1.FHIT gene and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(8):563-566
The human fragile histidine triad (FHIT) gene is a tumor suppressor gene, which is located at chromosome region 3p14.2.The fragile site FRA3B of the FHIT gene is the most unstable site.FHIT can promote apoptosis, and inhibit cell proliferation and tumorigenesis.High methylation status, loss of the various sections of the FHIT gene, changes of the fragile site FRA3B and abnormalities of FHIT transcripts can result in gene afunction, and then promote the development and progression of various types of cancers.Transfecting wild-type FHIT into tumor cells with low or lacking endogenous FHIT expression can induce apoptosis. The combined treatment with other genes may provide a new insight for the treatment of tumors.

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(11):1367-1370
[Objective]Summary of massage and composite therapy efficacy in the treatment of buttock epithelial neuritis, to explore the effective treatment of buttock epithelial neuritis.[Methods] To summarize the recent ten years related data on reports of buttock epithelial neuritis massage and combined thera-py.[Results] Single massage treatment can play a certain effect, but compared with the complex therapy, combined therapy effect is more remarkable. Com-bined therapy is the treatment of massage, acupuncture, acupotomy plus drug injection. Data showed that in addition to massage plus smal needle knife therapy and other complex therapy, the total effective rate was 100%.[Conclusion] Inflammation of buttock epithelial neuritis massage and composite thera-py is stable, and suitable for al ages, with fast recovery, less side effect, it can offer reasonable evidence-based foundation for clinical treatment.

AIM: To explore the effects of mindfulness- based stress reduction ( MBSR ) on anxiety, compliance and visual function in primary open angle glaucoma( POAG) patients. ·METHODS:Totally 64 patients, who were treated with topical medication and were diagnosed with POAG in the department of ophthalmology at Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, were randomly divided into the intervention group ( n=32 ) and the control group ( n=32 ) . Both groups received conventional mental health education while the intervention group was complemented with MBSR intervention. The patient's anxiety status, compliance rates and MD before and after the intervention were evaluated. ·RESULTS:After the MBSR intervention, the scores of HAMA of the intervention group were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0. 01). The compliance of patients in intervention group was higher than that of the control group (P<0. 01). ·CONCLUSION:The MBSR intervention can effectively relieve the anxiety of patients and improve the compliance in primary open angle glaucoma patients. It can be promoted and put into clinical application.
5.Application of 23 G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on severe ocular injury
International Eye Science 2014;(8):1529-1530
AIM: To evaluate the use of 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on severe ocular injury.
METHODS: Fifteen patients with ocular injuries including the corneal and scleral rupture associated hyphema, vitreous hernia in anterior chamber, traumatic lens rupture, lens subluxation, applied 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction.
RESULTS: The anterior ocular media of early postoperative became transparent quickly. No exudative lemma and no complications were found relate to puncture incisions after operations.
CONCLUSION:23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system can be used in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on sever ocular injury. It can reduce iatrogenic injury, operative complications and inflammatory response, also can shorten therapeutic time and create favorable conditions.

Aim To elucidate the relationship between IgG antibodies and penicillin allergy. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to examine 8 kinds of specific IgG antibodies, including major antigenic determinants:benzylpenicilloyl(BPO),ampicilloyl(APO),amoxicilloyl(AXO)and phenoxomethylpenicilloyl(PVO),and minor antigenic determinants:benzyl-penicillanyl(BPA),amoxicillanyl(AXA),ampicillanyl(APA)and phenoxomethylpenicillany(PVA),in the sera of 241 patients with penicillin allergy. Results Except BPA-IgG,levels of 7 kinds of antigenic determinants IgG antibodies were significantly higher than those of control group(P

In view of the weakness of the teachers' strength, students' lack of interest and the lack of unity of teaching materials in the foreign language teaching, Oral Medicine College of Chongqing Medical University carried out the reform to the professional foreign language courses in the postgraduate education period by strengthening the preparation of special teaching materials, reinforcing teaching staff construction, reforming teaching methods and creating a learning environment. The results of teaching assessment by students and peer-reviewers show that reform has achieved good results, and aiming at the problems in the teaching practice we also put forward such improvement measures as strengthening the student-centered teaching method, promoting new teaching methods and optimizing curriculum assessment programs.

Objective To study the effect of tetramethylpyrazine injection on proliferation and apoptosis of human acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) cell line Jurkat and the relevant molecular mechanisms. Methods Cells were treated with tetramethylpyrazine injection at various concentrations (0,0.25,0.50,0.75,1.00,1.25 and 1.50 mg/ml),CCK-8 method was used to detect the inhibition rates at 24,48 and 72 h.After cells were treated with different concentrations of tetramethylpyrazine injection (0,0.50,1.00 and 1.50 mg/ml) for 48 h,the cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry, and the Aurora-B and Survivin protein expression were analyzed by Western blot. Results Compared with the control group (cells without tetramethylpyrazine injection treatment),various concentrations of tetramethylpyrazine injection could effectively inhibit Jurkat cells proliferation in a time-and dose-dependent manner (P < 0.05),and IC50 at 24 h,48 h and 72 h after treatment were (1.33±0.16),(0.91±0.10) and (0.67±0.11) mg/ml,respectively.After cells were treated with tetramethylpyrazine injection at different concentrations (0.5,1.0 and 1.5 mg/ml) for 48 h,the number of treated cells in G2/M phase was increased, but that in S phase was decreased, and the apoptosis rates were significantly higher than that of control group, with a dose dependence (P < 0.05).The results of Western blot showed that the expression levels of Aurora-B and Survivin in treated cells were lower than that of control group, also with a dose dependence (P < 0.05).Conclusions Tetramethylpyrazine injection can effectively inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis of Jurkat cells in vitro, and its underlying mechanisms involve with down-regulation of the Aurora-B and Survivin protein expression.
