB?231 cells by different treatment factors were observed through time?lapse live cell imaging acquisition. Results Real?time cell proliferation assays showed that a synergistic effect were found when MDA?MB?231 cells were treated with combination of SAHA and TRAIL , and reached the best effect with 5μmol/L SAHA and 50 ng/mL TRAIL. The results of time?lapse live cell imaging acquisition showed that the growth inhibition of MDA?MB?231 cells with combined treatment of SAHA and TRAIL were more obvious than that with treatment of SAHA or TRAIL alone. Conclusion The combined treatment of SAHA and TRAIL induces a synergistic effect on growth inhibition in triple?negative breast cancer cell line MDA?MB?231.

Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension(NCPH)is a group of diseases that show evidences of portal hypertension but no cirrhosis is present.Common causes of NCPH include pre-sinusoidal portal lesions such as portal vein thrombosis,congenital liver fibrosis and idiopathic portal hypertension,and post-sinusoidal portal lesions.The major feature of this group of diseases is well preserved liver function in spite of prominent portal hypertensive manifestations such as esophageal varices/gastrointestinal bleeding and splenomegaly/hypersplenism.Careful differentiation from cirrhosis requires thorough clinical,radiological and pathological investigation.Preventing and control of variceal bleeding and hypersplenism through medical,endoscopic and interventional procedures yield good prognosis in most of the patients with NCPH.
