1.Quality Standard for Huisheng Diyidan Tablet
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(02):-
AIM:To establish the method for quality control of Huisheng Diyidan Tablet(Eupolyphagea seu Steleophaga;Radix Angelicae sinensis,Sanguis Draconis,etc.). METHODS: Radix Angelicae sinesis,Eupolyphaga seu Steleophaga,Chinnabaris,Moschus,Boswellia carterii were identified by microscope.Sanguis Draconis was identified by TLC,Pyritum was identified by general identified reaction; The content limitation of cinnabaris(HgS) was determined by titration.Ferulic acid content of Radix Angelicae sinensis was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: Every part of the tablet was identified, the content limitation of cinnabaris(HgS) and ferulic acid content of Radix Angelicae sinensis were determined. CONCLUSION: The method showed that the characteristic for identification is distinct and highly specific, quantitative assay is simple, accurate, reliable and can be used for quality control of Huisheng Diyidan Tablet effectively.
4.Improving understanding of liver immune function and enhancing research on cell therapy for liver diseases
Journal of Clinical Hepatology 2014;30(9):839-841
As an important immune organ, the liver has a unique immune microenvironment, and is one of the important places for innate immunity and adaptive immunity. The liver is closely connected with the immune system through the gut-liver axis and is also the target or-gan of immune injury. However, the defensive role of the liver for Hepadnaviridae remains unclear.Cell therapy for liver diseases includes input of liver cells or stem cells for functional replacement, therapy by immune cells for antiviral and antitumor purposes, and genetic therapy for hereditary hepatopathy with cells as the carrier. The features of mesenchymal stem cells,multi-directional differentiation potential and immunomodulatory property, become the hot spots of cell therapy for liver diseases, and efficient in vitro amplification of cells makes it possi-ble for the use of NK cells in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.

AIM:To research the chemical modification from berberine hydrochloride to berberrubine in Cortex Phellodendri before and after processing.METHODS:Berberrubine was isolated by column chromatography and the contents of berberine hydrochloride and berberrubine in different processed Cortex Phellodendri were determined by HPLC.RESULTS:With increacing processing temperature and time, part of berberine hydrochloride became berberrubine in processed Cortex Phellodendrin, and berberrubine content decreased under the condition of high temperature operation or overtime processing.CONCLUSION:The experimental data shows that the processed Cortex phellodendri has the maximum average content of berberrubine as processing temperature is maintained as 180 ?C for 40 min.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(6):1129-1133
Celastrol is a type of quinone methyl triterpene isolated from traditional Chinese medicine Tripterygium wilfordii, with pharmacological activities, like anti-inflammatory, immunosuppression and anti-tumor. This study focused on the effects of celastrol on adhesion, migration and invasion of lung cancer cells. The migration inhibition of lung cancer cells induced by celastrol was detected by the scratch test. The invasion inhibition of lung cancer cells induced by celastrol was measured by the transwell experiment. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to determine the effect of different concentrations of celastrol in integrin family and Akt signaling pathway in lung cancer cells. The results showed that celastrol inhibited adhesion, migration and invasion of lung cancer cells and expressions of integrins β3, β4, αv and phosphorylated Akt, GSK-3β, c-Raf, PDK1 in Akt signal pathway in a dose-dependent manner. Therefore, the study implies that Celastrol could inhibit the metastasis of lung cancer cells by suppressing Akt signaling pathway and expression of integrins.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2015;(1):32-35
Objective:To study the antibacterial properties of pure titanium treated with benzalkonium chloride solution.Meth-ods:10 mm ×10 mm ×1 mm titanium specimens were processed by the benzalkonium chloride solution at 1%,0.5% and 0.1%respectively followed by treatment in the cultured bacterial suspension, and then the antibacterial properties of the titanium plates were examined.Additionally, the thermal cycling test was carried out for the 1% benzalkonium chloride-treated titanium plates, and subsequently put the plates into cultured bacterial suspension, the duration of antibacterial properties was observed.Results:0.5% and 1% benzalkonium chloride solution-treated titanium plates significantly inhibited the growth of candida albicans(P <0. 05),1% solution was more effective than 0.5% solution. After 1 000 and 2 500 thermal cycling, the pure titanium still retained the antibacterial ability, but the plates treated by 5 000 cycling showed no antibacterial effect. Conclusion:A certain concentration of benzalkonium chloride can make the pure titanium obtain antibacterial properties. The treated plates may maintain the antibacte-rial properties for a minimum of 3 months.
