Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2008;17(6):418-420,423
Objective To compare the results of HLA serological typing and gene typing in acuteleukemia before and after achieved complete remission.then make sure whether the HLA matching could be performed before remission of acute leukemia. Methods The peripheral blood samples of 20 patients with acute leukemia at onset and in complete remission were performed for the HLA serological typing and gene typing by complement-dependent microcytotoxicity(CDC)assay and PCR-sequence for specific primer. The class Ⅰ HLA antigens reaction was quoted as NIH score.and paired-sample t test Was performed. The class Ⅰand class Ⅱ HLA allele specificity of acute leukemia at onset Was compared with that in complete remission. Results No absence or change of the class Ⅰ and class Ⅱ HLA allele specificity in acute leukemia was observed before treatment and after complete remission. There were significant differences (P<0.05) for HLA-A. B and Bw6 reaction at onset from complete remission. The expression of HLA-A, B and Bw6 was significant down-regulated.This phenomenon did not occur on Bw4 (P>0.05).The relationship of down-regulation of class Ⅰ HLA antigens and the amount of blast in peripheral blood Was not observed. Conclusion HIA typing could be performed by molecular technique when patients with acute leukemia were diagnosed. It would shorten the period of HLA-matching,and increase the opportunity of finding an appropriate allergenic hematopoietic stem cell donor.
2.Investigation of the risk factors associated with early mortality of the rapid two-stage arterial switch operation
Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery 2011;27(2):87-89
Objective To investigate the risk factors associated with early mortality of the rapid two-stage arerial switch operation, which has a significantly higher overall mortality than that of ASO procedure for D-TGA with a intact ventricular septun. Methods The data we reviewed involving patients who underwent rapid two-stage switch operations from September,2002 to September, 2007 in our center, 13 patients were male and 8 were female, their age at operation ranged from 29 to 250 days afer birth, and the body weight was 3.5 to 7 kg. Chi-squared test and multivariant logistic regression methods were used for the analysis of demographic data, pre-diagnosis information, operation data, interval data combined with the operation time, left ventricle training condition, and the early post-operative outcomes. Results The operative mortality was high at initial stage, and then decreased gradually. The logistic multivariant regression analysis indicated that the mortality of left ventricular training operation was associated with the diameters of BT shunt ( P =0.003 ); the mortality of two-stage switch was associated with feminie ( P = 0.006 ) and pre-operative p. LV/RV ( P < 0.001 ). Conclusion Patients with transposition of the great arteries and intact ventricular septum who missed the optimal time for switch operation should receive rapid two-stage switch operations, which provide an opportunity for the correction of the deformity. The key factor associated with the success for operation was good in heart function after left ventricular training.

Objective Implement random sample from a simulation population,to evaluate the The impact of samplesize and sample-process on several usual importance evaluate methods, observe the stability of those methods. Methods This study introduced existed importance methods, using PROC SURVEYSELECT procedure to sample a fixed population for 1000 times, generating 1000 same size sample,to evaluate the stability of relative importance methods. We sampled the population to generate datasets with different sample size to observe impact of sample-size on those methods. Results The sum of squared correlation coefficients' estimator is bigger than model R-square,squared standardized regression coefficients' sum is smaller. In contrary, sum of the Product Measure,Relative Weight and Dominance Analysis are extremely close to model R-square.When the sample size small than 1000,the estimator have obviously variation, but the variation decreased when the sample size rise up.Conclusion The dominance analysis has best stability, also has the best match of model R2 in those methods.

[Objective]To investigate the etiology, pathological characteristic and therapeutic effect of spontaneous rupture of the finger extensors.[Method]Twelve patients were included in this research group.Eight cases were diagnosed as spontaneous rupture of the extensor pollicis long(EPL) and were repaired by transfer of the extensor indicis proprius(EIP).Three cases were spontaneous double rupture of the the ring and small finger extensors. The distal stump of the ring finger extensor was woven into the middle finger extensor and the EIP was transferred to reconstruct the extensor digiti quinti. There was one case of spontaneous triple rupture of the the middle, ring finger and small finger extensors.Transplantation of frozen allogenic extensors was utilized.[Result]The finger extensor rupture occurred after either rheumatic arthritis or distal radius fracture. The former pathological examination showed that the tenosynovitis and chronic inflammation of tendons accompanying with localized necrosis was dominant, while tendon fiber rupture played an important role in the latter. All patients achieved 100% of good results and no recurrent rupture occurred.[Conclusion]The inflammation invasion or attrition in the fracture site was a patological basis to cause spontaneous rupture of finger extensors. The EPI transposition was a reliable option to reconstruct the EPL.It is suggested that allogenic tendon transplantation be applied in the case of multiple ruptures of the extensor tendons.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of secondary lymphoid tissue chemokine (SLC) in human gastric carcinoma. Method The study was designed to investigate semi-quantitatively the expression of SLC mRNA in gastric carcinoma and metastatic lymph nodes by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction.Result The expression of SLC mRNA in the gastric cancer tissues was markedly reduced compared with that in adjacent noncancer tissues. The average tumor/normal (T/N) ratio determined by RT-PCR was 0.43?0.08 in 29 patients.Metastatic lymph node/normal ratio was 0.63?0.07.Negative lymph node/normal ratio was 1.19?0.11. As a control, the mean G3PDH T/N ratio was 1.16?0.06,there was no correlation between SLC mRNA expression and clinicopathological characteristics in gastric cancer.ConclusionSLC mRNA expression is suppressed in the gastric tumours. SLC may play an important role in the early stage of carcinogenesis.

This article was aimed to evaluate the efficacy of acupuncture and flunarizine for migraine treatment. Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in migraine treatment by acupuncture andflunarizine were searched in the Pubmed, Cochrane Library, CNKI, VIP, and W anfang database. The quality of inclusion criteria were assessedaccording to the CochraneCollaboration's recommended methodand the effective data was extracted. Then, the RevMan5.2 software was used in thesummary and analysis of the effective literatures. The results showed thatthe total sample size was893 cases, with 10 studies according to the inclusion criteria. Meta-analysis showed that the short-term efficacy of the treatment group was higher than the control group [RR = 1.27, 95%CI (1.11, 1.45), P<0.000 4];the long-term efficacy of the treatment group was higher than the control group [RR = 1.76, 95%CI (1.05, 2.94), P=0.03]; headache degree of improvement was better than thecontrol group [MD = -2.00, 95%CI (-3.01, -0.99), P=0.000 1]. It was concluded that acupuncture was more effective than flunarizinein migraine treatment. However, the whole study sample size was relatively small, thequality assessment was not high, and the funnel plot analysis was left-right asymmetry, which indicated the presence of publication bias. It was concluded that more high-quality clinical cases should be confirmed in the future.
